They might look big and chunky, but they're actually very lightweight! Bright aluminum is a shiny, bright metal that doesn't rust, tarnish, or form a patina. It weighs much much less than steel or sterling silver.

Each of the colored rings were closed by hand with the utmost care. I use only the highest quality saw cut rings, which means the ends sit perfectly flush together. The rings are made of anodized aluminum, which is very lightweight.

The silver charm is made of shiny bright aluminum. It is curved, so on one side, it acts like a tiny matte mirror reflecting back the colors of the rings. On the other, the rings are shielded from view.

Blue and Turquoise Harvest Moon Chainmail Necklace - Free Shipping

A medium-dark blue color and a turquoise shade of blue alternate with silver-tone aluminum rings to form four-ring units in this handwoven chainmaille necklace. The chainmail pattern is called "harvest moon" or "tomato sandwich", and it is pretty nifty! It's relatively wide, but still looks kind of open and lacy.

I use only the highest quality saw-cut chainmaille jump rings in my designs. Saw cut means the rings were cut with a jeweler's saw, and the edges where the rings come together are completely smooth, straight, and flush. I've got years of chainmail weaving under my belt, and I inspect each ring carefully after closing to ensure good, smooth closures. This necklace should not catch in your hair or clothes.

The entire necklace is woven of lightweight aluminum, which will never rust or tarnish. While all the metal might look really heavy, you will be pleasantly surprised with how light this necklace really is. It's a good 22 inches long and 1/2 inch wide, so it's not a shy necklace. It closes with a silver plated toggle clasp.

Gold and silver tones make up this chainmail scale maille keychain. It's woven with marquis shaped "scales" in gold tone, gold-silver tone, and silver tone. The marquis shapes are made of bright aluminum, which is super lightweight. They're woven together securely with small rings and are free to move around. The key chain make a light clinking sound as it moves.

The keychain in total measures about 3 inches long and one inch wide. The texture makes it easy to recognize by touch in the bottom of a purse. The "pointy" ends of the scales do not hurt to the standard touch. Definitely a unique kind of keychain. :)

A trio of violet colored gems are suspended from a length of handwoven chain. Tiny faceted rondelles of genuine amethyst, iolite, and labradorite have been wire wrapped in sterling silver. Copper Spiral Chainmail Bracelet

This handmade chainmaille bracelet was woven one ring at a time in a Spiral 6 in 1 chainmail weave. The rings are made of unusual half-round wire. The round side faces out so it's super smooth and easy to wear, a round tube that slides around effortlessly on your wrist. The most important part about the half-round wire is that it locks the spiral in place. Some spiral chainmail patterns require you to "wind them up" and clasp the chain so the spiral stays secure. In this bracelet, the spiral is always there and never comes undone. It requires no special clasping. Nice and easy. :) The "5 in 1" part of Spiral 6 in 1 means that each ring goes through six others.

The rings are made out of pure, solid copper. It will arrive to you just as bright and shiny as the pictures, but keep in mind that copper forms a deep, rich chocolate brown patina over time. You can choose to clean the bracelet with any commercial copper/brass cleaner if you'd prefer the look of shiny copper. Sterling and Pearls Chainmail Necklace - Free Shipping

Genuine freshwater pearls have been securely wire wrapped in sterling silver. They were then woven into this necklace, dangling from the sterling silver chainmaille points, and connecting everything together.

There are two different sizes of solid sterling jump rings used in this piece. The larger size composes the maille points, and connects the side pearl chains together. The smaller size rings are teeny tiny. They are used to connect the pearls in between the chainmail points. Each one of them was opened, woven around others, and then closed by hand.

There is one large maille point in the center, with four smaller points (two on either side). The rest of the chain to connect around the back alternates more fresh water pearls and sterling silver rings.

The potato shaped pearls are very lovely and about 5mm in diameter. The sterling silver lobster clasp is stamped 925.

This necklace is elegance personified. Every girl's got (or should have!) a normal strand of pearls. Now you can update your pearls with a more modern, contemporary look. At the shortest, this necklace is 16.5 inches long to fit like a choker at the base of the neck. It comes with an extender chain built in to extend to 18.25 inches long for a more loose fit.

Argentium Sterling Silver Half Persian Extra Chainmail Bracelet - Free Shipping

This is wonderfully thick, heavy weight chainmaille bracelet woven in shiny Argentium sterling silver.

Each ring in the bracelet was opened, woven, and closed by hand to create this interesting, complex looking chainmaille pattern. This weave is called Half Persian 3 in 1 extra. I've made the traditional Half Persian weave, and added extra rings going down the middle. This gives it more weight, a much more complex look, and make it much more stable and strong. A sterling lobster clasp (stamped 925) holds everything together securely.

Argentium sterling silver is a relatively new alloy, known best for its resistance to tarnish. The traditional sterling silver alloy is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Argentium silver replaces some of the copper with the element Germanium. It is still 92.5% pure silver, and therefore retains the Sterling Silver name. It is highly tarnish resistant, and in general people that are sensitive to metals that can wear traditional sterling silver have no sensitivities to Argentium sterling silver. Argentium is a registered trademark.

This bracelet would be suitable for a man or a women. It is 7/16 inch (1.11 cm) wide, and is currently 8 inches (20.32 cm) long. If possible, please take a wrist measurement before ordering and put your measurement in the notes to seller upon checkout. I will adjust the bracelet length to fit you or your loved one perfectly for no additional charge.

Tumbling (in the jewelry sense) is when a jewelry artists puts the finished jewelry piece in a tumbler (a tool that rotates) with stainless steel pellets and a burnishing compound. The jewelry pieces is then rotated in the steel pellets for sometimes hours at a time. Tumbling shines and smooths metals beautifully, and also increases the strength and hardness of a piece. Think of sea glass or river rocks being slowly turned smooth by water and sand running over them. Tumbling jewelry is the same concept, but in modern, containable form. This bracelet will be re-tumbled just prior to shipment to ensure you get a high quality, beautiful piece of jewelry when it arrives.

Yes, you read right. These stitch markers are STRETCHY. The black rings are made of an industrial and strong kind of rubber band, which allows you to use these markers on lots of sizes of needles. Unstretched, they will fit up to a size US 9 knitting needle. You can, however, stretch them and roll them on up your needles all the way up to size US 17!

The colored metal is anodized aluminum, which is very lightweight so it won't weigh down your knitting. You get the set of six: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple. Yes, it's true! This is a cowl aka neckwarmer aka scarflette aka buff aka snood made of chainmail. Each ring in this design was individually opened by hand, woven around the others, and closed by hand by me. Hours of work went into it.

Now you can be the hippest hipster on your block (or on your blog?) with this totally awesome chainmaille cowl. It's a good 3.25 inches wide, and you can wear it a few different ways. You can wear it nice and loose so it folds over, or fold it neatly in half for a wide, chunky necklace look. Can also be worn as a big, really loose headband.

There is no clasp, it's just one solid loop of metal. It's made to fit any size (it even fits over my boyfriend's big ol' head).

It's made of shiny, bright aluminum, so it's a LOT more lightweight than you would first imagine (1/3 the weight of steel). It's 130 grams, which is .28 lbs. Yes, it weighs about 1/4 pound. :)

Not recommended for below freezing temperatures.

It's easy to maintain. Before each use, do a quick wash with dish soap and water. This will keep your clothes clean so you do not get any rub-off. Aluminum will never rust or tarnish. I use only the highest quality saw cut rings, and I've had years of experience closing tiny rings as such. I take the utmost care to close each ring so the ends are perfectly flush together. These markers should not snag on your knitting at all.

Each one of the solid sterling (.925) rings in this necklace was opened, woven around others, and then closed by hand. Hundreds of rings were used. The gridlock byzantine weave of chainmail is very intricate looking and substantial. This bracelet is a great break from my typical chainmaille.

Here's what it's comprised of! A thick, handwoven base chain. This chain is made of thick gauge rings with a small diameter so nothing comes apart.
A silver-toned old-fashioned key charm was added to every other link, spiraling around the base chain so the keys always fall all over, never leaning just to one side.

Then, the best part! I added soft flashes of rose pink, deep orchid purple, and subtle gold rings to each ring in the base chain. Rather time intensive, but I just LOVE the result! Extra Chunky European Chainmail Bracelet - Free Worldwide Shipping

This handmade chainmaille bracelet was woven with especially thick, chunk rings for a heavy, substantial look. The rings in the middle three rows are made of 14 gauge wire, in just the right size to create a nice dense sheet. Most chainmail woven in this European pattern is very "open" looking, but this ring size keeps it nice and compacted. Smaller 18 gauge rings edge the bracelet, adding width and a slightly lacy look. It is a full inch wide.

The silver colored rings are made of bright aluminum, which is nice and lightweight. While this bracelet LOOKS very heavy, you will be pleasantly surprised with how super lightweight it is. The whole thing weighs 23.8 grams, the weight of about four US quarters. Bright aluminum never rusts or tarnishes, and washes up very easily with standard dish soap and water you ever want to wash it.

Whenever possible, I use the highest quality saw cut rings in my jewelry. Saw cut rings are preferable to lower quality machine cut rings because the ends can come together nice and flush. There are no rough gaps at the closures of the rings. This bracelet uses exclusively saw cut metal rings.

A silver plated lobster clasp keeps it closed very securely. It's currently 7.5 inches long to fit most women, but size adjustments can be made. Just send me a message. :)

Glow in the Dark Nova Pendant - Free Shipping

Introducing to the world: Nova pendants! These little units are my own unique invention/design. They're one large metal ring that's covered in folded rubber rings, which are secured by smaller metal rings.

This one has 8 "spikes" of silver, with blue rubber surrounding a large silver ring. The outer "spike" rings are large enough to easily string most conventional chains through, with one ring set being slightly larger than the others so you know where to hang it.

The best part about this pendant? Those blue rings glow in the dark! They are also UV reactive, so they glow under a black light. Tip! You can use a black light to instantly fully charge the glow in the dark properties of this pendant. Hold it under a black light for a few seconds on each side and it will glow super bright. The way the non-glowing metal rings are positioned make it look just like a glowing snowflake. Great layering necklace.

These stitch markers are handmade with the upscale knitter in mind. Anyone can use a cheap rubber band as a stitch marker in their knitting work, but a classy knitter wants something with style. Luxe Markers are made by hand of high quality materials, such as solid sterling silver wire, and each set features different lovely gemstones.

This set is made with pearls and Swarovski crystals for the elegant knitter. This set of six includes three clear Swarovski crystallized elements in a bicone shape, two rice pearls, and one potato pearl. The larger potato shaped pearl is a "key" marker, easily recognizable from the others, which is useful for marking the beginning of a new row or pattern.

This absolutely gorgeous bracelet is one of the most comfortable, flexible, fluid, and unique pieces of jewelry that you will ever own. Each one of the solid sterling (.925) rings in this bracelet was opened, woven around others, and then closed by hand.

The dragonscale weave of chainmaille is one of the most dense patterns. Hundreds of rings were used in the making of this bracelet, which took several hours. Holding this bracelet in your hands and feeling its slinkiness, it almost seems to flow right through your fingers. You would never have imagined metal could be this much like a liquid.

It is closed with a sterling silver tube clasp so what you see most is the chain. There is not a large gap in between the clasp and the edge of the bracelet. Just a nice, smooth join.

Tiny solid sterling silver jump rings were individually opened, woven, and closed to create this gorgeous understated chainmaille necklace.

Sometimes, you just need a basic, elegant necklace that will go with everything. If you're wearing show stopping earrings and a bright shade of lipstick, the last thing you need is a necklace that will compete with everything else you've already got going on. You need something that is simple, but still simply amazing.

That is where this necklace comes in! Woven in bright, shiny sterling silver, it will complement most outfits well (especially "cool toned" ensembles).

Jens Pend Linkage is a pretty spiral weave of chainmaille. It has to be woven with JUST the right size of ring, with the smallest inner diameter to wire gauge ratio that most maillers use in any project. This necklace is woven with 22 gauge rings, which are TINY. The tight weave is very stable.

From a distance, it looks like a basic chain, but when your friends get closer and get a good look, they will be amazed to learn that your necklace was handmade. Yes, I really wove each ring one at a time! It is very fluid and flexible.

Each ring in this bracelet was opened, woven around others, and closed by hand. It's called Four in One because each ring in this bracelet goes through four others using Persian style chainmail connections. It has a very smooth, slinky feel. Shiny sterling silver contrasts with varying shades of violet niobium in this handmade chainmaille bracelet. All the silver is solid sterling silver which has been tumble polished for ultimate shine and durability. The purple rings are niobium, which is a relatively new metal to the jewelry scene. It's hypoallergenic, so you'll be able to wear this metal if you're allergic to others. The shades of purple vary slightly from ring to ring for a lovely organic feel.

Each ring has been opened, woven into other rings, and closed by hand. It is a time-consuming process, but the results are amazing. The weave is called "Helm" or "Parallel Chain" because there are two rows of rings that run parallel to each other, only connected by the middle horizontal rings, not each other. This delightfully unbalanced, asymmetrical necklace has varying lengths and thicknesses of handwoven chain.

Lovely robin's egg blue beads were individually added to rings in a 5 inch section in the front of the necklace, two per bead. A chain of large, open rings connect to these, and two different sizes of chain connect around to the silver plated toggle clasp.

In each section of chain, the rings were opened, connected, and closed one at a time by hand. The silver tone rings are made of bright aluminum, which is very shiny while being nice and lightweight, so this necklace won't weigh you down.

This pendant is made of two different metals: Classic bright sterling silver, as well as lightweight, strong anodized titanium.

The sterling silver jump rings used in this necklace are solid (not plated) .925 sterling silver.

The flower is ever so slightly flexible, and the rings all rotate, so it makes for a fun pendant to run your fingers over. Pendant is 7/8 inch in diameter, about as big as a US quarter.

Each ring in this design was woven one at a time by hand into the Jens Pend Linkage pattern of chainmaille. These rings are just gorgeous. Electric Blue Tetra Earrings - Free Worldwide Shipping

These earrings steal the show. They really do. They are just gorgeous. So many components to tell you about! Let's start at the bottom and work our way up. :)

A large chalcedony teardrop shaped bead dangles from a sterling wirewrap. The stone seems to almost glow from within. I've had quite the fixation with chalcedony recently. This set is an electric robin's egg blue color. It reminds me so much of the flashy blue stripe on the neon tetra fish, hence the name. The stones are faceted so they sparkle. Just beautiful.

They're wrapped in thin sterling silver which has been oxidized to a dark, antiqued color. In front of the wrap are three garnets so dark they are opaque black. Each garnet is perched atop a sterling silver ball headpin. This sterling is bright and shiny. It contrasts so well with the dark chainmail above.

Just above the garnets is a bit of handwoven chainmaille. It's also sterling silver, and it has been oxidized to a dark grey color. Each of the small rings was opened, woven, and closed by hand. They're woven into the byzantine weave of maille.

The chainmail is attached to bright shiny sterling earwires. These are handmade, and are shaped into a big round shape. Very contemporary.

Overall, these earrings have been lovingly handcrafted and will last a lifetime. They are one of a kind and will not be recreated once they sell.

Sterling Wrapped Eudialyte Pendant - Free Worldwide Shipping

This is just an amazingly gorgeous pendant. The pink and black stone is called eudialyte or eudialite, which is a relatively rare stone from Russia. It's just so pretty. I love all things pink, so to find this naturally pink stone was fabulous. It's got streaks of black and clear in the pink (see pics). It is SO amazing in person. The front is smooth, rounded, and polished shiny, while the back is a flat matte. The stone weighs in at a full 43.05 carats. Nice and large. It's a rectangular shape that gets wider as it goes down, and the stone itself not including the maille is 33.5 x 22.2 mm.

I've taken this exquisite stone and wrapped it in handmade sterling silver chain. This chain was woven by me, one link at a time, and the ends were connected together. Rich, warm copper contrasts beautifully with bright sterling silver in this chainmaille bracelet. As with all bracelets in my store, each one of these tiny rings was opened, woven, and closed by hand, one at a time.

This pattern of chainmail is rather unique. It's the viperscale weave, but I've added smaller rings to really pull everything together. This is a dense pattern, and it took many hours to weave it together.

The bracelet is reversible. The "front" side is striped! It's got copper alternating with silver in thin stripes down the whole bracelet. The reverse is a wonderful mish-mash of colors, everything jumbled up but still harmonious.

The oversized statement clasp is an S-hook clasp handmade by me. The copper hook links securely into a large solid sterling silver ring.

This bracelet has been tumble polished for ultimate shine and durability, and will be retumbled before shipment to ensure you get a gorgeous piece of jewelry.

Extra teeny tiny rings were woven one at a time to make up the main fan section of these earrings, which are wonderfully handmade. Each small ring is only 5/64 inch across, and they're made of 24 gauge wire to create a superfine mesh.

I hammered the ends of the sterling ball head pins to create a small, flat, round shape under each bead. These beads are just gorgeous. Genuine bright pink mystic topaz. The gems flash bright gold when they sparkle. Just gorgeous.

This bracelet is really something else. It's made with lots of red colored aluminum marquise shaped "scales" woven together by hand to achieve a wicked spiky look. Orbis is Latin for "round" or "circle", which describes these earrings perfectly. I've made these earrings out of many many circles woven together into another circular shape. Each ring was opened, woven, and closed one at a time.

14 karat rose gold filled rings alternate with solid sterling silver rings in this design. I love the warm look of rose gold, and am happy to add it to my jewelry line.

The rings have been woven into a slightly off-round flower shape. The chainmaille weave is intricate and very beautiful. Each earring is approximately 20 mm in diameter, which is about the size of a US nickel/five cent coin.

Stretchy GSG Chainmail Bracelet in Black and Silver - Free Worldwide Shipping

This is such a super awesome stretchy bracelet in a silver and black colorway. It's made in the GSG weave, which you will see a stretchy version of very rarely. I'm happy to bring it to you! It's a fun challenge for me to take standard chainmaille weaves and figure out how to make them in stretchy form. The fact that the stretchy rubber rings cannot be opened means that the metal rings have to be woven in a completely different manner than they normally would be. I had a good time figuring out this weave to bring it to you. :)

The silver colored rings are made of bright aluminum, which is nice and lightweight. Bright aluminum never rusts or tarnishes, and washes up very easily with standard dish soap you ever want to wash it. Whenever possible, I use the highest quality saw cut rings in my jewelry. Saw cut rings are preferable to lower quality machine cut rings because the ends can come together nice and flush. There are no rough gaps at the closures of the rings. This bracelet uses exclusively saw cut metal rings.

The black rings are stretchy EPDM rubber. The amount of rubber rings in this bracelet (half) and the way the design is woven makes this bracelet nice and soft and flexible and it's able to stretch a bit more than other designs.

This one's about 7 inches long and should fit most people comfortably, being as it's stretchy and all. It is one of the most comfortable stretchy bracelets in my shop.

JPL Spiral Chainmail Necklace - Free Worldwide Shipping

JPL stands for Jens Pind Linkage, which is a great little chainmaille pattern. It is a spiral that keeps its shape. It has to be woven with a very specific ring size, or else the pattern will just fall apart. I happen to have used just the right ring size here to create this necklace.

It is superbly flexible, and so lightweight it is almost unbelievable. You'll put it on in the morning and won't remember you're wearing it until someone compliments you on it. It is a great base chain that can be worn layered with other necklaces. It's a bit thick to hang most pendants from, unless they have a relatively large bail/connecting ring or they are just large rings themselves (like a wedding ring, for example).

It's a great every day necklace that goes well with everything. It's 3/8 inch thick. All the rings rotate freely, so the necklace feels great to just run through your fingers and fiddle with. I know you'll love it! Currently sized at 15 3/4 inches long, but size adjustments can be made.

A trio of tiny faceted green aventurine gems are suspended from a length of handwoven chain. Each rondelle has been wire wrapped in sterling silver. Each solid sterling silver ring in this design was opened, woven, and closed one at a time by hand. The earrings were then tumble polished to ensure durability, and to bring out the superb shine of the silver.

A trio of tiny faceted carnelian gems are suspended from a length of handwoven chain. Each rondelle has been wire wrapped in sterling silver. Each solid sterling silver ring in this design was opened, woven, and closed one at a time by hand. The earrings were then tumble polished to ensure durability, and to bring out the superb shine of the silver.

Also available in a purple gem mix and green aventurine (see last picture). This listing is for one pair of earrings only.

Sterling Silver Tetra Orb Chainmail Earrings - Free Worldwide Shipping

A tetra orb is composed of solid sterling silver jump rings, each woven together by hand. This is a slightly difficult unit to put together, and the ring size has to be just right or the whole thing doesn't support itself. Luckily I know just what that ring size is, and it's a small enough size to hang delicately from an earring.

These hang from an inch of sterling silver chain. This gives the earrings lots of room to sway. Chain can be shortened for no extra fee if you'd like a more stationary earring.

The Sterling Tetra Orb earrings are very lightweight as well. 3.7 grams for the pair means that together, they weigh less than a US nickel.

Sterling earwires as well make for all sterling components.
