Kappa are Japanese water imps, inordinately fond of cucumbers. The hardcore old-school pictures of kappa are frankly quite scary, hence I prefer the cuter version commonly found in videogames and toys. (Hello, all Harvest Moon fans!)

Hachi's very well-behaved although to be honest, you never can guess what he's thinking about.

Darjeeling, or Dargie as her friends call her, is not a nocturnal bunny, although you might think her to be one from her colour. She likes to wake up early and lie in bed, watching the light change through the thin white curtains her daddy put up for her.

Dargie is about 8 inches tall to the tips of her ears. Not suitable for small children.
