Hi! Normally I post pretty much polymer clay stuff here, but I just loved these earrings too much to keep them off.

They are made from Czech pressed glass. The beads are the same on both sides, so the little kitty is never turning her back on you. Earwires are mystery-metal...the package did not say exactly what they are made of, but I can wear them without breaking out, and I'm pretty sensitive. I love their shape!

The earrings are 1-3/4" long.

Hello!

I'm really excited about this pendant. I had some scrap interfacing with a hole it it and thought Why Not??

Glass seed beads of different sizes (mostly 8/0 and 11/0) were sewn onto the interfacing 1-4 beads at a time. The back is covered in one of my favorite quilt cotton patterns to protect the thread and complement the front. A picot stitch trails around the outer and inner edges.

It measures 2-7/8" tall and 1-1/2" wide. A soldered sterling silver ring was sewn into the top so it can be hung on a chain or incorporated into a more complex necklace. It comes with an 18" black rubber cord with silver clasp already attached...ready to wear!

As always, it's one-of-a-kind, though other similar pendants in different colors will appear in the future!

It's my old high school colors (did a show in the 'hood), it's also the colors of Cincinnati's NFL football team (which a lot of Cincinnatians are very happy with right now) and also Halloween (I made it near Halloween). Hi! This is a small ring dish made from solid polymer clay. I coiled some long strands of clay onto a polymer clay base and baked it. The top part is red and blue, the middle area is yellow and green, and the base is solid black.

The dish is 3/4" deep from lip to bottom and is about 2" wide. The depth of the dip in the dish is 1/4" thick. Perfect to hold a ring while you're in the shower, a pair of earrings or to present a very special gift to someone. It will be packed in a white gift box.

Do not use this dish to hold anything that will be hot, like an incense cone. Polymer clay can burn when on fire! Also don't use it for food.

The heart measures 1-3/16" across the fattest part, and 1" from the dip on the top to the point on the bottom. The edges have been sanded smooth. The back of it is black. A 9mm jumpring makes it easy to string on just about any standard cording or strap. Treat polymer clay with respect. Do not use as part of a keychain.

This is one HOT pair of earrings. One of my best pairs to date.

I made the polymer clay dome-shaped cabashons, then stitched tiny glass seed beads all around it to accentuate the colors. The stitches on the back were covered with hand-dyed cotton. Earwires are fancy sterling silver with a decorative bead on each earwire.

Each earring measures about 1-1/4" in diameter.

What can polymer clay artists do with empty plastic adding machine tape cores? Make awesome wheel-shaped designs! That's how I got the neat pattern in this mokume gane method design. Clay is pressed, distressed, sliced, cut and baked. These have hand-carved notches for a textured effect.

Color Slab Earrings - polymer clay

This pair of earrings is simply a couple of thick-n-hearty slabs of a cane of polymer clay. It came from scraps of other canes, and I think this kind of "happy little accident" couldn't come often enough.

The earrings I am selling are from the same cane as this one, so though 90% of the cane is almost identical, there are a few differences that don't affect the spirit of this design. I dropped my camera and smashed it by accident this past weekend, so I can't take photos right now.

The earrings have the design on both sides of the slabs, so when they dance below your ear, everyone will get a shot of 'em.

They measure 1-3/8" from the top point (where the jumpring is) to the bottom point and 1-1/4" across, from point to point. Earwires are hypallergenic surgical steel. They come in a clean gift box, and all of my earrings come with clear rubber stoppers to prevent loss when wearing.

Mokume Gane Polymer Clay Handmade Brooch

Hi!

This is probably one of the top 10 mokume gane pieces I've made. This large flat cab was cemented to a stiff interfacing, beaded around the edge and backed with cotton fabric from Bali.

Mokume Gane is a Japanese term meaning Wood Eye Metal. Mokume Gane is traditionally a metal craft, but the versatility of polymer clay makes it a terrific substitute with often stunning results. Each "slice" off of a prepared loaf is completely unexpected. The Universe takes a chance. I used Sculpey III, Premo and Fimo.

The entire brooch is 2-1/8" diameter. I used plastic heishi and glass seed beads to embellish and enhance the colors, as well as add some texture. The pin on the back is a hearty 1-1/4" long. It could be used on a coat in the wintertime.

All handmade polymer clay items should be treated with care. Avoid abrasive surfaces and harsh chemicals. Cool water, mild soap and a soft rag is the best recipe for cleaning.

This is one of my best pieces ever.

It's a polymer clay and seed bead embroidered brooch. The polymer clay eye design was made using a rubber stamp that I carved myself...my own eye design. Then the polymer clay eye cabashon was mounted on heavy interfacing and embellished around the sides with matte black glass beads of various sizes and shapes. The back is cotton dark teal ultrasuede, with the bar pin embedded.

The brooch measures 2.5" across, 2" tall, and 3/8" thick, not including the bar pin.

This brooch is one-of-a-kind. It will arrive in a new, clean white gift box.

Here is one of hundreds of polymer clay crosses I've made over the years. This cross was made from neat scraps from beads I was trimming.

Dimensions: 2-5/8" tall, 2" across and almost 5mm thick. The jumpring is silverplated and a little silver hand charm hangs on the back that is imprinted with the words "hand made".The edges of my flat items have been sanded and buffed around the edges for a smooth finish.

These crosses can be used as pendants, rear view mirror decorations, wall decorations, Christmas ornaments and gifts. I would not recommend using them as keychains....they are fragile and should be handled sparingly. If you take care of it, it will take care of you!

All of my pieces are unique and fresh, not your typical polymer clay.

How cosmic do THESE look? I love these earrings.

Made from the Mokume Gane style of stacking several polymer clay colors, distressing the loaf and slicing to reveal bizarre and beautiful patterns. Neat surprises every time!

When the earrings are hanging vertically, they measure 1 inch tall. The cresents do not hang perfectly vertical; rather they dip a little bit, creating a scoop-like look. There is pearlescent clay in the mix, so it's ultra-cosmic. The surface is matte, but if you would like it glossy, I will glaze them at no extra cost. This is one of my better OOAK pieces I believe. It started out with the center polymer clay bead...my signature "Stacker Bead". Then I embroidered various matte and glossy glass seed beads and bugle beads around it. It's backed with original marbled cotton by Marjorie Lee Bevis, and a picot beaded edge holds it all together. The pendant measures 2.25" diameter.

The necklace part is Softflex covered in glass and vintage West German lucite beads that complement the colors of the pendant. The clasp is one of my polymer clay buttons turned into a toggle-style loop clasp. The necklace measures 21.5" long, and the pendant hangs down from that.

I can't stop the Mokume Gane! It's my favorite method of creating crazy fun designs in beads and jewelry. My medium is polymer clay (not just for kids!).

This bead measures almost 1-3/4" (4.2cm) long and 3/4" thick, and the hole is a beefy 4mm wide, so it will accept many kinds of cording.

This bead looks amazing from all angles, as they are represented in the several photos on this ad. Need I say it's the only one like it? Oh yeah, it's been coated with clear glossy polyurethane, which helps bring out the clarity in detail and enhance color saturation. Makes it easy to clean, too!

Wavy Fall Colored Polymer Clay Earrings

This is a new design I'm toying around with. These are thin slices of polymer clay with great fall colors in them. They are long, but extremely lightweight. Each side of each earring is different, and you can turn them around if you open up the large ring and flip it around. Because they are thin though, you have to be careful as they are fragile. The best way to store them is on an earring rack. They come with clear rubber stoppers. Earwires are strong surgical steel.

They measure 2-1/8" and 2-1/4" long, each. Width is 7/8" each.

Asymmetry is 100% intentional.

These leaves are quite lovely.......lots of intricate detail that was quite uncontrolled during the creation. They are made of polymer clay, and the design graces both sides of the earrings.

Leaf measurements are: 1-5/16" long, 3/4" wide at widest point, and 1/8" thick. They are very lightweight.

This is a pair of earrings I made with my signature Stacker beads. Stacker beads are made from polymer clay and are rich in texture and excitement! This pair is a nice soft blue and green...very easy on the eyes.

The earrings hang just short of an inch from hypoallergenic surgical steel earwires. The Stacker beads are 3/4" diameter.

Hi.....

This one is simple enough. It's a grey swirl of polymer clay with a slight white strip. It's two-sided and measures 1-1/8" across, 1/4" thick. A 15mm silverplated jumpring allows it to be strung on just about any chain or necklace.

Hi there.....

This is one of the few pins I've made. It's solid polymer clay with the word URGENT stamped into it and painted a little where the letters are. Pretty simple stuff.

It measures 2" long by 7/8 wide by 1/4" thick.

Hi! These are a brand new pair of my polymer clay heart earrings. The design was made with my favorite kind of polymer clay technique, mokume gane. There was pearlescent clay used, so there is a slight shimmery surface effect.

The hearts measure 1-1/4" across and 1" from the dip on the heart to the point on the bottom.

The surface of the hearts is matte and the backs of these earrings are coppery brown. I used bright and shiny silverplated jumprings. The earwires are hypoallergenic surgical steel.

This is a one-of-a-kind pair of earrings. They will be mailed in a clean gift box.

Very Large Focal Bead .. handmade from polymer clay

The picture makes the bead look small to me, but I can assure you it's not. This beautiful lime green and orange bead is solid polymer clay and has a matte surface. It measures 1-1/8" from hole-to-hole and is 1-3/8" at the thickest part. Every angle is different, and is obviously one-of-a-kind. I can imagine all sorts of wonderful beads being used with this, but it is perfect as part of an art bead collection.

Hi!

Here's a new pair of earrings....nice flat hexagon shaped dangles. Photo says the most about how it looks, so here's what it doesn't show:

The hexagons measure 1-1/8" across from point-to-point. They are 1/8" thick. They dangle 1-1/4" from the bottom of the earwire to the bottom of the hexagons. Earwires are surgical steel. The backs are a soft sparkly blue. My earrings come with rubber stoppers to prevent loss.

They will be shipped in a nice clean white gift box.
