Guy created these four lovely ivory dotted beads in his glass bead studio. He used lots of colors for the dots. They have all been melted smooth. Each bead was made on a 3/32" mandrel and kiln annealed for strength and durability.

The measurements of the beads are as follows:

A: 33mm from hole to hole, 18mm wide at center, 9mm at one end, 11mm at other end

B: 32mm from hole to hole, 15mm wide at center, 9mm at each end

C: 28mm from hole to hole, 19mm wide at center, 9-10mm at each end

D: 34mm from hole to hole, 11mm wide at center, 10mm at each end

Handmade Glass Focal Bead

This is a really cool focal bead made by Guy in our glass bead studio. He used a pretty shade of opaque lavender along with mustard, lime green and silvered-ivory-stringer. The large pools of silver and ivory are gorgeous in between the ocher and purple.

* This handmade glass bead measures 40mm from hole to hole and is 16mm wide at the center. The ends taper off to 12mm at each end.

* Made on a 3/32" mandrel

* Kiln annealed for strength and durability.

A red tree frog sits on an adorable cobalt blue bicone bead, decorated with lots of bright colors: coral, green, white, cranberry. Leonardo is a very cute and friendly frog! Guy gave him tiny little turquoise toes, black eyes and a few lime green dots on his rump and along his shoulders. He's also got hand-pulled, rainbow cane for his thighs!

Franky the Turquoise Glass Frog Bead

This adorable cutie pie is named Franky. He is perched upon a shiny black bead and has a chubby little body made from dark opaque turquoise glass. Guy gave him little red and white dots all over his back along with light red finger and toenails. His giant googley eyes are a lot of fun. They are made from black then white on top, letting just a bit of the black peek out. Then he covered them in clear giving them a full, perky look. Franky is a lot of fun to look at!

* Franky measures 18mm from hole to hole and is 21mm wide.

Delilah is such a pretty frog. Have you ever met a pretty frog? Well now is the time! Guy created Delilah on a round, opaque periwinkle colored glass bead then added her body using a special orange glass. Her limbs are orange and periwinkle combos with light lime green for her fingers and toes. I love her green eyes which match the green dots on her rump! She will make such a special little pendant. Or use her in anything else your creative mind can come up with!

Stanley is a character! He loves to watch while all the other silly frogs are leaping around the pond. Then he makes them giggle with his own funny antics. Guy made Stanley on a shiny, black glass bead then added his plump body with pastel lime green glass. He has red and black eyes and lovely little red fingers and toes. Pair of Flat Dotted Wonderful Lampwork Glass Beads

These beads were made on a base of classic black glass. Guy shaped each one into a perfectly round shape then layered color on top of color to create these adorable pattern of circles. Each color adds more depth and interest in the beads. He used black, white and coral for all the dots. Then when he was satisfied with the pattern, he flattened them into the smooth, slim shape. Extraordinary!

* The larger bead measures 16mm from hole to hole and is 24mm wide. It is 6.5mm thick.

* The smaller bead measures 14.5mm from hole to hole and is 22mm wide. It is 8mm thick.

* Each bead was made individually on a 3/32" mandrel. This means the hole opening is approximately 3-4mm in diameter.

Groovy Set of 3 Handmade Floral Lampwork Glass Beads

These really are groovy beads! I stood behind Guy as he made them the other day. It's fascinating to watch the beads come together. For these beads he started out with a base of dark cobalt blue, though it appears as basically black unless you hold it up to the sun. I think Guy has a serious addiction to blue glass. We may need to stage an intervention at some stage. But why bother? He works well with it so let's leave it as it is! Don't mess with perfection!

So back to the beads... dark blue base then layers and layers of periwinkle blue, coral, white, clear, clear sky blue and maybe one or two more colors that you don't actually see but make up the special effect of the beads. For the larger of the three beads, he made flower patterns all around then poked each one to give it a 3D effect. Very nice technique! He uses a tungsten pick for this because if he uses any other tool, it will stick to the glass and change the way it all looks. You'll just have to visit a lampwork studio someday to watch for yourself!

* The larger bead measures 17mm from hole to hole. It is 26mm wide and took over 40 minutes in the flame to make. Amazing!

* The two smaller beads measure 13mm from hole to hole and are 20-21mm wide.

* Each bead is made using Italian Effetre glass

* These beads were made on 3/32" mandrels which means the hole opening is approximately 3-4mm in diamter

* Made with care in our lampwork studio and digitally kiln annealed for extra strength and durability

These beads work wonderfully in jewelry combined with all kinds of interesting components such as silver, Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones and Hill Tribe charms. Of course you could also use these beads to create your own home decor or as focals in your own knitting... the creative uses go on and on and on!

Joanie is so cute! She is perched upon a clear, dark cobalt blue bead which Guy melted tiny red dots into. Joanie has a plump, pastel lime green body and matching limbs. Here tiny hands and feet are festooned with orange nails. Guy gave her adorable eyes made from layers of black and clear green. She looks different from every angle - just like all of us! Joanie was made from colored Italian glass rods in our lampwork studio. She was made on a mandrel measuring 3/32" in diameter which means that the bead hole has an opening of approximately 3-4mm. Guy created Megan in our glass bead studio from colored rods of Italian made glass. He used pastel lime green for her adorable little body and perched her on clear, dark cobalt blue bead which he shaped into a nice barrel shape. She has simple legs and arms and no fingernail polish! But she's okay with that. She knows that her eyes make her very special. Guy used black for the base and layered each eye with a very soft, light blue then covered them both in clear. She's just perfect!

Navy Blue Flat Focal Beads with Handmade Cane Pair of Two

Guy created these nifty blue beads with a lots of different colors. He started out by making his own hand-pulled cane using blue, red, clear, and white. He wrapped it around each clear purple bead and shaped the bead into a bicone before carefully taking it from a round shape to a flat shape. He added dots of copper green, light turquiose and lime green to each bead.

* The are made on 3/32" mandrels so the opening of the hole is approximately 2mm in diameter

* One bead measures 32mm from hole to hole, is 10mm thick and 30mm wide

* The other bead measures 32mm from hole to hole, is 9mm thick and 25mm wide.

Orange and Turquoise Focal Glass Bicone Bead

This is a gorgeous glass bead that will make an eye-catching focal for your favorite necklace. Guy created it with a special yellow-orange glass. He spent time forming the glass into this smooth, bi-cone shape then added a band of copper green to the middle. On top of the band he added a random pattern of clear dark brown dots. The way the colors combine is fabulous! The dots were melted smooth and finished off with some extra flame annealing for shine and strength.

* This bead was made on a 3/32" mandrel

* It measures 42mm from hole to hole and is 15mm wide at the center

* It tapers off to 10mm wide at each end.

* Kiln annealed for added strength and durability

* Made from Italian Effetre glass rods using a Hell Cat torch, oxygen, propane and lots of dexterity! :)

Freddy is just delicious! He's the kind of frog you'd want to hang around with all day long. He's got a lovely turquoise body with groovy little golden brown dots along his arms and back. Guy used hand-pulled cane from lots of blue/red tones for the legs and created Freddy resting on a huge, clear blue toned bead. Lots of wonderful colors and technique in this little boy!

* Freddy measures 22mm long and the entire pendant measures 50mm tall

* The frog is wire wrapped on 22 gauge sterling silver with a spiral motif at the bottom

* Cobalt blue seed beads to keep him company

Salmon Blue and Purple Set of SEVEN Organic Handmade Glass Beads

These coral, blue and purple themed beads remind me a lot of nature. It's true they are not your typical colors found in nature but over the summer, I've spotted more and more of these colors in the fields and meadows that I pass through. Guy made these the other night - at 4am to be exact! Sometimes if you can't sleep - making beads is a great alternative!

* This set consists of two disk beads measuring 6mm from hole to hole and 17-88mm wide.

* Their are also two smaller, flat beads which are primarily salmon with purple/blue. They measure 10-11mm from hole to hole and are 7mm thick, 17mm wide.

* Then we get to the two, unique flat beads. The one that is based in a very light clear blue with decorations of white, purple and coral measures 26mm from hole to hole, 18mm wide, 7mm thick.

* The darker, flat bead started out with a darker shade of light purple and has decorations in coral, purple, black and light blue. Their are a few swirls in that bead, too. So pretty!

* The last bead is the round and it started out with a white base which Guy encased in very light, clear blue. Then he addedg a nice pattern of big and small dots in coral, black and white. Underneath those dots is one, continuous line of opaque periwinkle blue wrapping all the way around the bead in blue. This bead measures 11mm from hole to hole and is 18mm wide.

* Each bead was made by Guy in our glass bead studio and kiln annealed for added strength and durability.

Purple Coral Mango Copper Green Set of EIGHT handmade glass beads

Guy used a clear, dark purple for the base of these beads though it looks pretty black unless you hold it up to the light. Then he wrapped three lines of coral mango around each bead. On top of that he added dots of opaque periwinkle, copper green and clear. And of course you can guess the next move he made: he smooshed them! Into lovely, smooth shapes. Perfect for bracelets or a nice, chunky and funky necklace. These are so pretty in person! Photoshop kept wanting to turn my photos more green but in person I don't think the green dominates the beads.

* These eight beads measures roughly the same size, however, one or two are a bit smaller/bigger. So to summarize: the larger ones are 22-24mm from hole to hole and 21-24mm wide. The smaller one is 19mm from hole to hole and 20mm wide.

* All beads have been handmade by Guy in our glass bead studio

* He uses Effetre glass imported from Italy

* Made on 3/32" mandrels

* Kiln annealed in our digitally controlled kiln for added strength and durability

Bernie is perched on a really cool looking bead: it's black with swirls of baby blue around it and it's all encased in clear. Bernie seems to like it! The frog is pastel lime green and he's wire wrapped on fine silver wire with a fancy spiral at the bottom. I added a few cobablt blue seed beads to match his cobalt blue eyes, fingers and toes along with gold plated daisy spacers. A very unique and cute froggy pendant! Made with care here in our lampwork studio.

Madge is a lovely pastel lime green frog resting peacefully on a clear dark purple glass bead. She's got a gorgeous Hill Tribe silver flower charm dangling from beneath and lovely clear mint green semiprecious stones keeping her company on the fine silver pendant. Madge has lovely big clear, white and light purple eyes. She's even got a dab of minty green in there which works nicely with the necklace and the stones.

These beads have a special touch of silver foil in them in case you're wondering what that is in the ivory. Guy used a gorgeous shade of coral glass along with light purple and blues, ivory and silvered ivory. Makes them extra sparkly! Aren't these beads wonderful?! Guy made them from a special moss green colored glass rod. He shaped them into a nice, slim form and made them extra shiny from the flame. I wire wrapped them with fine silver and added chocolate Swarovski stones for extra bling. I love how they turned out! I also added small sterling silver daisy charms to the bottom of each. Set of FIVE clear topaz hollow lampwork beads

This lovely set of FIVE clear topaz hollow lampwork beads are a great supply to have in your stash! They work well in funky necklaces, bracelets and maybe even earrings - if you can handle the size! This lovely shade of light brown - golden mustard glass is really cool.

Guy created these in the flame of his lampwork torch on mandrels which measure 3/32". He used some opaque mustard as lines on three of them which I think you can see in the photographs. Each bead has different measurements so I included a ruler in some of the photos. The smallest bead is 11mm from hole to hole and 19mm wide. The largest bead is 21mm from hole to hole and 30mm wide.

This is a very pretty bracelet made with four of Guy's handmade glass beads (lampwork), Bali silver and freshwater pearls. It closes simply and securely with a sterling silver lobster clasp. This unique bracelet measures 8 inches long with an extra inch of sterling chain to make it adjustable for many sized wrists. The three smaller glass beads are made from clear glass with dots of light ivory and light turquoise. The larger glass bead is made from opaque and transparent light turquoise. Purple and Green Lampwork Bracelet with Fine Silver Medallion

I've been wanting to use this gorgeous Hill Tribe silver medallion for some time and finally found the beads that suit it. In my opinion anyways! Guy made these six lampwork (glass) beads in his studio this week from a base of black glass and added tones of green and purple. On two of the smaller glass beads, he also rolled them in silver foil so they have a nice, sparkly effect. This sterling silver wire wrapped bracelet measures nine inches long in total, but the last inch or so is for the adjustable chain link - making it so this bracelet will fit a number of wrist sizes. Any extra chain you have left over will dangle sweetly from your wrist.

All beads have been made one by one in our glass bead studio and kiln annealed for added strength and durability. We are proud of our collaborative work and hope you love each piece! Festive Coral, Turquoise and Purple Glass Bead Bracelet

This handmade bracelet is made up from a very fun group of beads which Guy made in his lampwork studio this week. He had a lot of fun making them, can't you tell?! They started out with a special coral colored glass which he decorated with dark turquiose, black, silvered plum and more coral. I wire wrapped each one along with dark purple seed beads on sterling silver to make this neat linked bracelet. Because the beads are flat, it makes them slide gracefully over your wrist. It measures a total of 8.5 inches with an adjustable ending so it can fit almost any sized wrist. Each bead measures approximately 10mm from hole to hole and are 18 - 20mm wide.

Each bead has been made by hand in our glass bead studio. They have been kiln annealed for added strength and durability and cleaned carefully before assembly. Set of FIVE funky hollow mustard lampwork glass beads

This set of FIVE glass beads will have you wondering, are they hollow? Yes! They are! The fun thing about opaque hollow beads is you get the effect of a large bead without the heaviness of it. Guy created each on on 3/32" mandrels in his glass bead studio from opaque ocher (mustard) glass. They look like little planets close up!

He used clear topaz glass for the dots on the outer edges and left each bead a little rough, meaning he didn't smooth out each layer of glass. I think it gives it a nice, organic effect. The smallest of these hollow beads measures 15mm from hole to hole and 22mm wide. The larges bead measures 17mm from hole to hole and 39mm wide. A great supply for your own stash of artisan lampwork!

Nelson is a cuddly little froggy! He'll be your best buddy no matter what you do with him - make him into a necklace, set him by your computer or carry him around in your pocket! He's got no rules. He's got lovely red fingers and toes and clear green marking dots on his back. His lovely two-toned eyes will make you sing!

Harry is a chipper lil fella! He'll crack you up with his tales from the creek. Or crick if you're from the south! Guy created Harry on a black bead and used a dark turquoise blue for his body. So cute! He's got little purple legs and red fingers and toes. His eyes are nice and big with a generous dollop of clear so he can see you better.

Harry measures 19mm from hole to hole and is 22mm wide. He has been kiln annealed for added strength and durability. The minute you look at Izzy's bright big eyes you will be smitten with her. She's simply irresistible! She feels very special with her cobalt blue body and groovy little bead. Every so often Guy creates these crazy beads with a bead inside! It's fascinating to watch him trap that little glass bead inside a larger hollow bead. And they make a nice little melody when you play with them! For this pair - he used opaque lime green for the inside bead and bright clear blue for the hollow. Very fun to have!

Hi there! These spectacular beads were made one by one in our glass bead workshop/studio/laboratory by my lovely husband, Guy Melamed. He used a base of light taupe for these then added layers of dots in sky blue, cobalt blue and clear light turquoise blue. After melting all the dots down flat, he used his giant masher tool to squish each bead into a cool, flat tab shape. This nice form allows for lots of interesting jewelry ideas. I know you have some for these! You can check out some of my jewelry to get some ideas.

As you can see from the photographs, these beads are not exactly identical in size.

The sizes range from the smallest:
18mm from hole to hole,to the widest: 24mm.

They are all approximately 7mm to 10mm thick.

Each bead varies in length from the smallest: 21mm
to the largest: 24mm

Guy made each bead on a 3/32" mandrel. Each bead has been kiln annealed for strength and durability.

Clear Turquoise Hollow Dotted Lampwork Beads

Handmade hollow glass beads! How cool is that? I can never have enough hollow beads in my jewelry box! They're fun and whimsical just from the shape and size. Being hollow makes them all the more fun! Guy created this set of three with a gorgeous clear light turquoise glass. Each bead has been made with care in our lampwork studio then cleaned thoroughly. The beads you see in the pictures here are the beads you will receive.

A beautiful set of handmade glass beads, made here in our lampwork studio by my husband, Guy! The mossy green in this set is very pretty and reminds me of the moss I see on on my walks in nature. Guy paired the moss with dots of light turquoise blue and deep lavender. In the next step, he flattened each bead with his giant glass mashers. A great set of handmade glass beads for you to create with.

This set of FIVE beads vary in size but are all in the same general range, as you can see from the photos.

* These beads were made on 3/32" mandrels.
* The largest bead measures 24mm from hole to hole,
is 9mm thick and 27mm wide.
* The smallest bead is 16mm from hole to hole,
is 8mm thick and 22mm wide.

Turquoise Purple and Red Fabulous Glass Bead on Silver and Leather Necklace

This is a gorgeous glass bead! Guy made it in his lampwork studio from clear purple, opaque turquoise, soft pink, red and ivory glass. Lots of color and awesome technique went into this beauty! I wire wrapped it with fine silver adding a few small seed beads. It hangs from a glorious Hill Tribe silver curved tube bead. This is one of my favorite types that the talented artisans in Thailand create.

The tube bead has a 1mm thick black leather necklace sliding through it. The ends close with fine silver and a hand-forged hook for easy and secure closure. The necklace measures 17.5 inches long. The pendant measures just under 2 inches long.

Our glass beads are created one by one using colored glass rods from Italy, melted carefully over a 2000 degree propane and oxygen flame. Guy truly enjoys making these precious beads and hopes you love them, too!

I am the lucky one that gets to fashion awesome pieces of jewelry from my husband's beads!

Periwinkle and Turquoise Amazing Lampwork and Leather Necklace

These handmade glass beads were begging to be made into a funky necklace so I listened to them and this is the result! I first wire wrapped a gorgeous round bead made by Guy. He used all kinds of fabulous lampworking techniques and brilliant colors including periwinkle, turquiose and cobalt blue for the core of this big bead. I added a few plain glass spacers along with other fine silver findings and a Hill Tribe silver heart charm to finish off the end.

This wonderful pendant dangles from a strand of 1mm thick black leather which is finished at both ends in fine silver. The leather connects two strands of flat lampwork beads (also made by Guy) using the same colors as the focal bead. Lots of cute purple seed beads mingle between the original lampwork and the necklace finishes off with strands of leather connected with a sterling silver lobster clasp.

Can you tell I'm excited about this piece? And I had a live model to help me show it off to you! This is Maayan (Guy's little sister), taking a break from her fun job at a hip pizzeria in Tel Aviv - to help us out with her stellar modeling!

This necklace was made entirely by hand in our glass bead studio here in Israel. All components are of the finest quality and each glass bead is made with great care. The lampwork is also kiln annealed for added strength and durability to last you a lifetime.

Necklace measures 20 inches long. The pendant measures 2.5 inches long.
