This is a super cute, cheery, perky summer quilt full of fun and whimsy. Quilt includes 5 different prints in bright colors, daisies, plaid and polka dots. back is a cheery daisy print that matches the blocks on the front.

Top, back and binding are 100% cotton, batting is polyfill. machine pieced, hand quilted and hand finished. All materials are new but were left over from previous projects. This is a true scrap quilt!

item has been pre-washed with Ecover Delicate Wash to ensure fabrics won't bleed and all seems are secure.

Made to fit new born but will stretch to fit kids up to six months and possibly a year (but the 1 year old I tried it on has a really tiny noggin)

These make a very clear point to hospital staff that your baby will be breastfeeding. You will have all the artificial nipple you will ever need. Keep tiny noggins warm on nippy days. (I could go on but I will spare you.

Made of hypo-allergenic, super soft acrylic (Caron Simply Soft. Its the only acrylic I will use.). Three flesh tones available - dark brown, tan and cream. Pink/peach coming as quickly as I can knit one up. Unstretched circumferences is about 14 1/2 wide. I can make them bigger or smaller upon request (slight up charge for larger hats. Custom orders take about 24-48 hours (longer for adult sizes). no sweat. rolled brim and no seams mean a soft gentle hat for your baby that will leave no marks on their head.

If you don't want to lug a reusable cup everywhere but are still troubled by the amount of waste your daily coffee creates allow me to help.

Perfect Receiving Blanket

Maybe it is just me. but I have never been happy with the status quo receiving blankets. My first was a tiny little thing (a mere five pounds) but we still had to swaddle her in two or three blankets to keep her warm. with my second (tipping the scale at 10 pounds) we couldn't even fit those tiny flimsy things around her. by the time I had my third I had wised up. I decided to make my own receiving blankets that would meet the needs of any baby (and hey, my kids had thus far doubled in size with each birth. I had no sane reason reason to believe this one would be anything less than 15 pounds! fortunately she came in at a nice average 7 pounds. whew!)

So here it is. the perfect receiving blanket. the design has been road tested and approved by all my friends. and their babies. This one features two layers of thick soft high quality flannel. This is one amazing bag!!!

Knitted from 100% cotton yarn it is super sturdy, washes easily and dries fast. It packs small but can stretch to amazing proportions.

How much can it carry?

* groceries - I fit 2 quarts of milk, 2 quarts of juice, liter of water and a 20 ounce bottle of pop. a box of mashed potatoes, a jar of peanut butter and 4 cans of soup.
* at the pool- 2 towels, snacks and drinks, pool toys and two swimsuits.
* hang it on a hook for a creative laundry hamper in your child's room. the mesh design provides for lots of air flow to keep the clothes from stinking.
* overdue library books - about 20!

How big is it?

this one is about 15"x9" unstretched. Stretched? that just depends. this one is in a fun color that reminds me of a box of Runts, a gum ball machine or just summer. it includes pink, lime green, yellow, and an orang-ish red. Long over the shoulder handles.

Once upon a time a Starbucks coffee shop switched from bulk bags to 1 pound bags. This saved the little coffee shop a lot of money but made the barrista's very sad. they could not bear to throw away so many bags. So they saved them. One barrista said to the other "uuuhhh, so what are we going to do with all these bags" and she said "uuhhh I don't know" so they drank some coffee, stared at the bags and put their thinking caps on. the first barrista said "hey! you ever see those kool-aid bags?" and the the other one said "Yeah" and the first one sayd "yeah, I'm gonna make some coffee bag bags" and so she did. and here they are.

strong, easily cleaned, inexpensive, pleasant coffee aroma, good for the earth. these bags have it all.
