--The butterfly pendant is 1 3/4 inches wide (4.5 cm) and 1 1/4 inch tall (3 cm). The copper butterfly has a light coating of professional-quality wax to help reduce tarnish. The butterfly is made of a solid copper stamping that I've etched, drilled, polished, and oxidized.
--The necklace chain is copper-plated and the necklace is fastened with a solid copper lobster-style clasp.
--The back of the butterfly pendant has a plain brushed metal finish. The necklace can be worn with the patterned side or the smooth side facing outwards.

Handcut nickel silver has been given a shiny hammered finish. The textured nickel silver is fastened to a squeeze-clasp hair barrette with silver-tone brad rivets. The commercially-made barrette backing is slightly curved to give a good fit.

A retro-looking wood hoop is accented with a small moss agate bead and a Bali-style sterling silver bead. The wood hoops dangle from sterling silver ear wires. As you see in the photos, the wood hoops have a lot of dimension to them-- a subtle rounding at the edge and a concave dip toward the center opening.
