In order to get the chopsticks a vibrant red I first printed them in white and then over with red. There are edges of white here and there. Some of us find this charming.

Civilian Defense Pocket Blank Book

After the bombing of Pearl Harbor the US was pretty terrified of the war crossing the ocean. I found an eerily contemporary book from 1941 titled "What The Citizen Should Know About Civilian Defense" that prepared the average Joe how to handle the coming invasion.

This blank book features the CD logo in sparkly blue on maroon textured card stock. Inside there are 40 pages of white Capitol Bond (25% cotton, 50% recycled) paper. Very nice indeed. The compact size (approximately 4" X 5") makes it perfect to carry in your inside pocket or purse to write down any suspicious behavior you may encounter.
