Lots of sterling silver between aqua and blue glass beads strung on 14" of elastic, so refreshing to see. A 1", or 15mm ripply plastic pendant with silver beads and 1 blue glass bead set off this design.

Since photographing this necklace, I have upgraded the barrel clasp to a 3/4", or 20mm israeli sterling silver hook with a tiny flower on it.

I made this bracelet on a cold day, as I was longing for spring to come. The lavender and peach colors are softly glowing, as if catching the moonlight that shone on me. There are gently twisted foil lined beads from china, lovely swarovskis, czech leaves, and a butterfly with ab finishes, and the cutest little toggle shaped like a purse. In keeping with it's whimsicality, the beads aren't quite sequential. And would you believe it... my wrist is smaller than the average 7" average woman's, but this bracelet is 9" long, stretched end to end and counting the toggle, and it fits quite pleasantly!

When I was little, we didn't have many toys. We entertained ourselves by playing outside and reading books. These fish remind me of the minnows we used to catch. Mother gave us glass jars to keep them in. We found such pleasure in playing outside!

These glass fish beads, though identical, have a different finish on each side, as you can see. I put a small sterling silver bead in front of each mouth to picture the bubble that ocassionally escapes.

The clasp is made of Israeli sterling silver. There is a flower formed in the design. You can squeeze the hook tighter or pull it looser, as you like.

Composed around some beautiful lampwork I found, every component in this bracelet is to bring out the changing depths of light in these high quality beads.

Frankly, the photo's not so good, and the bracelet's beauty is hidden by poor light. Recently it fell on a ceramic tile floor, and the middle lampwork bead cracked. You can barely see it, but it's there. So I will take the price down $20! \O/ It may happen that I replace the bead, restringing the necklace. Then I would have to price it higher, of course, since it would again be flawless.

I became besotted with these glass lampwork double drilled beads when a friend posted her handiwork. When they came home to my workroom, they sat on the shelf for a long time. They were so lovely (and justifiably expensive) that my design had to be worthy of them.

One day I bought some very high grade tourmaline beads from an overseas dealer, and I knew they belonged with the lampwork. I found the copperlined ebeads, and put them all together in a place where I could consider them, wait till I felt right about a combination. Here before you is the result of my musings. I love to wear this bracelet, assembled on stretchy memory wire. The composition is secured with a beautiful, sterling silver toggle from the silversmiths on the Island of Bali.

This bracelet is made from brightly died dried corn, bits of sea shell, and something else (maybe bark?) I can't identify. I just love it... it looks like a souvenir from some exotic island. The necklace from which I harvested my components looked to be a souvenir from years gone by, enjoying the light of day for awhile, then stored in some attic trunk, forgotten.

I strung the recyclable parts on a bit of flexible memory wire, and finished it off nicely for you to enjoy.
