I had my original digital illustration printed on 100% cotton fabric, and then sewed it into this pillow cover. I used a quilter's print fabric for the envelope style overlapping back. It has a generous 6 inch overlap.

This pillow cover is Machine Wash and Dry. Yes, completely machine wash and dry! Really! In fact, I prewashed it and machine dried it on hot, to shrink it as I do with all of my fabrics.

This is for the one pillow cover only. The pillow form itself is not included. If you'd like the pillow as well, convo me and I'll add it in, for an extra $8 and the actual extra shipping.

Chartreuse green is a hot color right now, and it looks sublime with pumpkin orange, burnt orange, and chocolate brown. This is one of my favorite color combinations. I am also listing a half-size runner that matches, next, which is shown in the fifth picture [Not Included in this listing].

I have been selling these at the Ann Arbor Farmer's Market for 10 years. I get LOTS of positive feedback from my regular customers about how well they wash and dry in the machine. Yes, machine wash AND dry.

These make great gifts - Christmas, wedding, housewarming, hostess, birthday, you name it. They are easy to pack on a plane to take as a present. Lots of my customers get additional sets for themselves for different seasons and holidays, too. This is a photo of a tree in the park behind my house. I drew the girl digitally, and the bird is a vintage cedar waxwing drawing, all collaged together.

This set is about super saturated, intense jewel tones. Deep plum purple, amazing, glowing blue, and a dark forest green. And the prints - a blue flower batik runs the show, supported by swirly purples and blues and watercolor-y green. Also some blue stars...all surrounding a lighter, fuchsia center. :) This can be used as a runner, but it is also all set to hang, with a hanging sleeve and a dowel rod. Just use two nails and set the dowel on them, or tie a ribbon and use a decorative hanger. I just listed a set of 4 placemats that matches this runner, also, shown in the fifth picture [Not Included in the listing].

I have been selling these at the Ann Arbor Farmer's Market for 10 years. I get LOTS of positive feedback from my regular customers about how well they wash and dry in the machine. Yes, machine wash AND dry.

These make great gifts - Christmas, wedding, housewarming, hostess, birthday, you name it. They are easy to pack on a plane to take as a present. I had my digitally-altered original photo collage printed on 100% cotton fabric, and then sewed it into this pillow cover. I used a quilter's print fabric for the envelope style overlapping back. It has a generous 6 inch overlap.

This pillow cover is Machine Wash and Dry. Yes, completely machine wash and dry! Really! In fact, I prewashed it and machine dried it on hot, to shrink it as I do with all of my fabrics.

This collage is by far my most popular image at farmer's market. It's the piece I felt most insecure about, but I just really liked it...and then people loved her. Funny how that works, isn't it? :) And then a sweet customer helped me name her.

The tree is a photograph, taken in the park behind my house. I drew Chloe. And the cedar waxwing is an antique image that I collaged in digitally. Each print will be titled and signed on the back.

Blue, beige, and green, calm and beautiful...the first time I've done this particular combination. This can be used as a runner, but it is also all set to hang, with a hanging sleeve and a dowel rod. Just use two nails and set the dowel on them, or tie a ribbon and use a decorative hanger. I just listed the matching placemats, and you can also see them in the fifth picture here. I also have full runners and napkins. :)

Santa Fe, New Mexico - Today Mothering magazine announced the winner of the International Breastfeeding Icon Design Contest. Matt Daigle, a graphic designer, stay-at-home father and self-declared Mr. Mom sent in the top icon.

The purpose of an international symbol for breastfeeding is to increase public awareness of breastfeeding, to provide an alternative to the use of the baby bottle to designate baby friendly areas in public, and to mark breastfeeding-friendly facilities.

The contest was inspired by the image of a baby bottle on a sign indicating the location of the parents' lounge in an airport. Why not develop an icon to denote that a place is breastfeeding-friendly? Symbols for no smoking, for handicapped parking and for the women's restroom are widely recognized. There is currently no internationally recognized icon for breastfeeding-friendly areas in public places. Ideally, the space would be private, quiet, with a comfortable chair and an electrical outlet for pumping

So Mothering put out a call and received an overwhelming response—more than 500 entries from both the design and breastfeeding communities. More than 120,000 votes poured in from individuals, lactation organizations, and natural family living advocates from across the globe.

The winning image will be made available worldwide (copyright-free, as a public domain image) with recommendations that it be used in workplaces, airports, malls, restaurants, conference centers, libraries, parks, sporting and entertainment arenas or any public place. Other suggested uses include marketing material by breastfeeding product manufacturers to educate new breastfeeding moms to look for the symbol.

Breastfeeding is known to have a wide range of health benefits for both baby and its mother. In order for mothers to continue to breastfeed as long as recommended and desirable, they must have comfortable, private areas in public places. There is growing acceptance of public breastfeeding but mothers still need a reliable place to feed their babies without public scrutiny.

Spring is here! The Tulip Tree is starting to bloom! The print [of my photograph] on the front is a beautiful azure blue with orange blossoms and white branches.

I had my "Tulip Tree" photograph printed on 100% cotton fabric, and then sewed it into this pillow cover. I used a quilter's print fabric for the envelope style overlapping back. It has a generous 4 inch overlap.

This pillow cover is Machine Wash and Dry. Yes, completely machine wash and dry! Really! In fact, I prewashed it and machine dried it on hot, to shrink it as I do with all of my fabrics.

This is for the one pillow cover only. The pillow form itself is not included. If you'd like the pillow as well, convo me and I'll add it in, for an extra $8 and the actual extra shipping.

This item is a photographic print mounted on a blank card. The card is 5x7, the print itself is 4 inches wide. It comes with an envelope and in a cellophane. I have handwritten my name, the year, and my web address on the back.

This print is also available as an 8x10 print, and a 16 inch pillow cover. :)

**I ship these in a manila envelope [plus the cellophane]. I figure most people would want inexpensive shipping for an inexpensive item, instead of supersafe rigid shipping. If you'd prefer I ship this as a rigid flat with more stiff cardboard, let me know *before* you purchase and I will adjust the shipping cost for you.

A shimmering blue tree sheltering a squirrel. A dreamy, magical woodland scene for your bed or sofa.

I had my digitally-altered original photo "Safe" printed on 100% cotton fabric, and then sewed it into this pillow cover. I used a quilter's print fabric for the envelope style overlapping back. It has a generous 6 inch overlap.

This pillow cover is Machine Wash and Dry. Yes, completely machine wash and dry! Really! In fact, I prewashed it and machine dried it on hot, to shrink it as I do with all of my fabrics.

This is for the one pillow cover only. The pillow form itself is not included. If you'd like the pillow as well, convo me and I'll add it in, for an extra $8 and the actual extra shipping.

It will be shipped USPS first class in a cello sleeve with an acid-free backing board in a manila envelope. I usually ship same day or next day. International orders may take an extra day as I have to travel to the post office for those.
