Stunning and original neckpiece / textile jewellery. This collar-type neckpiece is amazingly light and comfortable to wear and is a true work of wearable art. The neckpiece goes over the head and rests on the collarbones but doesn't get in the way.
Hand-pleated from silk organza which holds it's shape beautifully.
Approx 12 inches diameter.

Corsage

Pleated Corsage as seen on the cover of my book, Sew It Up.

The corsage is hand sewn with beautiful Amy Butler fabric in cerise pink and cream and finished with a vintage mother of pearl button - each one is different but all are beautiful. The back of the corsage is finished with charcoal grey felt, a safety pin and my own label.

Gift boxes are available at an extra £2 or $3. Send me a convo and I'll arrange it. Soon they will have their own listing!

•Liberty print lining fabric the same as the needlebook shown in the book
•Organic cotton quilt wadding

•2 pieces of recycled wool felt to make the inner pages, in co-ordinating colours, but not exactly the same as those shown in the book

Cushion featured in the Guardian!

This cushion was designed and made for a feature on recycled products for the Guardian newspaper in 2007.

It is made from 100% recycled materials with a natural wool inner.
The main fabric is made from a good quality shirting and fastens with the original shirt buttons on the reverse side. The circles and dots are appliqued from recycled wool felt, buttons and washers.
