this series began as a work in sculpture and has moved to the page, the painting, and the photograph. i am interested in exploring the way that the object of the bed can becomes memory. the last two years i have been moving from bed to bed / space to space / architecture to non-architecture / tree to field and have felt a sense of the ephemeral bed. i am offering these beds for sale as a way to make a kind of peace.

* this bed is made of a scale of music, white gesso, two brown pillows and the minimalist approach to sound. it measures six inches by eight inches and can easily be framed or simply tacked to the wall.
