This is an adjustable two-layer diaper cover. It has elastic gussets on the back and legs. The inside layer is waterproof 1-mil PUL (Polyurethane laminate) polyester. The outer knit fabric (most likely polyester) is from unused vintage yardage that I found at the thrift store. You can't find stylin' fabric like this in the fabric store anymore! This will be made to order in any size you choose. Please indicate size upon checkout (see below for size chart).

Plastic snaps are used for closures.

I use synthetic fabric instead of cotton on the outer layers of my diaper covers so there is no danger of moisture wicking to the outside. The fabric is knit, not woven, so the cover has a bit of stretch to it.

Have you used PUL for diaper covers? It can take abuse in the washer and dryer and still maintain its waterproof powers. You may wash the covers in the same load as the diapers. They will last even longer if you wash them separately (or with your regular clothes). They don't get as dirty as diapers and don't need to be washed with them. Please use the same detergent you would use on your cloth diapers, ie. no fragrances, no dyes, no bleach, no fabric softeners, etc.

The cover can be used & aired out several times before it needs to be washed.

A sleep sack will be custom made for you upon purchase (please allow 2 weeks for completion). Materials used: This diaper is made from a vintage yellow bath towel. It is lined with new white cotton diaper flannel.

This quick-dry cotton fitted diaper will need a separate cover. It features snug-fitting elastic around the thighs and back to contain leaks.

Two soakers snap inside the diaper for maximum absorbency where needed. The bottom soaker can be folded toward the front to increase the absorbency in the wet zone for boys. The soakers flip out in the wash for thorough cleaning and quick drying (they sometimes come unsnapped, but usually stay together through the wash and dry).

The closures are durable plastic snaps. Several snap settings help you make a custom fit for your baby. Tummy snaps are hidden to not leave marks on your baby's skin.

Waterproof Diaper Cover, Vintage Fabric, Retro orange, brown, yellow

This is an adjustable two-layer diaper cover. It has elastic gussets on the back and legs. The inside layer is waterproof 1-mil PUL (Polyurethane laminate) polyester. The outer polyester fabric is from unused vintage yardage that I found at a thrift store. The print is kind of, well, is it floral? Let's call it "an octopus's garden" in bright oranges and yellows. This will be made to order in any size you choose. Please indicate size upon checkout (see below for size chart).

I use synthetic fabric instead of cotton on the outer layers of my diaper covers so there is no danger of moisture wicking to the outside. Closures are durable plastic snaps with several settings to adjust the waist size.

Have you used PUL for diaper covers? It can take abuse in the washer and dryer and still maintain its waterproof powers. You may wash the covers in the same load as the diapers. They will last even longer if you wash them separately (or with your regular clothes). They don't get as dirty as diapers and don't need to be washed with them. Please use the same detergent you would use on your cloth diapers, ie. no fragrances, no dyes, no bleach, no fabric softeners, etc.

The cover can be used & aired out several times before it needs to be washed.

Super Hippy Pocket Diaper, Size Large

Diaper your baby with some earth-loving style with this super funky print! Flowers, rainbows, birds, stars, hearts, mushrooms, lips, clouds, and I'm not even sure if that's everything. It looks like a mural that could be painted on the side of a really neat VW bus.

This is not a waterproof diaper, it requires a separate cover (wool pants work great!).

This is a simple 2-layer side-snap pocket diaper. The outer printed fabric is a thick cotton knit. The inside layer 80/20 cotton/poly velour. Cotton velour is so nice & soft against your baby's skin, and it stays soft & plush even after being washed dozens of times. Elastic gussets around the legs, back, and tummy are made from cotton diaper flannel. There is an opening in the back for stuffing the diaper with an insert. An insert is not included, but my favorite insert to use is 1 or 2 Gerber flat birdseye diapers. They can be folded into a nice soft, thick rectangle. You can use just about anything absorbent for an insert, like a prefold diaper, microfiber towel, cotton receiving blanket, old dish towel, etc. Just pull the insert back out before you drop the diaper in the pail. Fold if back up and stuff it back in when the diaper is dry. This dries so fast, I love it.

This side snap diaper is also great as a pull-up for your potty-training tot. The elastic in the tummy makes it easy to pull up and down. And since it is a pocket diaper, you can adjust the internal thickness based on the needs of your child. The snap closures can adjust to different waist sizes.

This is a size large diaper (about 18 months and up). The measurements are as follows:
Waist: 14-22 inches
Rise: 18 inches

This size fits my two-year-old perfectly. My four-year-old also wears this same size at night.

When washing diapers, avoid detergents with additives like perfumes, enzymes, bleach, fabric softeners, etc. Use less detergent and extra rinse cycles. This can be line-dried or dried on the hottest drier setting.
