Ndebele/Herringbone and Peyote stitched choker

The Earth's Mirror is a Herringbone/Ndebele bead stitched choker length necklace, doubled strands have been twisted together, in varying shades of browns Czech glass seed beads.

The clasp is of a strand of Czech glass seed beads as the loop, and a peyote stitched toggle, binding the twisting strands of the choker in place as well as providing a loop and toggle.

The pendant is a crackled brown glass topped ceramic tile that has been peyote stitched around in varying shades of brown iris Czech Glass seed beads, and Matsuno beads in bronze. It has been backed with soft moss green suede and peyote bead stitched along the edges for durability.

It is attached to the choker with double strands of Matsuno beads in bronze, triple threaded with 8lb FireLIne for strength.

This entire piece was carefully hand beadwoven using 8lb FireLine for strength and durability.

The Earth's Mirror is a substantial, yet still light piece. Subtle, yet eyecatching!

Ley Lines are believed to be lines of pure energy that run in a straight path through and across the earth. The places they intersect are considered to be 'nodes' of great power and it is believed that ancient peoples often built ceremonial monuments on these locations. One such example is believed to be Stonehenge.

Ley Lines is a single drop peyote stitch bracelet in frosted, silver lined green seed beads. It features intersecting lines in varying colors, also in seed beads, with a variety of finishes, ranging from matte green to metallic silver.

The clasp is a simple burnished copper glass 'Druk' (round) bead on top of a metallic green 'Druk' (round bead, and uses a loop of matte green seed beads to close securely around your wrist.

The simple, yet elegant design is understated enough to be worn everyday, and delicatye enough to be worn with evening attire as well.

This gorgeous scarf is carefully hand dyed, using Procion MX dyes for longevity. The photographs do not do the rich tones of the colors justice. Prevailing colors are burgandy, cranberry, rose red, golden yellow, cream, deep green, hints of blue and possibly purples and brown/rusts.

This silk scarf has been hand stenciled with Lumiere metallic paints, with an Akita dog stencil. Each scarf was then hand signed, marked with the year, the Limited Edition Run number and the scarf number within that Limited Run, with metallic paint.

Due to the hand dyeing methods used, each scarf is different, varying in tones, and even sometimes colorations, despite the same Procion MX dyes being used on each. This creates a completely unique piece.

Silk Charmeuse is sleek and supple, ultra shiney on the one side, matte finished on the reverse, with just the right amount of weight to it to tell the wearer it's there, without feeling weighted down. Suitable for a neck wrap or even as a stylish belt.

Each scarf comes with a certificate, signed by the Artist, with the Limited Run number and number within the run.

50% of the proceeds of each Dante-Inu Memorial Scarf sold, including s/h, will be donated to Akita Rescue in Dante-Inu's name. Your purchase enables these wonderful Akita Rescue groups to continue the wonderful work they are doing for the breed.

The clasp is of two twisted strands of Czech glass seed beads as the loop, and a peyote stitched toggle, binding the twisting strands in place as well as providing a loop and toggle.

The pendant is a crackled red glass topped ceramic tile that has been peyote stitched around in varying shades of yellow, orange and red Czech Glass seed beads, and Czech glass Siam Ruby red drops. It has been backed with soft moss green suede and netweave bead stitched along the edges for durability.

It is attached to the choker with double strands of Czech glass seed beads in a fiery mix with 2 Copper Celtic knotwork accent beads.

Snow Garden Waltz,beadwork necklace

'Snow Garden Waltz' is a freeform netweave stitch hand beaded off of a handbeaded spiral rope chain necklace, comprised of glass iridescent clear seed beads, various shades of blue seed beads, and Delicas, Czech pressed glass cobalt leaves, Czech glass cobalt rosebud beads, Czech glass cobalt rose beads, clear glass Druks, cobalt glass Druks, crystal faceted Rondelles and three hand made Lampwork 'Snowball' beads.

If you look closely, you can see varying sizes of Huichol BeadLace 'snowflakes' or 'stars' scattered throughout the netting.

It does not lay flat, it flows, curves and is very organic in form and shape. It's not heavy, per se, but it has some slight weight to it, that lets you know it is definately there.

The lampwork 'snowballs' catch the light and shimmer slightly, the clear Druks and faceted clear rondelles are crystalline pieces of ice, the iridescent clear beads reflect the light in a rainbow of colors, like bits of ice, and the cobalt roses, leaves, Druks and beads absorb the light, bringing a touch of cold to the piece, all with hints of varying shades of blues scattered throughout.

The clasp is a silver tone metal hook style clasp in a Leaf and scroll shape. All hand beaded on 10lb test weight FireLine.

This piece is approximately 19" in length at the top, and 5.75" in length from center of siral rope to bottom of the netting at the front.
