I started to make these smocks when my daughter figured out how to take her bib off. Cheeky girl. Well she has not figured out how to get out of these yet. We use them for eating as well as arts and crafts, and in the summer I put one on with only a diaper and she is good to go.

This is a medium size smock which will start to fit around two years old on. Or 20 + pounds. Up to about 30 pounds.

The smocks are based on a pattern that my Mom used to make me an outfit in the early 70's. It is a tried and true classic.

These smocks wrap around the back and criss cross over the shoulders. There is plain fabric on the inside. They are easily made to be reversible and if you would like that feature I will gladly add on two extra buttons before I ship to you.

Also for $15.00 extra I can make a pair of bloomer bottoms for this!

Perfect for the changing fall weather are these Japanese Bunny Pants. Made of a light weight linen they are comfortable but not too warm for this season.

These beautiful linen pants have much attention in the little details. There are french seams throughout. The elastic is non rolling and has been tacked at the outer seams to prevent movement of the elastic within the casing. The hem is reinforced for extra durability.

The elastic waist band makes it easy for young children who want to get dressed themselves to do just that, and the pocket on the back makes it easy for them to tell which side goes which direction.

Sizing for the 2 T size is approximately 25 to 35 pounds.
The inseam measures 8 1/2" and the waist is 15" not stretched.

Who needs a tiny little wash cloth? I love these wash towels. When you are chasing babies around the bath tub it gives you more potential to actually get some soap on the little buckaroos. When bathing yourself it has such pretty fabric it just makes me happy to use them.

The towels come in a set of three ready to use or give away as gifts.

Eco Friendly Lavender Dryer Bag with Lavender - Lemons

I decided to hand make some reuseable Lavender Dryer Bags. I have bought throw aways at the store and always wanted to make something more eco friendly. These leave your linens, laundry, and lingerie with a fresh lavender scent. Exceptional to use on your babies sheets if they happen to be the fussy type.

I made a fabric bag with velcro closure. I tucked the velcro in a bit so that there is not a chance that it will snag any clothes. I also pre-washed the fabric and ribbon so it will not bleed.

You just place about 1/2 of a cup of lavender in the bag and make sure it is sealed tightly and throw it into the dryer. Simple. When the lavender stops smelling you dump out the old and put in new.

Included are one big packet of lavender. Each packet is good for about 10 dryer cycles. If you have no way to purchase more lavender I have some up for sale, it is easy to find in the local health food store though.

I am also drying some wild sage and will be selling some in bags as well as for filler on existing bags.

Available in a clear cellophane package with a Pinkdixie label. (see photos) Please request this packaging upon check out.

I mixed it with some cinnamon, cloves, corriander, rosemary, and a few other special spices to make a wonderful custom blend.

My chunky little monkey has such beautiful neck rolls. The car seat straps were biting him and I wanted to make him more comfortable. That was when I came up with the Car Seat Strap covers.

They are made out of shearling to keep the rolly bits cozy and fun cotton fabric to add a bit of kicky detail at the bottom of each strap. They are very easy to attach with on the back velcro.

This is for a car seatbelt or to be used with a toddler booster seat. It fits a 2" standard car seatbelt strap, but I can custom make them for whatever size strap you have. This size is 10" long so there is a ton of coverage over the shoulder and across the chest.

You can also reverse it to the 100% cotton side for those hot summer months.

It seems that most of my new products stem from a need in the life of my family. My daughter started kindergarten this week and I found myself in need of some napkins for her lunch bag. I did not want to throw away a bunch of paper napkins and I also did not want to send the ones for the dinner table so I made her her own set of kid style napkins. Each one is 8" square, perfect for lunch sacks. The edges are surge finished and have a finished straight seam edge.

This is a kids scarf made out of fun faux fur. The fur is a hot pink with orange tips on some of the strands. The scarf is attached with a button closure. The button comes from my collection of Vintage buttons, it is 1" across and a beautiful pearlized grey color.

This scarf fits my 3 1/2 year old very well but she was not allowing photos this week so I had to use my lava rock instead. The neck opening is large enough to accomodate turtle necks and jackets. As a matter of fact it is large enough that if you want to pinch it for a fun afternoon shopping it will fit you too!

How great to be able to make a fashion statement from your carseat!

My chunky little monkey has such beautiful neck rolls. The car seat straps were biting him and I wanted to make him more comfortable. That was when I came up with the Car Seat Strap covers.

They are made out of shearling to keep the rolly bits cozy and fun cotton fabric to add a bit of kicky detail at the bottom of each strap. They are very easy to attach with on the back velcro.

You can also reverse it to the 100% cotton side for hot summer months.

They fit a 1 1/2" strap, but I can custom make them for whatever size strap you have. They are 5" long so there is a ton of coverage.

Something extra special for the girls. I have used a piece of a vintage tablecloth with beautiful embroidery to create a truly custom suit.

I am branching out into boys clothes just as I promised with the birth of my son. I am continuing with creating contemporary updates to classic vintage patterns. Here is a 1960s pattern made with contemporary designer quilting fabrics. It is fun to mix and match the pockets, facings and straps. This suit is perfect for girls.

Eco Friendly Lavender Dryer Bag with Lavender - Purple Japanese Flower Style

I decided to hand make some reuseable Lavender Dryer Bags. I have bought throw aways at the store and always wanted to make something more eco friendly. These leave your linens, laundry, and lingerie with a fresh lavender scent. Exceptional to use on your babies sheets if they happen to be the fussy type.

I made a fabric bag with velcro closure. I tucked the velcro in a bit so that there is not a chance that it will snag any clothes. I also pre-washed the fabric and ribbon so it will not bleed.

Complete with one large packet of lavender. The packet has enough lavender to fill the bag two times, each full bag is good for about 5 dryer cycles. If you have no way to purchase more lavender I will put some up for sale, it is easy to find in the local health food store though.

Available in a clear cellophane package with a Pinkdixie label. (see photos) Please request this packaging upon check out.
