A part of main series of Bachelor's art work created on the University (2003), awarded by The Prize of Decan for extraordinary work (every year only 1-3 people receive this Award). The whole series is available on the eBay (all 4 pieces the same size of 90x180 cm). The theme of my bachelor (and also Master degree work two years after) was Time and Timeness. The gesture of time flowing is undirectional and nonreversible moving. It is about influence of some moment for the future and about the whole gesture of the nonreversible flow. However original I usually try to be, to be honest I must say the main inspiration for this study were Gerhard Richter and Barnett Newman. In the concrete this piece (#4) was painted using a lot of water spouted by my mouth on the fresh color layer and this is the reason of this painting Softness. Such an impressive "memento mori!" and a meditation object with superb visual value as a "interier decoration"? Why not?

Description
This painting was created by uniquely developed technique which I used only once in 2000 and until now not repeated. It is a kind of oil frotáge and it causes that the resulting painting looks like a stretched leather. Its surface is glossy and embossed. Idea: all phenomenons perceived with our senses are like a leafs on one big bloom growing from one root, the consciousness. Masters of jnana yoga like Ramana Maharshi or Nisargadatta Maharaj would probably agree that this bloom has no center. And well it is an all-over-painting. This is my favourite and most expensive meditation painting. It is already framed but can be sent without its massive frame but the canvas cannot be rolled.

Once upon a time during my most wild trip in Prague I strongly experienced the existance of two opposite archetypes. The positive one I can call the Dark one. It is about freedom, gypsies, night, wildness, sex, alcohol, full living, water, woman, Goddess etc. The second negative archetype is the Light one with appropriate opposite characteristics. I wanted to paint the fact of such Duality one day and it firstly happened this year. This is a mysterious night landscape in Africa with pregnant dancing woman, drumming man hidden in darkness and lots of red snakes... The vigillant dog is also important. Dark wet jungle! Nothing is sure!
