Vintage Framed Numbered Print of Poem A Girls If by HH Fariss

$43.00
This is a vintage framed print of a poem titled, "A Girl's If". The poem is dedicated to Rudyard Kipling and is by HH Farris. This print is also numbered. Originally printed by John Drescher Co. NY. The poem has a lovely illustration around it with bows, bells and flowers. I believe this is in its original frame. Frame is golden wood with decorative edging. Back is paper covered with a wire for hanging. In excellent vintage condition, paper on the back has some small tears and holes but is intact. This would make a great ironic gift :)

7 1/2" x 10 1/2"
19 x 26.7 cm

Please see my store policies section.
I am always available through conversations, if you have any questions.

I will ship international! This toy was manufactured in 1965 and includes 78 "fortune telling" bamboo sticks and instruction manual. The container itself is really lovely in red and green with Chinese characters. The bamboo sticks have numbers and corresponding Chinese characters. Foo Chu was a Chinese sage who invented this fortune telling game circa 500 BC. The container is shaken until one of the bamboo pieces sticks out farther than the others...the number is the key to the fortune. Of course the book included has the meaning of the numbers! In excellent condition.

container is 7 1/2" or 19.1 cm tall

Please see my store policies section.
I am always available through conversations, if you have any questions.

I will ship international!
$87.00
This is a wonderful vintage Derby Vox Electric Clock commemorating Berne, Switzerland. The clock is for mantel/shelf or for the wall. It has both a hanger and moveable legs for standing. The clock is super heavy and is made of beautiful midcentury design brass or brass plate. The clock face is an authentic aquatint of Berne's Zytglogge (clock tower). The aquatint further illustrates an 18th century city scene. The aquatint is titled La Tour de l'Horloge (the clock tower) and is marked G. Lory del. 1794 and F. Hegi sc. Made after one of Gabrielle Lory's paintings. I haven't seen any other clocks by Derby Vox of this type, and I haven't seen any G. Lory aquatint or lithographs used in a clock, so I would consider this a rare piece. The clock is not currently working, but could be fixed. In all other regards, this piece is in excellent condition. There is some slight wear to the frame (see photos). This will ship flat rate domestic, because of the weight of the clock.

8 1/4" x 9 1/2"
20.9 x 24.2cm

Please see my store policies section.
I am always available through conversations, if you have any questions.

I will ship international! The cape is constructed of super warm virgin wool in a lovely brown, tan and grey plaid, with hints of red throughout. The lining is red satin. The original tag is intact. This cape is in great condition. The last button is a bit loose, the lining has a few pull marks, and it could use a cleaning along the inside hem. There is no musty, cigarette or moth ball odor. The cape is gussetted at back, has a 4 button closure (there is an extra on the inside of the jacket), and the plaid matches up almost perfectly in the front. This cape is a stunner! I believe this doll is part of their 'Inge' series. This doll has Schildkroet's turtle in diamond stamp on the back of her neck and is numbered 16/16 1/2. This tool could also be used for darning socks, I would think. The bottom is slightly rounded. The handle is lathe turned and painted black, although the paint is chipping. This would be best for display. Perfect for a rustic kitchen! In good condition, paint is chipping and masher has scratches and patina. This watering can is dark orange plastic with a gold flower detail on the side. This can holds enough water for one or two plants. The spout is very narrow, which would make it easy to reach into a plant with tightly clustered leaves. This would also be perfect for a child to use in the garden, since the size is perfect for small hands. In great condition, there is some discoloration on the inside and some 'patina' to the exterior.

11" long x 5 1/2" tall
27.9 x 13.9 cm

Please see my store policies section.
I am always available through conversations, if you have any questions.

I will ship international!
Vintage 1945 Wooden Erector Set Erector Junior No. 5 by Gilbert

$44.00
This is an incomplete vintage erector set by Gilbert. Gilbert produced this Erector Junior No. 5 in 1945. Gilbert was already using steel in their erector sets, but since this is a post-war set and steel was still scarce, wood was used. Gilbert was an American company based out of Connecticut. This is an incomplete, but still wonderful set. Everything will come in a vintage El Verso cigar box, although there are some pieces too large.

What is included in this set are:
long pieces - 5/8" x 11 5/8" (1.6x29.5cm) - 2 square, 5 flat
medium pieces - 5/8" x 6" (1.6x15.3cm) - 17 flat
short pieces - 5/8" x 3 3/8" (1.6x8.6cm) - 17 flat
26 long nose connectors
9 short nose connectors
4 dowels - 5 1/4" or 13.3cm
4 small wheels - 1 1/16" or 2.7cm
5 large wheels - 2 1/16" or 5.2cm
1 sign
3 broken pieces of various sizes
This set is in good condition, some pieces are broken or cracked since this set was played with. I think these flaws add to the character of these items. Wouldn't this set be a veritable treasure chest of ideas for arts and crafts? Collage, diorama, assemblage, jewelry, craft displays. Or just neato as is.

Please see my store policies section.
I am always available through conversations, if you have any questions.

I will ship international! This doll is a wearing the dress and mantilla typical of a Spanish dancer, although this doll was made in Mexico. This doll has a lovely hand painted and distinctive face, turquoise flowers in her hair and even has her original tag. Lovely black lace and 'Wedgwood' blue dress complete with slip and pantaloons. Unfortunately her fan is missing, her mantilla comb and stand are broken. It was originally intended to be as an ashtray, but would also be great used as a bowl for keys, jewelry or just for display. This ashtray is a heavy ceramic in a dark moss green glaze. The interior design is by Lisa Larson, in her typical style and details a man upside down on a hose. Really lovely. In relief in tan, yellow, blue and light green glazing. The bottom is marked Gustavsberg. Lisa Larson's sticker is missing although you can see where it once was. This bowl is in excellent condition, there appears to be a small smudge of nailpolish on the rim, otherwise there are no mars, chips or cracks. This is a scarce piece, I've seen none other like it.

8" square x 1 1/2" deep
20.3 x 3.8 cm

Please see my store policies section.
I am always available through conversations, if you have any questions.

I will ship international!
Vintage 60s Bromma Sweden Studio Bowl in Blues

$14.00
This is a vintage 1960s studio bowl made from terracotta and then glazed. The bowl has 3 bands of blue in varying colors (light blue, turquoise and medium blue) on the inside and one band on the outside. Inside there is an etched geometric graphic pattern radiating from the center. The bottom of the bowl is numbered and marked Bromma, Sweden. Bromma is a borough of Western Stockholm known for its ceramic studios. I am not sure which studio this bowl has originated from. In good condition, there is a chip in the glaze on the inside of the bowl, and two on the foot of the bowl. There are also two hairline cracks, one with a small chip. Despite these flaws this is a beautiful bowl and is perfect for a collection!

5 3/4" diameter x 2 1/4" deep
14.6 x 5.7 cm

Please see my store policies section.
I am always available through conversations, if you have any questions.

I will ship international!
Vintage Victorian Silver Folding Lorgnette Spectacles

I believe these to be sterling silver, but I am unable to find a stamp or marking anywhere to be 100% sure. The lorgnettes fold at the bridge. They would have originally had a handle attached at one side, however, it has been removed. It was most likely made of a precious material and was either sold or fashioned into something else. Because the handle was removed the glasses are broken on one side and the lens has fallen out. The bridge is also warped on one side. These would be great to restore, re-purpose or to have as a display. Lenses are in excellent condition.

3 3/4" x 1 1/8"
9.5 x 2.8 cm

Please see my store policies section.
I am always available through conversations, if you have any questions.

Thanks for stopping by!

These date to circa 1915. The pince-nez have a spring nose pad mechanism for fitting on the nose. They do not fold. There is a hole on one lens which most likely originally had a chain attached to a hair pin. The nose pads are still covered in their original tortoise shell. The bridge is slightly bent, I think from wear. The lenses have 2 tiny chips on the edges.
The case is a decorative hammered design aluminum with a velvet lined interior. The latch is broken, otherwise in great condition.

glasses are:
4" x 1 1/4"
10.2 x 3.2 cm
case is:
4 1/2" x 2"
11.4 x 5.1 cm

Please see my store policies section.
I am always available through conversations, if you have any questions.

Thanks for stopping by!

The pendant is .925 sterling silver 22 kt gold vermeil. The inside is enameled with a celestial scene (dark blue with gold stars) and there is an enameled unicorn figurine standing on grass within the heart. There is a diamond on the bail. This nightgown has lace and ribbon straps, a dropped waist, embroidered flower beaded accents and a button down front. This is a long nightgown with a pretty zig-zag hem adorned with lace. There is also lace along the bust and waist. Very feminine and pretty. In great vintage condition, although the cotton is a bit faded. Original tag is attached but is extremely faded. Freshly hand washed and air dried. I think that with a plain slip this nightgown could also be worn as a summer dress, or a swimsuit cover up.

Size L
18" or 45.7 cm at bust
19" or 48.2 cm at waist
49 1/2" or 125.8 cm long
(all measurements are flat measurements)

Some sizes are approximated if the garment is not marked.
