Hand dyed wool and icicle in pretty pink, yellow, and blue. Each carded once, then layered on the second pass through the drum to create optical blending of green, purple, and orange....the yarn you spin will marl in these areas.

Contains:
Domestic Wool (from Brown Sheep)
A bit of Mohair (I took most out, but there's bound to be a hair or so)
Firestar (also known as Trilobal Nylon, or Icicle)

Hand dyed with professional acid dye.

Carded on my Fancy Kitty Big Tom drum carder.

This batt is 36" long, 8.5" wide, and 2.8 ounces.

Suitable for spinning or felting.

This particular wool blend tends to stick together....you can spin a thin yarn with some effort, but you and the wool will be happiest with something thicker.

Eye of the Tiger - Hand Dyed Superwash Merino Sock Knitting Yarn

Tiger eye tones of gold and brown make up this rich yarn!

The base yarn is touted as "the perfect sock yarn", and is a three ply Superwash Merino and nylon blend (80/20%), milled right here in the USA. It is delightfully soft, and the nylon makes it durable. This is a slightly thicker fingering yarn, and creates great stitch definition.

I have hand painted this yarn with professional acid dyes for long lasting intense colors. The method I used for this yarn is 'Chaos' dyeing, so the ombre is random instead of a regular pooling pattern. The yarn will create a lovely mosaic of color.

420 yards, 100 grams, gauge is 6.75-8 st = 1" on #1-3 needles. Can Machine Wash, dry flat. I can wind this into a ball for you upon request.

Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water...the 4 elements are inspiration for this lush line of silk and wool yarns.

Earth contains many shades of brown, some leaning red, some leaning yellow. This yarn was randomly dyed, for minimal pooling or flashing. The silk lends the yarn both its softness and strength, for a truly long lasting luxury garment.

Hand dyed with professional acid dyes.

70% Merino Wool
30% Silk
Gauge 7-8 Stitches = 1" on #1-3 needles
440y, 100g
Yarn made in Peru

I can wind this into a center pull ball upon request.
