I am offering this high quality print on 8.5 x 11" thick, glossy HP Premium Plus Photo paper of an original painting by me, Diane Casey (Caseynrbq).

The actual image size on this one is 8x10 and it is matted in a white, acid-free, bevel cut, handcut quality matboard that measures 11x14" (perfect for a standard frame size).

The image depicts a dapper, smartly-dressed gentleman sporting a derby hat and a colorful cashmere topcoat playing with a dog that sports similar colors in it's own fur coat. They are having a fun romp in the snow on a cold winter's day. Although it does depict two characters; the man & the dog, the overall painting has an abstract feel to it, since there are no real defined physical features on either the man or the dog. We know what they are simply from the silhouetted shapes. Also, the background has a lot of texture and variations of color for interest and depth.

The man & dog are interacting with each other in this fantasy scene.The big, bright hot golden sun on the upper left side is warming the scene and melting the cold and snow away. The white snow drifts are kind of swirly (I created them with a thin white glaze over the blue background) and the snow has a faint image of both the man and dog reflected in it.

The overall feeling I was trying to convey with this piece is one of a cold winter's day turning into night, with man and his best friend just enjoying the moment.

Crooked Village is a scattered array of stone cottages lining a crooked lane which branches of from the high road on the east. The village is known for its beauty, but nothing very exciting ever really happens here, and the village remains much as it has been throughout its existence. Most folks refer to it as the "sleepy" village because it's always the "same old, same old" as they say.

No matter what time of year you visit, a trip to the Crooked Village yields a pleasant experience with friendly local people & natural beauty. The village maintains an open air sort of feeling, and a cool breeze normally blows in from the east. Once you get there, getting around is relatively easy by foot along the sandy lanes and footpaths, and there's always someone to chat with.

Today it looks like everyone's at home because all the chimney's are smoking. Some would say it's a dull existance, but others would argue that it's the most peaceful village in the world... I'll let you decide. :)

Lost in the Fog" is my abstract depiction of someone who has gone (or has been lead) astray or off the beaten path as they say. Let's face it, there are a lot of distractions in life, and no one is immune to them. Be it drugs, or a succession of bad relationships or jobs, or whatever, these things have the power to affect us in profound ways. We can easily lose track of who we are, or who we thought we were. Sometimes it's hard to take a step back and see ourselves as others see us. We have to look deep inside to our core selves to remember who we are or are supposed to be. That's the feeling I am trying to convey here.

This piece was done in the expressionist style, and has a lot of raw emotion and feeling, as well as texture in it, and was created with the main shade being payne's gray (a dark bluish-gray) a color that I absolutely adore.

The face is a very light pale color, and there is a small area of red on her lips, and her nose is brownish. The payne's gray does have some areas where it is more "purple-ish" as well...

It is my very abstract portrayal of a boy with blue hair. It's done in a "rough" style which lends the painting a "raw" look. Kind of resembles a wood block printing style *(although it is NOT woodblock, just looks like it is) and it's a look I really like right now.

In any event, it looks like this guy has something very important on his mind, and he's opening his mouth and getting ready to say it! Or did I catch him in mid-sentence? Is he pensive, or happy? Is he singing or just speaking?

Did he dye his hair blue by mistake (like the time Greg Brady dyed his hair green by mistake) or is he in a Punk-rock band, and hence the crazy hair? Or is it just a hat on his head? I won't give you the answers, but let's just say he's very outspoken and leave it at that... :)

Drip Coffee Abstract Art Print Matted White 11x14

It is actually a "play on words" or pun.... It's an ACTUAL drip painting of a cup of "drip coffee".... The image size is 8x10" and it is matted in an acid-free white colored matboard.

The colors in the background are meant to be reminiscent of the varying shades of brewed coffee, and for those who take their coffee black, I used the color black for the drip outline of the mug.

Java, Joe, mocha, café au lait, café noir, caffè latte, cappuccino, decaf, espresso, latte, Irish coffee, --whatever you call it, there's nothing like the jolt of Joe that wakes us all up in the morning! Don'cha just love that caffeine buzz first thing in the a.m.?

"Time To Go Green" is a print of an original painting by me. It is matted in a sage green, (almost gray-green) acid-free, handcut matboard that measures 11x14". The actual image area measures 8x10 inches.

With the environment in mind, this piece is an everyday reminder that it's all about reusing, refurbishing and recycling... to save our Earth and energy and money too!

My depiction here is an abstract piece with varying shades of green in the background, and shapes that resemble leaves going from very dark on the bottom to very light green on the top.

In the foreground there are some organically shaped white birch tree branches outlined faintly in brown. There is alot of texture and glazes in this piece as well.

The overall look here is very organic, and you can gaze into it, and be transported to a greener world!

The original painting that this print is based on was created with acrylic glazes and a texturizer called "black lava" most notably in the leaves on the bottom.

"Birdy" is a high quality matted art print of an original painting by me. The image size is 8x10 inches, and it's matted in a navy blue matt to a size 11x14 inches, which is great standard size for framing.

It's my highly textured (and crackled for an aged, antique look) primitive art version of a large raven.

Ravens are large black birds, with a blue-purple iridescence to their feathers, which I tried to convey here (blue/black). In the bird-world, after parrots, crows and ravens are generally considered the brainiest of birds.

I chose to portray a raven here due to the intrigue of historical folklore and mythical legends surrounding them. Raven's have long been known as birds of ill omen, associated with the dead and with lost souls, and the supernatural or occult. They are fascinating and mysterious creatures, that inspired great writers, such as Edgar Allen Poe.

My raven is staring off to the left of the canvas, so the viewer can only imagine what he sees. Is he getting ready to swoop down for a kill? Or is his prey already dead and the raven is simply eyeing his dinner? The overall feeling I wanted to convey with this piece is one of intrigue/mystery and suspense.

To create this, first I laid down heavy texture (spackle), & got the crackled effect so that it looks aged (symbolizing the "historical" aspect of the Raven). Then, I glazed the background texture with a light watery shade of payne's gray. Then I painted the bird and used deeper payne's gray for the blue-black effect & yellow ochre for his beak & feet.

It will come to you in an acid-free matt ready for framing.

3 Martini Sunset 8x10 Matted Art Print City Landscape

This is my colorful abstract depiction of the docks at sunset. It’s what I imagine the city landscape would look like after 3 martinis, possibly in an upscale dinner club on a romantic Friday evening, after a long work week. Of course the scene is New York City, (which is where I used to live).

The color of the sky is a yellowish orange, and the buildings are dark and mostly obscured or eclipsed by the sun... There is water below, and it is a purplish lavendar color and above that there are aged wood “pilings” (Pilings are: poles embedded in the sea bottom and used to support docks, piers, wharves and other structures that you would see at the docks)...

Perhaps the scene is being viewed from aboard a cruise ship, (even more romantic!)

The paint is quite thick in places for an "impasto" effect, and I've also used sgrafito (scratches) in the paint to add interest and definition in some areas (to define the water and buildings a bit, but not too much as I wanted the overall scene to remain abstract)...

I love this piece and it immediately brings to mind romance whenever I view it, it will brighten up any room you put it in.

I signed it in the lower right hand corner.
