Vintage Lockets Pendants Hole

You are buying (5) Five Brass PHOTO LOCKET pendants. These goldplated brass pendant lockets are round and measure 30mm with the loop adding approximately 4mm (approximately 7/8"). These are approximately 5mm (3/16") thick with the inside photo areas measuring approximately 23mm (approximately 15/16").

The back and front have a lovely etched basketweave pattern. The front has a 2mm square Mounting hole - this can be used for soldering, cold riveting or wire attaching items. You can also cover the opening using a number of techniques - please see the example with a glass flower that has been adhered to the front.

These are from at least the 1970's and the original batch was still wrapped in the Barbados newspaper 'The Sunday Advocate-News' dated July 20, 1975. Great for a mini collage, secret notes, mini artwork or a photo.

These are vintage and show the normal signs of metal aging - some will be dirty, others will have dark marks and the patina will vary from locket to locket. All vintage items are sold AS IS - uncleaned and unaltered and are packaged randomly.

I have this style locket as a round 38mm and oval 46mm x 38mm, both with the mounting hole.

Pendant Silver Pewter Fleury Cross

You are buying (1) One Silver Pewter CROSS PENDANT. This cross pendant with oxidized beaded border measures 55mm x 37mm (approximately 2 3/16" x 1 7/16"). The back is flat with a cross hatch pattern. There is a loop on top (the hole measures approximately 2mm (1/16").

The front has a 'well' area that can be left as is or seed beads, cabochons, or picture can be added and covered with resin, Diamond Glaze or similar dimensional adhesive.

This is a type of Patonce Cross called a Fleury cross. A Patonce Cross has expanded ends, like the Pattee Cross, but when the arm terminates in floriated points, it can be a Fleury Cross or Fleur-de-lis Cross. Sometimes there are two petals at the end of each arm, but usually three. In heraldry, the three 'petals' represent faith, wisdom and chivalry. The four arms spread these to the four corners of the world. As a Christian Cross, the three petals represent the Trinity and the total twelve petals represent the Apostles.

Findings silver black frame mounting pin

You are buying (1) One SILVER Frame / Setting / Mounting for a Cameo or Cabochon. The center of the frame is black and measures 40mm x 30mm. The complete frame measures 55mm x 44mm (approximately 2 3/16" x 1 1/2").

The back is a bright shiny silver color. This has a silver and black beaded edge and a Bail as well as a locking Pin Bar in back. The Black center is scratched is most of these, but does not affect the funtionality. The center most often will be covered by a cabochon, cameo or collage or it can be touched up.

These vintage brass components from the 1940's thru early 1980's! I have sorted several pounds of this beautiful collection of fine vintage brass components of all types - too much for me to use! I have selected unique pieces and will be listing those items separately, so browse through my shop if you are interested in only specific pieces.

Brass is an alloy consisting of Copper and Zinc. The color will vary from a yellow/green to a reddish/coppery tone, depending on the proportions of copper and zinc.

A few of these pieces are still bright and shiny, but oxidation has occurred on the majority of the components and thes pieces have surface Patina/Aging. The colors range from a bright yellow 'gold' to reddish copper to dark, antique gold to almost black. Great for Steampunk and 'Found Object' themed creations.

Using a process I developed, I have (permanently) altered this to resemble carved New Jade. The carving is very detailed. This is a lighter green than the Faux Jade.

You are buying (5) Five TINY Brass PHOTO LOCKET pendants. These raw brass pendant lockets are round and measure 13mm with the loop adding approximately 2mm (approximately 3/32"). These are approximately 3mm (1/8") thick with the inside photo areas measuring approximately 9mm (approximately 3/8"). The back and front are smooth.

Great as charms, a mini collage, secret notes, mini artwork or a tiny photo.

You are buying (1) One Asian DRAGON pendant. It is resin, round, 44mm (approximately 1 3/4"), flat backed with a top drilled hole running from front to back. The carving is very detailed and I have (permanently) altered this to resemble carved rusty metal with actual rust on Red. I have additional rusted patina altered pendants; the rust will vary in amount and coloration.
