It is machine quilted with an original free motion design. The background is quilted with a wild jagged pattern and the same with the quilting lines over the black and white fabrics. This is a one of a kind and unique art quilt as no patterns or templates were used.

The binding (or finishing) is done with couching a wool black yarn in a zig zag stitch around the whole outer edge.

Becareful what you wish for is the idea behind this fun quilt! The crust around the edge was created out of very large diameter roping and then sewed down by hand and covered in a batik fabric. The pizz has everhing sewn on it from pepperoni, to cheese and everything else, but the kitchen sink! It measures 30" x 30"
