You're looking at my hollow, carved "Dream" ball. It's a perfect little accent, and a wonderfully unique gift for someone to display with other art pieces.

I started making these a few years ago, LOVED THEM, and than wasn't sure what to do with them so I went on to something else for a while. They're about the same size as a croquet ball I think. They are hollow and I form them free hand so they're pretty circular... haven't gotten an egg head yet.

Anyway, it would be nice to have a collection of them.
This one says "Dream"... and I'll put pictures up of the others as I come across them.

If there's something you want carved into one, such as a wedding date, date of birth, etc. just let me know. The spheres are about 1/2 inch thick when I start.

Special orders and personalization requests are always welcome. Allow for a 2-3 week turnaround time. It could be shorter but I like for that to be a surprise!

Bird Vase

This vase was handformed (Hello) by me. It's 8 inches tall, and has a twisted ceramic branch with birds sitting on it. It was hand formed, dried, bisque fired, glazed in an off-white sand color, then reglazed. It's water safe and slightly oval in shape. A lovely vase, it will be a nice accent piece even when it's not holding flowers.

Snowflake Bowl Trio

I hand built these fun little bowls. They are a fun way to transition into the colder weather. They'd be great for condiments or nuts, raisins and such or for when you make soup, like a lovely little tortilla soup, and then have bowls of cheese, onions and radishes to add.

The bowls have been imprinted with snowflakes, formed and had layers of stain applied. They were dried, bisque fired, and glazed on the inside and about half way down the outside. They are really quite charming.

I am selling them as a set, but if you'd like something another way or a different color, please just let me know.

Oh, you might want to know what the sizes are -
4 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide at the top;
3 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide at the top
1.75 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide at the top.

3 inch Lidded Pumpkins

Again, these were made by hand, not on the wheel. They were going to be something else but the more I worked with them, the more they just wanted to be small, beautiful little pumpkins. They actually smile but only I can see that.

The price is FOR ONE PUMPKIN, NOT BOTH IN THE PICTURE. (Just so you know.)

The leafy lids come off. They've been hand pinched, dried, fired to 1950 degrees, glazed and then fired again for the glaze.....they're lovely small accents that would make wonderful gifts. No two are exactly alike.

They measure just a bit over 3 inches high and wide, the lid makes them a little bit higher.

tiny little Gnome Home

This is a very small, two piece, rough hewn home for a small gnome or tiny treasures. NOT for liquid or food, but for paper clips or wishes. It is not glazed on the inside, but is glazed outside. It's handbuilt, fired to a cone 04, glazed and fired again. Approximate measurements are 2.5 inches high and an inch square around. The lid comes off and nestles into the curves I cut, when it's put back on. this could also hold bobby pins or toothpicks as well, and NOT at the same time.

I made both of these (a couple of years ago) by rolling the stems and buds and then forming them into little pinch pots. It seemed like I was making flowers for days, but I was really into it, so I just kept going.

Anyway, these are available for purchase, either seperate or together. They are perfect for Q-tips, or change, earrings, or even paper clips.

Together they are $12; seperately, the tiny one is $6 and the small, and yet much larger pot is $8. The larger pot is 3-inches tall and 3-inches wide; the tiny pot is 1-inch tall, and maybe an inch and a half wide.

A Bird Bath - a SECOND

This is a lovely birdbath, turned on my potting wheel. I then added a branch with five little birds sitting on it.
It measures 10 inches across and about 3 inches high.

Sadly, the bottom developed a crack during firing so it will not hold water, but it works really well as a soap dish or a place for keys.......anything not liquid.

I'm selling this relatively inexpensive because it can't be used what it was intended for.

It really is a nice piece.

Two Blue Budgies

I made this pair of lovely little blue budgies by hand. They come as a pair because they don't want to be seperated. They are an intense turquoise blue with orange beaks. Each of them are two inches long by 1.5 inches high.

They were handformed, no molds, dried, bisque fired, glazed and refired. Now they are ready to fly to YoUr house!

This is a round pumpkin shaped pot. It measures about 3.5 inches high and wide. It does not have a top. It's glazed red outside and a clear inside and is water safe.

This could hold a small bunch of flowers and look lovely on your desk or on a night stand. It's dishwasher safe.

Bird House Trinket Box

This adorable little stoneware house measures just 4 inches tall, including the bluebird on top. I handbuilt this and liked the idea of the tree branch coming out with a tiny bird sitting on top. It's not quite 2 inches wide. The top comes off and you could put rings or Q-tips or tiny sea shells in it. The inside measures one inch square and almost two inches deep. Okay, so maybe not Q-tips, but something else, some other kind of tiny treasure.

In any case, it's a lovely little something.

Red Tweets On A Branch

These two tiny red birds sit perched on a "branch."
They are all terra cotta clay, glazed with dashes of color. The tiny birds are a beautiful red glaze, that has sadly been discontinued, so I'm glad I used it on these beauties.

The branch is about 7 inches in length, and the whole piece stands maybe 2-3 inches tall. The birds are about 1.5 inches square, or close.

This is a wonderful thing to gift to a friend (or yourself) who loves little fat birds. Each item I create is one of a kind, so while something later might be similar, it will never be the same.

4 inch NON Lidded Pumpkin - Sand Color

Did I describe it all in the title?
So, this is for one sand colored pumpkin vessel. Of course if it's not orange I don't know why it would be a pumpkin - oh wait, there are white pumpkins. Anyway, there was no lid made for it, so it's an open vessel. It's a little bit over 4 inches high and wide, and flat on the bottom.

This is for one handbuilt, handformed, pinch pot pumpkin.
Since I make each of these by hand, no two are ever alike.

Heart Bird Bath or .............

This is a miniature bird bath that I made on the wheel, then altered a bit, and added a handformed branch with birds attached. I thought it would be a nice thing to place in a little garden nook, or on your patio. You could have water in it or bird seed, or you could use yours as a sort of catch all on your entry table. It's a bit heavy so it's not easily knocked over, which is good in case you have a cat that wants to see what's inside.

It measures almost 10 inches wide by 3 inches high.

Buff Bowl

This bowl was made with a buff color stoneware clay, thrown on the wheel and then "wonked" just a little so that the rim sort of floats along.

The inside and outside both have random brush strokes of colored glaze, and the inside was then covered with a clear glaze making it food safe.

It measures about 5.5 inches across the rim and not quite 3 inches tall. It's really lovely. Notice how the glaze which was really a greenish glaze, turned to a pretty blue in the inside crevices. I love it!

This little bowl is sweet. Made with buff colored clay, it is a wonderful compliment to the sea green glaze I used on it. The glaze isn't all over, I made only a few brush strokes but the accent is lovely. THEN I covered it, inside and out, with a shiny clear glaze. See for yourself. I think the pictures are pretty darn accurate.

Paisley Pendant - with beads

This necklace has a paisley Millifiori pendant with flowers in it. The 26-inch waxed cord also holds red glass and silver accent beads with some amber glass beads. It's delightfully simple and perfect with jeans. It's dainty but not fussy. A wonderful gift item and very inexpensive.

This 28-inch necklace has a glass Millifiori heart shaped pendant. The heart is just under 3/4 oc an inch. The waxed cord it's on measures 28 inches long but can easily be knotted to make it shorter. The necklace is accented by turquoise, coral and jade color beads with silver accents. It's delightfully simple and will go with just about anything.

Colorful Quail

This little quail measures 3 inches tall and a teensy bit over 3.5 inches long. She's made of stoneware, then fired in my electric kiln to a cone 04. She was then painted with underglazes to get a sort of watercolor effect, then fired again. She's hollow inside. She'd make a lovely addition for those who are collectors.

Here's a terra cotta bird with a mottled blue glaze that is just sweet.

She's about 3-4 inches long, a little over two inches high. She's been bisque fired to Cone 04, then glazed and refired. She's a perfect "Thinking of You" gift or stocking stuffer for a collector.

I make each bird individually, there are no two alike, unless purely by accident.
