Wow - this is a new find for me! Copal... At first when I bought the beads I thought it was supposed to read "Coral" not "Copal" but indeed it is Copal. Copal is a natural resin bead, not unlike Amber. These are incredibly lightweight beads and make great earrings for those who need a lighter weight!

Okay, so garnet is one of my most favorite gems. There are several reasons for this ~ but my top two:
1. Garnet cannot be recreated in a lab.
2. It is my birthstone.

This necklace combines a beautiful faceted barrel shaped black onyx which has been adorned with Bali sterling silver daisies, and a faceted white cats eye rondelle along with Hill Tribe fine silver accents. Yin and Yang is the symbol which represents the ancient Chinese understanding of how things work.
