I absolutely love, love, love this necklace. It's yet another one that I'm tempted to keep!

The focal bead is one of my lampwork beads (molten glass that's hand-worked/manipulated in a flame, then slowly cooled in a kiln for durability). I used silvered ivory and lots of fun blue and green color on the bead, and as a result it has a great texture and lots of depth!

I've used very high quality lapis lazuli cube beads, coordinating lampwork beads, Swarovski crystals, and a single faceted turquoise teardrop bead, and finished the necklace off with sterling silver wire and 100% handmade silk ribbon (hand-dyed, sewn, etc).

This necklace is 15.5 - 18 inches long.

This necklace features a focal bead that I made last year in Italy. So, in March/April 2008, I went to Murano, Italy, and took lampwork bead classes from Sarah Hornik. Along the way, I learned some techniques from a few other lampwork artists who were there.

The focal features all Italian glass with lovely dichroic shimmer and 23K gold leaf with lots of shades of pink and purple, all swirled for a neat effect!

I've used cute matching lampwork beads made by SortaFlowering Designs, and 100% handmade silk ribbon by JAMN glass here on Etsy. I added coordinating Swarovski crystals and it's all brought together with sterling silver wire!

A new earring design! Well, new to me, at least. This is not an original technique. I learned this recently and I really dig it. Have you ever wanted to wear post earrings, but you hate the end of the post digging into your head? Especially if you're on the phone... what a pain to take the earrings out or deal with the irritation of a tiny rod of metal poking your head.

Well, these earrings eliminate that worry. The post goes up-- so that a curved portion of metal is against the back of your ear. I'll include rubber stoppers if you purchase these earrings. You can gently adjust the back as well, depending on the thickness of your ear lobe.

These earrings feature sterling silver wire posts, which has been lightly hammered in a spiral pattern. The pearls are just gorgeous, aren't they? The luster is really beautiful and rich, and these pearls are of a good size-- approximately 15mm in length, which is over half an inch!

This necklace sort of hung around in my head for a while, until I could find the right chain. Found it! ;-) This is 14K gold plated chain, with large links. This is truly an elegant and romantic necklace! Once in a while I feel compelled to give my pieces a name... and this is one of those.

Anyway-- the beads are made by Sarah Hornik, a world-renowned lampwork artist (and friend of mine!). I've used a few Swarovski crystals, but I really thought these beads did well speaking for themselves, and I didn't want to overpower them with lots of other fru-fru.

The beads have 23K gold leaf inside! Yes, the real stuff.

This necklace is 22 inches long (pendant hangs down 3 1/2 inches)... but you can wear this necklace much shorter if you like, because of the large link chain.

This necklace was inspired by an original necklace I made for myself a few months ago. I've received so many compliments on it that I decided to make a similar one and offer it for sale. It took me a while to find more tourmaline briolettes that are reasonably priced, but also a lovely quality. Bingo!

The tourmaline in this necklace has a wide range of colors-- from pale and even deep sparkly yellow, to brown, green, pink (of course!), light blue, etc... I've also used natural UNDYED/untreated pink ruby briolettes to kick up the pink factor, as well as tiny 4mm Swarovski crystals to add an extra punch of color. Finally, the necklace features two large apatite round beads that add that gorgeous deep greenish blue, larger Swarovski crystals, and a lovely oxidized sterling silver chain.

The necklace is 19 inches long, but it can be worn at a variety of lengths because of the large-link chain. Wear it as a choker if you wish!

This necklace has an ethereal quality to it, with the glowy sea glass and opalite. This is the last of my sea glass and opalite (for now, anyway!).

This is an asymmetrical necklace, but it can be worn somewhat symmetrically as well.

These muted sea glass and sparkly faceted opalite beads have a blue glow that looks orange/yellow just depending on what kind of light you're in. They don't look "flat" in any light, though! These beads look great on any skin type, too. I have very pale skin with pink undertones, and these beads look great. Of course if you have darker skin, this necklace will really pop and look pretty darn spectacular.
