Halloween season is here and you know what that means? Lots of hungry Vampires, Witches and Homicidal Maniacs to feed! What better way to serve the dead and the undead then by giving them treats direct from the Graveyard!

I have taken the classic 'Dirt Cake' and given it a Halloween twist. I serve this every year and it has become a favorite with my ghoulish Gang! People love digging into the 'dirt' and finding all sorts of icky things like worms, eyeballs and the occasional ear or nose. When your guests reach the bottom they will be surprised to see a skeleton looking back at them. How fun is that!!

Have you ever had a little Chicken then she wouldn't lay an egg? Well, I have the perfect solution. First put on a little Barry White, throw in a handsome young Rooster who is in line for his own show on the newly merged WB and UPN network 'CW' and you are in for a wild night of Chicken lovin!

I bought a few perfectly cute vintage aprons from a fellow Canadian shop keeper: norththreads.etsy.com.

I gave one to a friend, kept one and added some googly eyes to the Vintage embroidered Chicken & Rooster, fuzzy eggs, a daisy flower and an Iron on Red heart to this last one.

The apron is brown Gingham and as you can see in the picture of it on me, on the small side. It would be perfect for a child, petite adult or as a vanity apron for your swinging chicken cocktail themed parties!
