This white on kraft illustration of a tree silhouette is a perfect way to ease yourself into the cooler weather. I drew this tree in my own Moleskine in January while I was sitting outside among many trees, waiting for a friend.

Artist Statement:

I am fascinated by the connections we find in our everyday experiences: from the isolation of communities on the subway, to the solitary experience of introspection, to the feelings of deep communion. How do we think of our place in this world? How do we fit in it?

My work is about the levels of connectedness we feel. I paint, draw, and knit to represent moments of these feelings. We are all connected somehow.

I started this series because of my fascination with knitting, and love for painting. I am also intrigued by the community I've found online with knitters from around the world. I think about how it links me to my mother, and her mother, and all the women that came before them.

This piece measures 12” x 16” x 3.25" and was made on gallery stretched canvas. The painting is ready to hang on your wall. The sides are painted so it doesn't require framing. Roxy's Tattoo lunch bag has been hand printed so each one is unique.

Neoprene is the same material that diving suits are made of, so this lunch bag is very flexible, durable and is a great insulator. Measures: 12" [height] x 7" [width] x 4" [depth] when open, and is approx. 9" tall when closed.

The bag is grey on the outside, and black on the inside. Roxy has been printed in a dark purple. My Etched Magnolia illustration was inspired by the stained glass artwork of Louis Comfort Tiffany from an exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I love how these turned out, each one is unique and looks like an etching.

I am fascinated by the connections we find in our everyday experiences: from the isolation of communities on the subway, to the solitary experience of introspection, to the feelings of deep communion. How do we think of our place in this world? How do we fit in it?

My work is about levels of connectedness. I paint, draw, and knit to represent these moments. We are all connected somehow.

This series started because of my fascination with knitting, love for painting, and intrigue in the community I've found online with knitters from around the world. I think about how it links me to my mother, her mother, and all the generations of women who came before them.

Artist Statement:

I am fascinated by the connections we find in our everyday experiences: from the isolation of communities on the subway, to the solitary experience of introspection, to the feelings of deep communion. How do we think of our place in this world? How do we fit in it?

My work is about levels of connectedness. I paint, draw, and knit to represent these moments. We are all connected somehow.

This series started because of my fascination with knitting, love for painting, and intrigue in the community I've found online with knitters from around the world. I think about how it links me to my mother, her mother, and all the generations of women who came before them.

Artist Statement:

I am fascinated by the connections we find in our everyday experiences: from the isolation of communities on the subway, to the solitary experience of introspection, to the feelings of deep communion. How do we think of our place in this world? How do we fit in it?

My work is about levels of connectedness. I paint, draw, and knit to represent these moments. We are all connected somehow.

This series started because of my fascination with knitting, love for painting, and intrigue in the community I've found online with knitters from around the world. I think about how it links me to my mother, her mother, and all the generations of women who came before them.

This piece was designed to float on your wall. You can arrange the two connected paintings any way you like: Side by side, above each other, the possibilities are endless.

The sides of the gallery stretched canvas were painted so it won't require framing and is ready to hang on your wall.
