Featured inside is a piece of artwork under a clear cabochon. The necklace has a 1/2" wide layer of sheer black Organza ribbon.

Choose your necklace length! Each ribbon has an extra 2" of possible extension! You are bidding on a fantasy art choker featuring the art of Misty Benson (me!). This choker highlights a 40x30mm cameo (entire piece 2 in. tall x 1.5 in. wide) set in a scalloped overlay bezel with a gorgeous rope setting for a more decadent feel. Featured inside is a piece of artwork under a clear cabochon. The choker is set into black velvet choker decadently edged with lace and brocade. The cameo is highlighted by little silver stars and tiny blue beads.

This unique art choker was designed and crafted by my boyfriend Jeremy to showcase my art. He has made some gorgeous chokers for me to wear personally, and he is now offering them to my fans. I personally love them so I am excited to see what new designs he will conjure!

The necklace closes with a lobster clasp and extender chain. The choker is adjustable, so it will fit necks as small as 12" up to 18". The cameo may be removed from the choker and put on your favorite necklace or chain! So you may accessorize it in many ways!

"Since visiting China, I have wanted to paint the Chinese Zodiac! I put it off for years, but now I think I am ready to begin with Series A. And what better time to begin than that of the Year of the Rat--the first sign!

For this print, a haunting girl carries a pale rat through the midnight snow. The rat is the 1st sign of the Chines zodiac. It's ruling hours are from 11pm-1am. That is why I chose to show the scene in the dead of the night. The season and month of the rat are Winter/December. The rat is associated with the gemstone garnet. So I included a garnet encrusted skull in her hair. It is also associated with the element of water; hence, the little looking pool behind the girl. And in the sky, I had the stars align to show the Chinese character for rat."

You are bidding on a PRINT from an original painting, painted by myself, Misty* (gossamerfaery). The print showcases a painting that I originally created on wood. The actual image is approximately 6.25"x9" placed on a black background making the overall piece 8.5x11, perfect for framing! Otherwise, the border along with a minor amount of image may be trimmed to fit any standard 8"x10" frame, photo album, or even pinned to the wall.

"Quan Yin has long been a symbol of compassion. Further investigation suggests that she has the ability to identify with the sorrow of another on such a level as to be effected as if it were her own; hence, her name has often been translated as "She who hears the cries of the world". She is often shown with a willow in her right hand to signify her bending yet unbreakable nature. In her left hand is a vase from which she pours compassion on the world. The lotus signifies the purity of a flower that grows from mud. It is likened to the purity of the soul that stays pure even when life gets muddy. The beads around her neck and the Buddha on her head symbolize her devotion to Buddhism and its tenets. Draped in white for purity, Quan Yin sits atop a dragon symbolizing spirituality, wisdom, strength, and divine powers of transformation. Quan Yin has many manifestations and meanings. This is just a brief outline of her nature. For me, she is a calming presence in my household!"

"Year of the Rat" (Series A) - an 8.5"x11" Fantasy PRINT

"Since visiting China, I have wanted to paint the Chinese Zodiac! I put it off for years, but now I think I am ready to begin with Series A. And what better time to begin than that of the Year of the Rat--the first sign!

For this print, a haunting girl carries a pale rat through the midnight snow. The rat is the 1st sign of the Chines zodiac. It's ruling hours are from 11pm-1am. That is why I chose to show the scene in the dead of the night. The season and month of the rat are Winter/December. The rat is associated with the gemstone garnet. So I included a garnet encrusted skull in her hair. It is also associated with the element of water; hence, the little looking pool behind the girl. And in the sky, I had the stars align to show the Chinese character for rat.

Whether you were born in the Year of the Rat, or you simply enjoy rats or gothic art, this will make a great addition to an collection!"
