I used many shades of bright spring green on this mask and gave it a fairy dusting of gold to add a brilliant glow. The leaves are resemblant (is that a real word?) of Ivy and Ash tree leaves.

Here is a wonderful attempt to capture the autumn leaves turning those colors we all love to see. I had several requests to make more hand held masks, so here is the first few. This one is my Draagonfly design painted with a really light sky blue that blends into shimmery sapphire on the twirlled tips. I added silver accents with a bit of black highlighting and added a manzanita handle. Its 9 1/2 inches wide by 5 tall, and the handle is 12 inches long.
I hand cut and sculp each mask then paint them so every one is unique.

I make all of my feather barrettes from feathers collected around my land. I allow many of my birds to be free range, including the peacocks. This hair barrette is 5 inches in length. The feathers are securely attached to a heavy canvas, then suede. The metal clip is 1 3/4 inch. I've used feathers from Amazon parrpts in this one as well as peacock. The pair is well matched with a left and a right barette.
Sorry about the washed out look of the photo. The barrettes is irridescent.

These are fanciful hair clips. I imagine them to be shooting stars. I made them with leather and naturally molted feathers from loved pet birds. Birds shed their feathers like we shed our hair, so these feathers are collected as they are shed, then cleaned.
Each is totally unique and has a 2 inch clip securely attached to the feathers with leather. This one measures 6 inches in length.

I was going for a more goth look for a medusa mask, This one came close, but not quite dark enough. It's made from hand cut, sculpted and painted leather and has leather ties. The measurements are 16 inches wide by 14 high. It's hard to see from the photos, but I put a dragon scale effect into the paint with a few shades of burnt orange and gold.

Here is a dark faery creature, a fiery shadow goblin. Kind of like one of those shadows you think you caught moving the opposite way. Look for it lingering around just outside of the fire circle next time you are enjoying a fire performance, maybe you will see one too......

Well here it is.....this mask is made from hand cut and sculpted leather, it's one of a kind!! Made to capture the red-tailed hawk's essence. It is about 13 inches wide and 12 tall with many layers of feathery leather. It has leather ties to hold it to your head.

As an artist, I really am more inclined to make one of a kind items, although I am envious of other artists to be working for gift shops and die cutting hundreds of the same pieces, but for today, my creative inspirations are to be more unique.
