This unique necklace was made with an antique key and several millifori beads.

On a silverplated chain measuring 21 1/2" long, with a hook clasp.

About this key~

When he died, he left behind hundreds of keys in his terribly messy house. No one could figure out what the keys all went to. This pendant was made with one of the mystery keys. It could unlock any number of things . . . It was almost sent to the dumpster, but I thought it was too beautiful for that!

This fun one-of-a-kind charm bracelet is perfect for the gambler in your life (or for yourself if you know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em!) It is full of charms representative of all kinds of gambling. There are little pewter charms, slot machine, poker chips, dice, lucky sevens, $ signs, a cash charm, and others. The main colors are red, black and silver.

Walking into a casino is mesmerizing for me. The sounds of the slot machines, the crazy patterns on the carpet, the wild decor.... I know a lot of people who have tons of luck gambling...I don't. This bracelet is anyone who is lucky, anyone who isn't lucky and those of us who are mesmerized by the casino.

Each bead has been wire-wrapped. Each charm is attached to the silverplated chain with 2 jumprings each.

Key Pin Upcycled

Old key wire-wrapped with flower and leaf bead. I have wire-wrapped a pin on the back.

The key is 2 1/4" long.

This pin would be great vertical or horizontal! It would look lovely on a purse, blouse, sweater or scarf.

I think that ordinary items can be beautiful and keeping them out of the landfills is important. This particular key is from a group I received from a mysterious man who had tons and tons of keys, but not that many locks to unlock. What might have this key unlocked? We never did figure it out...maybe you can!

Typewriter Button Ring - 8

So cute and quirky, like you! I took the buttons off an old typewriter and attached one to an adjustable silverplated ring. This ring is completely one-of-a-kind. It is the " ' 8" key.

For a look at the typewriter the button came off - see the last photo listed. This typwriter was actually in the dumpster and my buddies at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER (on Queen St in Lancaster, Pennsylvania) saved it for me. I removed the buttons and cleaned them up.

I can accomidate *some* requests for keys. (Note, many are already sold, and others are for sale at my brick and mortar booth, so at any time I could run out.) The ring shown in the photo IS currently available. Please convo me prior to purchase of any special orders other than what is shown.

The ring is adjustable so it wil fit almost anyone.

You may have noticed that in addition to “Length” I have listed “Size” for bracelets and necklaces. Size allows for a truer fit than length in many cases. Several things could cause the size to be different from the length. For example, if the beads are big, bulky or the piece isn’t very flexible, that could change the size. I have both listed where applicable in case you are used to choosing the appropriate length.

Size is the inside circumference of the piece.

If you would like to know what size to choose, take a string and place around your wrist or neck about how you would like it to fit. Then measure that string. That’s your size!

Alternatively, if you would like to see how a necklace or bracelet will fit, measure a string and cut it to the length of the listed size. Then try it on.

This specific tile came from a Scrabble Game that I bought from a family who was moving to make a better life for themselves. They needed to let go of some of the excess in their life. This necklace has 2 vintage brass keyhole covers on either side. When you peek through the keyholes, you will see beautiful gems (vintage rhinestones) in blue and clear.

The pendant hangs on a very long (32 inch) brass chain.

The photos were taken in the sun and the rhinestones really shine!

By the way, the rhinestones are free and jiggle around inside, but they cannot come out.

Upcycled Spoon Pendant w Flower

This upcycled spoon pendant, was made with an actual spoon. I got it from a basket full of mix-matched flatware. It's stainless steel.

I took off the spoon part, so you no longer can actually eat your ice cream with it (sorry, you'll have to use a cone!) There is a sweet pink pressed glass flower that I have wire-wrapped on it. It's really pretty with the floral motif on the spoon.

It is on an 18 inch black cotton cord and has a lobster clasp. I can resize this necklace.

This necklace is very long and on a silverplated chain measuring 32 1/2" long, with a toggle clasp.

About this key~

When he died, he left behind hundreds of keys in his terribly messy house. No one could figure out what the keys all went to. This pendant was made with one of the mystery keys. It could unlock any number of things . . . It was almost sent to the dumpster, but I thought it was too beautiful for that!

Typewriter Key Ring - M-R

So cute and quirky, like you! I took the buttons off an old typewriter and attached one to an adjustable silverplated ring. This ring is completely one-of-a-kind. It is the M - R key. (I think maybe it's for "Margin Release")

For a look at the typewriter the button came off - see the last photo listed. This typwriter was actually in the dumpster and my buddies at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER (on Queen St in Lancaster, Pennsylvania) saved it for me. I removed the buttons and cleaned them up.

I can accomidate *some* requests for keys. (Note, many are already sold, and others are for sale at my brick and mortar booth, so at any time I could run out.) The ring shown in the photo IS currently available. Please convo me prior to purchase of any special orders other than what is shown.

The ring is adjustable so it wil fit almost anyone.

Recycling at it's upmost! I took an Infusium bottle and cleaned it out and cut it up, added some other recycled hardware to make these earrings! This is completely one-of-a-kind and very quirky and unique.

They are almost 2 inches from the top of the hoop to the bottom of the longest piece.

Bright and beautiful and one-of-a-kind! The outside is a pretty floral material, the inside is demin taken from a pair of jeans that no longer could be worn.

The cuff is 2 1/4" high. It is 8 3/4" long. It fits me perfectly and my wrist measures 6 3/4" around, measuring closely against my skin. It would fit a wrist that is a bit smaller, as well, depending how loose you wish to wear it.

ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals and they are highly collectible (and addictive!) miniature pieces of art that are created in a variety of different media as originals or prints. The only distinguishing characteristic of an ACEO is its size 2.5 x 3.5 inches, which is the size of a baseball card.

They are perfect to put in albums or put in a frame. I love collecting them and now I am sharing some of my own!

The Pendants shown in the photos are examples of what I have made in the past.

This Scrabble Tile was made from an upcycled Scrabble Tile that is approximately 3/4" x 3/4" and a partial definition from a vintage dictionary page. The pendant hangs from a silver plated bail.

The turn-around-time is approximately a week for this pendant, since I will be making it when you order and it is a few days process to create.

The pendant is finished with a hard almost glass-like glaze. This pendant is water resistant, but not water proof, so please don't wear it in the shower or pool.

These pretty earrings were made with wood beads with Asian symbols on them. They were reclaimed from an unwanted bracelet that I took apart.

These earrings hang just over 1 1/2" from the top of the earringwire down. The earringwires are hypoallergenic and goldtone.

Bone Skull Earrings

Earrings made with hypoallergenic earringwire and skulls. The skulls are handcarved from Yak bone and taken from a mala - a Tibetan prayer necklace.

About 1 1/2" long.

For $2.50, I can change to sterling silver earringwires.

SKULLS

The skull, an obvious symbol of death, has been given strong religious connotations in several cultures. Among the people of India and neighboring regions, the skull necklace is an iconographic memento mori worn by certain gods and goddesses, most notably Siva in his ascetic form and Kali in her wrathful form. Skull necklaces are also worn by the wrathful aspects of allied Tibetan and Nepalese deities such as Kurukulla -- and necklaces and prayer beads carved from animal or human bones in the form of skulls are popular with their devotees.

In pre-Columbian America, the skull was given an honoured place in the religious iconography of the Aztecs and related tribes of Mexico. Their descendents, both Indians and people of mixed European and Native American heritage, continue to venerate the skull and the skeleton during the national Day of the Dead ceremonies, when skulls made of sugar are eaten and offerings are placed on the graves of deceased relatives and friends.

In Nepal, the use of skull-beads on mallas (prayer beads, sometimes called "rosaries" by Americans) continues to this day. A malla, handcarved from yak bone and made with 108 beads, can be used in devotions - but when worn as jewelry, Nepalese mallas have also become popular among Americans who worship the goddess Kali or the god Siva or who affect Gothic or "dark" apparel.

Among many Europeans and North Americans of European descent, the skull now has less of a religious meaning than it does a "spooky" one. The frightening old European skull-and-crossbones -- used as a memento mori in European-style Freemasonry, and as the "Jolly Roger" flag of priates -- has been tamed over the centuries. These days the skull is trotted out for display at Halloween -- along with jack-o-lantern pumpkins and black cats -- as a conventional symbol of mild and amusing fright.

Still, the age-old links between religion, protection, and luck are so strong that in some North American "outlaw" sub-cultures, the skull retains its former status as a memento mori and magical protection charm. Bikers and low-riders, as well as some members of the military, utilize the skull as a significator of reckless machismo barely protected from diaster or doomed bravery that accepts its fate.

Another North American Subculture - that of hard-core gamblers - has also adopted the "reverse bad luck" of the skull for iconographic purposes. In the context of the sporting life, the skull, along with dice rolling sevens and black cats, symbolizes luck in adversity.
