This is one of my watercolor bird paintings, transferred to cotton fabric. It is available both plain and with foliage.

The image itself is about 3 x 2-1/2 inches, and it is available in smaller sizes as well. You can stitch it to anything you please. Of course the watermark will not appear on it.

Antique Baby dress 100 years old great condition

This christening dress comes from the Wexford area of Ireland, and is in very good condition for its age -- 100 years old perhaps more but not less. It has delicate lace trim, ruching, and hand embroidery, white on white. It's a strong fabric and there are no tears as far as I can see.

The first two little dresses I altered were actually real baby dresses, but little ones are hard to find, so I made my own.

This gorgeous piece was cut freehand out of coffee-dyed cotton muslin, and backed with a heavier fabric. It has a lightly stuffed heart made out of old deep BURGUNDY velvet (the color doesn't scan well and looks black in the photo), embellished with gold beads, a tiny blue bead, vintage lace, tulle and cheesecloth.

Dimensions:
14 x 12 inches.
