This is a gorgeous sterling silver plated necklace that I made using a circa 1920s risque pinup. The crystal clear photo is printed on archival paper and sealed under glasslike domed resin that magnifies the image and creates interesting plays of light as you move.

The pendant measures 1.25 inches tall (not including bail) and comes with a 18 inch silver plated chain.

This GORGEOUS vintage ring is crafted out of 14 karat gold and features 24 bright and sparkling diamonds. The diamonds are of the highest quality with an average color of H-I and an average clarity of SI2-I1. The center stone is just under .25 carats. It is crafted in a Deco Revival style reminiscent of the sapphire bull's eye ring I sold previously here:

It is also marked with '14k' for 14 karat gold and 'Effy' for Effy Jewelers. Effy Jewelers has been in business since 1979 and is still thriving today.
It is a size 7 and could easily be sized up or down, about 1 size only because of the nature of the setting, by your local jeweler.

This is a gorgeous brooch that features a carnelian cameo of three dancing muses. The chandelier drop has a tiny complimentary classical cameo of a lady.

The brooch itself measures 2.25 inches tall and then the additional drop adds another inch. The pin on the back has a soldered bail so this beautiful piece can also be worn as a pendant.

This is a fabulous example of an genuine Art Nouveau brooch. Its measures just over 2.75 inches wide and is 2 inches tall. The organic flowing lines are executed in gilded brass with exceptional attention to detail and features an Egyptian Revival motif about the frame. The design is highlighted with the addition of 3 Czech glass stones in a gorgeous Topaz color. The brooch closes with a 'c' clasp characteristic of time in which it was created and is signed with the initials 'G.L.P.' This brooch is in Very Fine condition, there is some discoloration to the solder that is apparent in the photos.

This is a GORGEOUS necklace I made from antiqued brass findings and a movement from an antique pocket watch made by Elgin around 1920. The movement has a very beautiful patina to it due to age and has guilloche engraved stripe details. I added faceted sand opal Swarovski crystals and peach colored Swarovski pearls to further enhance this breathtaking piece.

The length of the drop of the matching earrings measure 2 of an inch.
The pendant measures 2.5 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the drop.
The main chain of the necklace measures 15 inches and I added a lovely detailed 2 inch extender chain to enable the wearer a perfect fit.

This necklace is breathtaking when paired with a corset!

A Mint Condition Art Deco Metal Mesh Mandalian Purse- Turquoise and Gold- Birds Flowers and Fringe- Circa 1930

For your consideration is this delightful Art Deco purse made by the Mandalian Manufacturing Company between 1920 and 1940. It is signed on the inside of the frame. The frame is very ornate with a design of Victorian flourishes and flowers with enameled detailing in turquoise and black. The clasp is very beautiful and features a design of a wreath flanked by two birds. The back part of the clasp is a flower that closes by latching into the wreath. It has an oh-so Deco design executed in turquoise, gold, and dark blue enamel upon the metal mesh. It is in Near Mint and very usable condition, and still retains it's inner lining. It measures 3.5 inches wide and is 7.5 inches tall form the top of the clasp to the bottom of the fringe. There are 2 pieces of fringe missing.

I got so excited when making these necklaces! The centerpiece is a bit from a circa mid to late 1700s (Yes, 1700s) pocket watch. The 250+ year old treasure has been expertly pierced, sawed, and engraved by hand so no two are alike. I felt that the only way to highlight such an amazing and miniscule work of art was to bedeck it with an ornate gold chain and over 3 carats of natural genuine emerald gemstone beads.

The gold plated chain measures 18 inches. The pendant measures 7/8s of an inch by 1 and 3/8s of an inch.

I added faceted beads of genuine garnet along the chain and as a detail for the drop to further highlight the beauty of this piece. The centerpiece measures 1.25 inches wide and 2.5 inches long, including the drop. The chain is made of antiqued silver plated brass and measures 16 inches.

The pendant is suspended by multiple chains that have all be plated in sterling silver and then antiqued. I added some gorgeous light olivine colored Swarovski crystals as accents, that are a perfect match to a fine glass of Absinthe.

The necklace measure 15 inches in diameter and I added a 2 inch extender chain to enable the wearer a perfect fit.

My love of Clara Bow was cemented the first time I saw a still from one of her films in a magazine... Her cropped curls, hauntingly large eyes, and that tiny little perfect cupid's bow of a mouth... This design pays homage to that bygone era of flappers, vamps, and Art Deco geometry.

In my search for watch parts and antique jewelry I frequently come across broken bits that are so stunning I cannot pass them up, and thus my Altered Heirlooms line was born. This piece features rhinestone encrusted Art Deco components from the 1920s suspended from antiqued silver plated chains. The main chain measures 15 inches and the drop from the top of the connector to the bottom of the pendant measure 3.25 inches. I added a 2 inch extender chain to enable the wearer a perfect fit. The triangular pendant is 2.25 inches wide and 1.75 inches tall.

This show stopping necklace will make you feel like a queen! I paid very close attention to how this necklace lays upon the decollete and the result is nothing less than stunning! It features a tiny Victorian Era pocket watch as a centerpiece that measures 1 inch in diameter. The chains are made of antiqued brass. The top chain's circumference is 14 inches and the bottom dropped chain is 18 inches (including the part that encircles the back of your neck). I added a 2 inch extender chain to enable the wearer a perfect fit. The dial on the rolled gold pocket watch has a red number '12' and is highlighted by the addition of ruby red Czech glass drops. I added some delightful Swarovski COLOR CHANGE crystals along the chain, as well, that change from a sea foam green in artificial light to the palest most delicate shade of lavender grey in natural light (see the last two photos). The pocket watch is engraved on the back with a monogram and can be turned around for a completely different look. The time on the watch is easily changed in case you would like to immortalize a particular event you would like to remember.

This necklace would look particularly fantastic paired with a corset or anything with a low cut neckline.

This one of a kind Neo Victorian wonder was made using a recycled mid 19th century pocket case that measures 2 inches in diameter. The case is made of 12 karat rose gold fill. Within this case I mounted a skull of a mouse among a gorgeously engraved pocket watch movement. The movement features guilloche engraved details, genuine ruby bearings, and beautiful golden text and exposed gears. I added three iridescent Labradorite cabochons and two smaller Rainbow Moonstone Cabochons creating a lovely asymmetrical composition. The ornate chain measures 18 inches long and is highlighted with the addition of two beautiful Sand Opal Swarovski crystals. The chain is made of antiqued brass. This necklace is *not* encased in resin. Air flows free under the glass and throughout the inside of the pocket watch case, the same as in shadow boxes.

This is truly a stunning piece!

The creation of my Ossuary Relics was inspired by the Sedlec Ossuary, or Bone Church, outside of Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic. There is a long history of how this tiny little church was a favorite burial place of the Czech between 1200s and the 1700s. Countless remains were transported there during various plagues and wars and it began to get rather crowded. The most interesting part of the story happens in 1870 when the church employed a local woodcarver to sort through and organize the remains. This inspired gentleman, by the name of František Rint, not only did his job but decided to include the interior design of the church as part of his task. He created 4 enormous bell shaped mounds of bones in each corner of the church, each one with a massive crown hanging above signifying that all men are are considered equal at the gates of Heaven. He also crafted a massive chandelier in the center of the room that contains every bone in the human body, a Schwarzenberg coat of arms, garlands of skulls and crossbones that cover the ceiling and walls, a few obelisks, and even signed his work on the wall near the door in bones. His work is quite fantastic.

This is a GORGEOUS necklace I made from antiqued silver plated stampings of a glorious pair of wings and a movement from an antique pocket watch. The 18 inch chain and bail are plated in sterling silver and graces the bust most elegantly. The pendant itself measures 1.5 inches from top to bottom and 1 inch wide. I mounted a topaz colored
Swarovski crystal set within a spring barrel for added interest.

It was made from findings that have been made from antiqued brass and then antiqued to highlight the RARE and UNIQUE ornately tooled and engraved crescent shaped partial movement from an antique pocket watch, circa early 1800s. There are gorgeous contrasting blue screws and a lovely regulator bit that is marked with 'f' (for fast) and 's' (for slow). There is even more detail apparent in the gorgeous engraved balance cock and wheel. This necklace is exquisite!

This is a GORGEOUS necklace I made from a BREATHTAKING movement from an antique pocket watch suspended from a glorious pair of antiqued silver plated wings. This necklace is utterly gorgeous, especially in the way it lays on the decollete, highlighting the clavicle bones of the wearer.

This one of a kind work of art was made using a recycled late 1800s pocket case that measures just over 2 inches in diameter. The case is from the 1920s and the 'crystal' lens is original to the piece and shows signs of wear. Within this case I mounted a skull and jawbones of a rat on top of a trio of lovely naturally colored electric green peacock feathers. The feather I chose for this composition is one from the back of the bird, not the more commonly used 'eye' feathers from the tail. The main chain measures 16 inches long and I added a 2 inch extender chain to allow the wearer a perfect fit. The chain is made of antiqued silver plated brass.

This necklace is *not* encased in resin. Air flows free under the glass and throughout the inside of the pocket watch case, the same as in shadow boxes.

This lovely necklace was made using a recycled circa 1920's wristwatch. I used the case as a centerpiece to showcase the exposed gears of a vintage watch movement which features genuine ruby gemstone movements within it (look closely for the little red dots). To further highlight these lovely details I added a ruby Czech glass drop. The pendant measures 2.5 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pear shaped drop and hangs on a 16 inch antiqued brass chain.

This is a gorgeous brooch that features a delphite blue cameo of a female grecian charioteer and two horses. The chandelier drop has a tiny complimentary classical cameo of a lady.

This one of a kind work of art was made using a recycled contemporary watch case that measures 2 inches in diameter. Within this case I mounted a late 1800's movement from a Elgin pocket watch upon which I set a mouse skull and cabochons of genuine garnet and carnelian gemstones. The case comes with a 60 inch black chiffon scarf and can be worn as a choker, belt, hat band, or any other way you can think of. This reliquary piece is *not* encased in resin. Air flows free under the glass and throughout the inside of the pocket watch case, the same as in shadow boxes.

The creation of my Ossuary Relics was inspired by the Sedlec Ossuary, or Bone Church, outside of Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic. There is a long history of how this tiny little church was a favorite burial place of the Czech between 1200s and the 1700s. Countless remains were transported there during various plagues and wars and it began to get rather crowded. The most interesting part of the story happens in 1870 when the church employed a local woodcarver to sort through and organize the remains. This inspired gentleman, by the name of František Rint, not only did his job but decided to include the interior design of the church as part of his task. He created 4 enormous bell shaped mounds of bones in each corner of the church, each one with a massive crown hanging above signifying that all men are are considered equal at the gates of Heaven. He also crafted a massive chandelier in the center of the room that contains every bone in the human body, a Schwarzenberg coat of arms, garlands of skulls and crossbones that cover the ceiling and walls, a few obelisks, and even signed his work on the wall near the door in bones. His work is quite fantastic.

Victorian Gothic - French Jet Mourning Cross with Opera Length Hand Knotted Jet Necklace - 54 Inches- Circa 1870

For your consideration is this AMAZING Victorian French Jet cross from the 1870s. I bought it as a solo piece, but it just looked naked, so I found this gorgeous opera length Jet necklace that was made in the 1920s to pair it with.

The cross if made of genuine French jet faceted stones set upon a black enameled brass backing. There are six layers making up the starburst design of this cross, each layer has long navette shaped stones tipped with tiny round faceted stones. The largest navette on the bottom of the cross has some scratches on it . 4 of the small round stones and one of the tiniest navettes are missing. 4 of the small navettes and one of the tiny round stones have been replaced by what curiously seems to be exact matches, but in amethyst depression glass. Amethyst depression glass appear to be the deepest black at first glance, but when held up against the sun, one can see a deep purple glow. These replacements are very difficult to differentiate between the jet. These details are hardly noticeable when worn.

The necklace was made circa 1920. It is Austrian in origin and signed as such on the clasp. It is of an opera length measuring 54 inches and is hand knotted in between each bead. There are scratches on some of the beads due to age and use. Each facetted oval bead measures .25 inches long.

This beauty can be worn in a variety of ways including double and triple loops around the neck. Because there is a clasp on the strand of beads, it can even be worn wrapped 4 times around a slender neck. The sky is the limit!!

This piece is wonderfully gothic and saturated with history!!!

A Very Rare Victorian Blue and Black Enameled Gold Locket - Stylized HOT AIR BALLOON Motif - Circa 1880

For your consideration is this gorgeous and rare gold filled Victorian locket. It was made circa 1880 and features a unique design of a stylized hot air balloon executed in black and blue Taille d'Epargne enamel. Taille d'Epargne is an enameling technique in which the metal is first engraved and then the grooves are filled with enamel. It is in exquisite condition and looks as if it has never been used. The original paper, internal frames, and covers are present. Please see the last photo for size reference.

This is an exceptional Victorian mourning brooch made from pressed horn, circa 1870. It is executed in exquisite detail and depicts a hand holding a wreath of roses and a handful of wheat. It measures 2 inches long and about .75 inches tall at it's widest point. The pin on the back is original and has a 'c' type closure, characteristic of the time it was created.

In Victorian sentiment roses symbolize love and wheat symbolized wealth or riches.

This elegant necklace was made by Eisenberg between 1945 and 1958. It is signed on the clasp. Eisenberg was a favorite costume jewelry designer of the time and their pieces frequently graced the silver screen and red carpets of Hollywood. This piece is no exception. This tasteful design consists of a strand of two sizes of prong set rhinestones measuring 6 and 4 mm in diameter. The focal point of the necklace is artfully executed with tiny pave set rhinestones flanking two 11mm rhinestones and two 6mm stones creating an excellent balance in this piece. This choker length necklace is adjustable size and will anywhere from 13.5 to 16.5 inches.

A note on terms, most people are rather flexible on their terminology when it comes to antiques, but I try to stick to what I was taught growing up. The following terms are standard that I, and most reputable dealers, use to describe antique and vintage items;
Vintage- 25 to 99 years old.
Antique- Aged 100 years or more.
Victorian- 1836-1901
Art Nouveau- 1890-1919

This is a show stopping necklace I made from antiqued sterling silver plated chain and findings to highlight an ornately tooled and engraved plate from an antique pocket watch. I added a brass stamping of a golden swallow to further compliment and highlight the gold colored exposed bearing within the plate. I antiqued the stamping by hand using two colors of paint and then sealed it in resin for longevity.

The chain measures 16 inches long and graces the bust most elegantly. The pendant itself measures 2 inches from the lower wing tip to the top of the crescent shaped plate.

The Jane Digby Necklace - Altered Heirlooms- Recycled Victorian Pendant with African Turquoise- Nouveau Motley Original

Jane Digby is my favorite Victorian of note. She was an English aristocrat that led a scandalous life full of adventure and various affairs before falling in love with a Syrian sheikh at the age of 46. His name was Megjuel el Mezrab and she spent the rest of her life happily married to him and spending half the year in a palace in Damascus and the other half living in the Syrian desert in traditional nomadic style tents. She was a passionate freethinker who refused to conform to the strict Victorian roles of women.

This necklace pays homage to the unexpected and complimentary combination of European Victorianism and the more tribal life of Middle Eastern nomads by pairing a gilded Victorian pendant with variegated beads of African Turquoise. The pendant measures just over two inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant. It features a Victorian design of applied scrollwork and embossed laurel leaves about the sides. There is some loss to the gilding on both the top and bottom of the applied scroll (see photos). The pendant is from the 1880s and carried a maker's mark of 'S.O.B.' on the bail. I hung the pendant on a hand knotted 14 inch strand African Turquoise beads. I hand selected only the finest examples to include in this piece. African Turquoise has this outrageously gorgeous color reminiscent of pale Chrysophrase and the colors of the Mediterranean with shades of blue green mottled with veins of sand colored stone. The pendant hits just below the clavicle and is positively stunning.

This one of a kind, wearable work of art is known as a Kafka Clock. It's creation was influenced by biomechanics, the shadowboxes of Joseph Cornell, the literature of Franz Kafka, and the aesthetics of the modern movement known as Steampunk; a sub-culture based on Victorian Invention, such as the steam powered engine and other mechanical devices that go whirr, whiz, and POP!

This unique piece features an antique watch movement enhanced with the addition of natural, untreated Aventurine and Citrine cabochons and a natural jewel-like Pachryrrhynchus specimen from the Philippines. The combination of which illustrates the beauty of human invention as well as the splendors of Nature's own handiwork.

It can be worn as a (non-functional) pocket watch or pendant, or can be hung on a wall as an interesting shadowbox or shrine.

The case measures just over 2 inches in diameter and the main chain measures 16 inches. I added a 2 inch extender chain to enable the wearer a perfect fit. The chain and findings are made of antiqued silver plated brass.

This one of a kind work of art was made using a tiny recycled mid 1800s ladies pocket case that measures 1.25 inches in diameter. It it gold filled and quite ornate and is covered with Victorian scrollwork on the front, sides, and back. Within this case I mounted a skull and jawbones of a mouse. The main chain measures 15 inches long and I added a lovely Swarovski crystal black diamond connector in an antique fashion to further add to the beauty of this Neo Victorian wonder. The chain is made of antiqued brass. This necklace is *not* encased in resin. Air flows free under the glass and throughout the inside of the pocket watch case, the same as in shadow boxes.

The creation of my Ossuary Relics was inspired by the Sedlec Ossuary, or Bone Church, outside of Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic. There is a long history of how this tiny little church was a favorite burial place of the Czech between 1200s and the 1700s. Countless remains were transported there during various plagues and wars and it began to get rather crowded. The most interesting part of the story happens in 1870 when the church employed a local woodcarver to sort through and organize the remains. This inspired gentleman, by the name of František Rint, not only did his job but decided to include the interior design of the church as part of his task. He created 4 enormous bell shaped mounds of bones in each corner of the church, each one with a massive crown hanging above signifying that all men are are considered equal at the gates of Heaven. He also crafted a massive chandelier in the center of the room that contains every bone in the human body, a Schwarzenberg coat of arms, garlands of skulls and crossbones that cover the ceiling and walls, a few obelisks, and even signed his work on the wall near the door in bones. His work is quite fantastic.

My love of Clara Bow was cemented the first time I saw a still from one of her films in a magazine... Her cropped curls, hauntingly large eyes, and that tiny little perfect cupid's bow of a mouth... This design pays homage to that bygone era of flappers, vamps, and Art Deco geometry.

In my search for watch parts and antique jewelry I frequently come across broken bits that are so stunning I cannot pass them up, and thus my Altered Heirlooms line was born. This piece features rhinestone encrusted Art Deco components from the 1920s suspended from antiqued silver plated chains. The main chain measures 15 inches and the drop from the top of the scarab beetle connector to the bottom of the pendant measures just under 2.25 inches. I added a 2 inch extender chain to enable the wearer a perfect fit. The triangular pendant is 1.75 inches wide and 1.25 inches tall.

This is a beautiful necklace I made using a 25x18mm resin cameo of a lady. The portrait on the cameo is a particularly beautiful one with wild curls and grape and grape leaf detailing. I set the cameo on a gorgeous detailed pendant setting featuring a classical laurel leaf design.

The chain measures 16 inches and the pendant measures 1 and 3/4 inches tall by 1 and 3/8s of an inch wide.

This beautiful necklace was made using a recycled circa late 1800s pocket watch. The case is made of solid gold and I used it as a centerpiece to showcase the exposed gears of a vintage watch movement which features genuine ruby gemstone movements within it (look closely for the little red dots which are actually rubies made into bearings for the gear pinions). To further highlight these lovely details I added a ruby Czech glass drop. The watch face has blued hands and you are able to change the time and you can also wind it. The watch will move and tick a bit, but does not keep accurate time. The pendant measures 2 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pear shaped drop and hangs on a 16 inch antiqued brass chain.

This is a GORGEOUS necklace I made from antiqued brass findings and a movement from an antique pocket watch. The main chain measures 18 inches long and graces the bust most elegantly. I added peridot colored Czech glass beads and palace opal colored Swarovski beads as accents.

The main chain measures 15 inches long and graces the bust most elegantly. I added a two inch extender chain to enable a perfect fit.

I added faceted beads of genuine garnet along the chain and as a detail for the drop to further highlight the beauty of this piece. The centerpiece measures 1.25 inches wide and 2.5 inches long, including the drop. The chain is made of antiqued silver plated brass and measures 16 inches.

This beauty was made in the 1930s and screams Art Deco. It is artfully crafted in rhodium plated pot metal. It is marked with a '67' on the back. The stones are very bright and all are present. There is the most minor yellowing to a few of the stones but not noticeable unless you are looking *very* closely with an *extremely* scrutinizing eye. The emerald colored glass cabochons are in a very unique bullet shape. This bracelet is exceptional, eye catching, and in fine condition. It measures 7 inches long and just under 3/8s of an inch wide. The push clasp works perfectly.

I have been raised around antiques. My uncle was an auctioneer and dealer since long before I was born and, having no children of his own, took me on to pass down his personal legacy. The more frightening aspect of this is that when I occasionally and respectfully point out to these dealers that they are selling a reproduction piece they tend to get extremely hostile. Because of this, I have been holding my tongue more and more, but still feel awful about the bum deal someone is going to get.

While I have extensive knowledge of antiques and collectibles, there is no way the human brain, even with the aid of every price guide in print, could know everything about everything. I describe my antiques to the best of my ability and reference multiple sources before making educated statements about a piece. I stand behind what I sell and if you find out that a piece is not as described I will happily offer you a refund.

A note on terms, most people are rather flexible on their terminology when it comes to antiques, but I try to stick to what I was taught growing up. The following terms are standard that I, and most reputable dealers, use to describe antique and vintage items;
Vintage- 25 to 99 years old.
Antique- Aged 100 years or more.
Victorian- 1836-1901
Art Nouveau- 1890-1919
Edwardian- 1901-1920
Art Deco- 1920-1935

A Highly Detailed Victorian Whitby Jet and Gutta Percha Brooch - Horseshoe and Forget Me Not Floral Motif - Symbol of True Love and Luck- Circa 1870

For your consideration is this fabulous Victorian mourning brooch. It is made of hand carved Whitby Jet with an applied forget me not flower of Gutta Percha, a hard resin of the Gutta tree. Many might call this piece a mourning brooch, but contrary to popular opinion, Whitby Jet jewelry was not only used in periods of mourning but was also highly popular outside of mourning. In Victorian sentiment the horseshoe stands for luck and the Forget Me Not stands for true love. It measures 1.5 inches long and 1.25 inches tall. It closes with a 'c' clasp characteristic of the time that it was created.

This is a pair of gorgeous clockwork earrings. They are made from a matched pair of ornately engraved balance cocks from an antique pocket watch that read 'Safety Pinion' (circa late 1800s). I used sterling silver plated earwires and components that have been antiqued and added a pair of lovely sea opal colored Swarovski crystals as accents.

They measure 2 inches long from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the watch movement.

This one of a kind Neo Victorian wonder was made using a recycled mid 19th century pocket case that measures 1.25 inches in diameter. Within this case I mounted a skull of a mouse among a gorgeously segmented golden colored pocket watch movement. I added four deep crimson garnet cabochons creating a lovely asymmetrical composition. The antiqued brass chain measures 15 inches long and is highlighted with the addition of crimson Czech glass beads. I added a 2 inch extender chain to enable the wearer a perfect fit. This necklace is *not* encased in resin. Air flows free under the glass and throughout the inside of the pocket watch case, the same as in shadow boxes.

This is truly a stunning piece!

The creation of my Ossuary Relics was inspired by the Sedlec Ossuary, or Bone Church, outside of Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic. There is a long history of how this tiny little church was a favorite burial place of the Czech between 1200s and the 1700s. Countless remains were transported there during various plagues and wars and it began to get rather crowded. The most interesting part of the story happens in 1870 when the church employed a local woodcarver to sort through and organize the remains. This inspired gentleman, by the name of František Rint, not only did his job but decided to include the interior design of the church as part of his task. He created 4 enormous bell shaped mounds of bones in each corner of the church, each one with a massive crown hanging above signifying that all men are are considered equal at the gates of Heaven. He also crafted a massive chandelier in the center of the room that contains every bone in the human body, a Schwarzenberg coat of arms, garlands of skulls and crossbones that cover the ceiling and walls, a few obelisks, and even signed his work on the wall near the door in bones. His work is quite fantastic.

This lovely necklace was made using a recycled circa 1920's wristwatch. I used the case as a centerpiece to showcase the exposed gears of a vintage watch movement which features genuine ruby gemstone movements within it (look closely for the little red dots). To further highlight these lovely details I added an amethyst Czech glass drop. The pendant measures 2 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pear shaped drop and hangs on a 16 inch antiqued brass chain.

This is a GORGEOUS necklace I made from antiqued brass findings and a movement from an antique pocket watch. I added peach colored Swarovski pearls and amethyst colored Czech glass drops to further enhance this breathtaking piece.

The matching earrings measure 2.25 inches fromthe top of the earwire to the bottom of the drop.
The pendant measures 2.5 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the drop.
The main chain of the necklace measures 15 inches and I added a lovely detailed 2 inch extender chain to enable the wearer a perfect fit.

This necklace is breathtaking when paired with a corset!

Medium Sized Three Legged Art Nouveau Trinket Box - Violet Motif - Symbol of Faith and Modesty- Signed- CIRCA 1910

For your consideration is this sweet little jewelry box dating to around 1910. The box features a stunning open worked floral spray of violets in a classic Art Nouveau style on the lid and around the sides. In the language of flower violets symbolize faith and modesty. It is copper plated and signed with a maker's mark of "B&W" on the bottom and a model number of '"14". Its silken lining has been replaced with gold and cream colored brocade. This little trinket box stands on 3 legs and is in good condition. There is a little scrap on the bottom that resulted in some loss of the metal, though doesn't interfere with the functionality of this box.

It measures 4 x 3 x 3.25 inches.

Elegant and very sweet. Would be a lovely addition to any dressing table or vanity.

While I have extensive knowledge of antiques and collectibles, there is no way the human brain, even with the aid of every price guide in print, could know everything about everything. I describe my antiques to the best of my ability and reference multiple sources before making educated statements about a piece. I stand behind what I sell and if you find out that a piece is not as described I will happily offer you a refund.

A note on terms, most people are rather flexible on their terminology when it comes to antiques, but I try to stick to what I was taught growing up. The following terms are standard that I, and most reputable dealers, use to describe antique and vintage items;

This one of a kind, wearable work of art is known as a Kafka Clock. It's creation was influenced by biomechanics, the shadowboxes of Joseph Cornell, the literature of Franz Kafka, and the aesthetics of the modern movement known as Steampunk; a sub-culture based on Victorian Invention, such as the steam powered engine and other mechanical devices that go whirr, whiz, and POP!

This unique piece features an antique watch movement enhanced with the addition of a jewel-like insect specimen of the family Chrysomelidae from Madagascar. The combination of which illustrates the beauty of human invention as well as the splendors of Nature's own handiwork. These magnificent pieces are *not* encased in resin. Air flows free under the glass and throughout the inside of the pocket watch case, the same as in shadow boxes.

This Kafka Clock comes with a heavy rolo chain that features two large lobster clasps as closures, paying homage to the look and feel of pocket watch chain. The chain is available in 16, 18, or 20 inch length.

GORGEOUS Art Nouveau Style Vintage Necklace in Brass with Faux Pearls - Berry and Leaf Design

This choker length beauty is old, but I am unsure as to an actual date. I believe that it is at least from the 1940s and may very well be much older dating to the 1900s. It is artfully crafted in brass with faux pearl detailing. The necklace measures 15.5 inches and featured 3 segments for the centerpiece. The central part of the drop, with the larger pearls, measures 1 inch long by .75 wide and has two flanking segments each measuring 1.25 inches long by approximately .5 inch wide. These segments are made of multiple brass leaves curled around faux pearls with the final result looking like berries. There is a scratch on one side of one of the larger pearls, but it is located near the back and is not noticeable when worn. It is unsigned. The brass of the leaves and heavy rope chain has a lovely rich patina due to age and the pearls are varying shades of rosy gold.
