Amber Sparkle , A Gorgeous Vintage Brooch

This brooch has lots of sparkle in it. It was part of my grandmother's collection. It catches the light beautifully!

The center stone is a delicate amber color. It seems to have a small inclusion --- a natural sort of birth defect -- but, in my opinion, it doesn't detract from the shimmering beauty of the stone. The stone is surrounded by other tiny little stones, and looks like marcasite. I noted 3 missing tiny stones, but it is not very obvious because the little stones are the same color as the setting.

The brooch measures 2 inches in length. It is unmarked. There is a safety clasp on back.

My grandmother loved each piece in her massive jewelry collection, and I hope this beauty finds a happy, new owner.

A super cute pair of hand-embroidered pets!

Stitched in classic red and black thread, the dog and cat are done on a single piece of cotton muslin fabric. They have an extra piece of fabric under each for reinforcement. They can be easily separated with a few snips if desired.

Stitching is in excellent condition. Miss Kitty has what looks like a very faint mark (perhaps pencil) on her cheek, but this may easily wash out. Otherwise, this piece is in wonderful shape.

Pet heads measure approximately 5.5" long from ears to chin.

Gorgeous Glass Grapes , a Miniature Vintage Set

This is a darling set of three little bunches of grapes in different colors. One is champagne, another is deep purple, and the last is cobalt blue. They have translucent glass leaves and wire stems wrapped in wool thread.

Some of the grapes on each bunch are frosted glass, and others are translucent, so they catch the light beautifully! See all the photos. Each bunch measures approximately 4" long.

There are a couple of tiny nicks on a few glass leaves, but the grapes themselves are in perfect condition. These will display very nicely.

Mouse , Little Vintage Handmade Pincushion

This cute little mouse was handmade many years ago by a local seamstress. He is made of cotton fabric and with a braided yarn tail. His ears are made of olive green wool felt. Pretty green buttons are his eyes, and his whiskers are made of waxed linen thread.

Mousie measures 5" long (not counting his tail.) He has a spot on one little ear but otherwise he's in fine shape.

(Stick pins not included.)

A pair of cute, vintage vinyl doll heads. One is brunette, the other is blonde, and they both have trendy, upswept ponytail hairdos. Heads measure 1.5" tall. They are attached to picks that measures nearly 3" long.

Paper tags attached say they were made in Hong Kong. Doll heads were never used and are in very good condition. The blondie has a very small, faint blue spot high on her forehead, but it is very pale and not obvious. Hair is excellent and face paint is beautiful.

This sweet butterfly will make you smile.

She is two-tone --- silver colored wings and gold colored body. Her eyes are two gorgeous little blue crystals. Her "wingspan" is just under 2".

This beauty comes directly from my grandmother's estate. It is circa late 1960's and is in excellent condition. It has no defects, is nice and shiny and was rarely worn, if at all. It displays as if in new condition.

Made by Avon. Safety clasp pin on back.

This is a charming set with a brown owl on each piece.

Included are a small tray (6.5" x 7.5") and 4 matching coasters (3.5" wide). Package states it is "decorative metal." It feels very lightweight, but sturdy. The set is still sealed in the original package. Other than a few minor scuffs, it looks to be in excellent shape!

A very charming addition to a baby or child's room!

This is a small, vintage wall hanging in a delightful print: lots of animals in assorted patterns, with cheery colors of yellow, green, turquoise and blue. It is made from a sturdy cotton fabric. The reverse is a solid green. There are tabs at the top for hanging.

This piece measures 24" x 20", not including the tabs. It is in excellent condition with no holes or stains. Colors are nice and bright!

This fine bone China mug features a sweet image of a robin perched on a branch. Made by Royal Sutherland in England.

The mug is in very nice condition. There was gold around the rim but it has mostly worn away. The cup has no chips or cracks. Lovely.
