The columns in ancient Greek architecture come in three flavors, the most ornate of which is the Corinthian. The tops of this variety of columns are very ornate, with scrolls and polyps bursting out of the marble and hanging in beautiful bunches around the circumference. This line was inspired by this style of columns, with a little Medusa thrown in for good measure.

Am I a scholar of ancient architecture? Nope, I just think these things are real purty.

I worked on a limited edition series with these three yarns a few weeks ago, and just worked into whatever direction felt right. This one turned into a really cool open shape that reminds me of a patch of clover.
