The aim of the project is to improve the lives of women in poverty through a combination of income-generating activities, education, and financial services. Lady Volta strives to help the young women achieve financial independence and self-sufficiency.

The glass beads are made from crushed recycled bottles colored with pigments and baked in a traditional clay oven. Brass beads are hand made using traditional lost-wax casting processes. The clasp is sterling silver and the necklace is approximately 17" long at the shortest part.

The mack daddy of all the Lady Volta designs I created. This three stranded goddess of necklaces is a bargain price considering how ultimately suave it will make you look. But that is not all readers, oh no, this is socially and environmentally conscious chicness!
