I love making these dragonscale books, because I love the idea of having the perfect wizard's spellbook!

This book is a gorgeous, deep red: just like a garnet! Each scale was shaped by hand out of polymer clay - this is NOT a collage of stones or shells! I painted the scales with paint I mixed myself :)

6" x 9"

Made from a blank Canson sketchbook, about 200 white pages ready to use! Well-sealed and made to be durable within reason ;)

Great for many uses! Sketchbook, journal, guestbook, scrapbook, whatever you desire!

I had this scene in my head for a while and doing all those blades of grass nearly undid me! But it is worth it, because it is really pretty, with depth and iridescent highlights and the pond in the background has actual "water" in it! :D

More mushroom love! And it is great to touch as well as look at :)

Bronze Dragon Box

6" x 9" x 2" Wooden box decorated with polymer clay and acrylic, features real glass eyes with hand-coloured eyes. I wanted this box to look a little like old bronze or dark-stained carved wood, but it's still got a nice degree of iridescence to it, very dragony :) The inside is matte black with an added little liner of material to make the fit snug without sticking too much hopefully.

Photos don't do this box justice, especially since his glass eyes are so shiny and foiled most of my attempts to capture their colour. They are yellow and orange in most lights.

Great for keepsakes or the coffeetable! Also great for keeping tarot decks or gaming cards and other gaming supplies :)

Peacock Book

I saw a really beautiful stained glass window the other day that had a gorgeous peacock, reminded me of another peacock stained glass window from years ago. Peacocks are such a wonderful excuse for vivid colour and a nice challenge to my patience! LOL

8.5" x 11" blank artist quality sketchbook (200 pages)
Polymer clay hand-sculpted image, painted and sealed with acrylic (and once again, the shiny nature of the final sparkly look makes it really hard to photograph to do it justice LOL Hence the glare...)

Real glass eye! It seems to follow you as you tilt the book ^_^

I did the texture on those tail feathers one line at a time, that part wasn't actually too bad!

It's sooooo colourful, the blue is so deep and intense, ohhhh it's a treat for the eyes ^_^

Great for many uses! Sketchbook, journal, guestbook, scrapbook, whatever you desire!
