But more seriously, i love these little charms because they incorporate the traditional korean decorative knotting art form called 'maedeup'. Maedeup is a form of knotting through which one can create various decorations (see the flowery pattern on the top).

These charms also have the most beautiful needlepoint and tassel work. Isn't the butterfly shape so lovely?!?

I guess its redundant to say on Etsy, but these Korean Lovers Magnets are all handmade. The concept is much like Mr. Potato Head meets Play-Doh. But unlike play-doh, the rubbery material with which these are made out of are quite durable and scentless.

These figures are wearing traditional korean wardrobes (called 'han-bok').

These actually make great wedding reception party favors, housewarming gifts, toys and just great all-around decoration on your refrigerator or magnetic board.

These magnet dolls are about 2.5 inches in height. Petite huh?

These figures are wearing traditional korean wardrobes (called 'han-bok'). These dolls are of an older Korean couple. You can tell the age of the couple by their headdress. For example, the hat that the gentleman is wearing indicates that he is older/married and of a genteel class and the way the lady's hair is styled indicates the same.
