Rainbow Swirl Large Mixing Bowl

Rainy day? Kids bored? Pull out this bowl and make a batch of happy cookies. Also great as a salad bowl for the dinner table or parties. The uses are endless, and the bright colors are sure to bring smiles.

The photos don't completely represent the colors.... there is Red, Orange, Bright Yellow, Bright Green, Deep Blue, and Purple. In the photos its hard to tell the difference between the Blue & Purple, but in person its very different.

My sense of humour comes out in this piece. The night I painted it my friend and I were laughing our butts off.

Pitcher holds 1 litre (maybe a bit more) and is 8 inches tall.

**The handle of this pitcher was broken off prior to firing. After firing it was re-attached using automotive strength epoxy. It is probably stronger than it was before. Aesthetically, the break does not affect the piece. Usability, with normal use and care there should not be any issues. I would hand wash the piece... unless you're clumsy... then I'd have someone else do it...

~ A Stylish Plate for the Single Guy ~

This plate was painted to have a slightly more masculine feel...but still be whimsical. Its painted in blues, greens and browns (all very manly colors...).

It is 12" square and would make a great serving plate as well.

A swirling rainbow vortex is sucking in these helpless blue stars...

( Ok, so I watched too much sci-fi..)

Its still a bright, pretty plate.

For display only. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.

There was a reaction with the glaze & bisque, so the glaze did not stick during the firing process. It is one small area, which I have to look for carefully (since I did such a good job matching the paint--I used an acrylic, then clear coated the spot)

Monarch Butterfly Box

This piece is a great example of "Waste Not, Want Not"....

The butterfly had the tiniest hairline crack...now that its painted, glazed and fired I can't find it (or remember where it was).

The trinket box lost its cover. It was very sad. I told it, don't worry, I'll make you a new cover. It was skeptical.

The cover was a drip plate for a flower pot. The flower pot went off to join the circus or something... well actually it got dropped... but don't tell the drip plate, its been through enough already.

Now, through the magic of paint, glaze, an 1800 degree kiln, and bullet-proof epoxy (ok, maybe its not bullet proof...) we have a lovely Butterfly Round Trinket Box.

Hand wash gently if it gets dusty.

Sweet Enough 3-D Tile

Bold black swirls on a moody blue sponged background. Completely OOAK, not just because all my pieces are, but the paint was mixed as I was painting and that combination will never exist again. Pretty cool huh?

This is a large cereal bowl sized bowl. Deep and with wide opening. Would be great for salad, cereal, ice cream, soup, noodles. Basically anything that you would typically eat from a bowl.

Kitchen Utensils, Paint Brushes, Just about anything would feel special in this container. As I'm looking at it the options are just popping into my head:

1. Kitchen Utensils
2. Paintbrushes
3. Knitting needles
4. You could put your mail in it
5. It could be used for a potted plant
6. Hide extra TP in.
7. Stick a plain jar candle in it
8. Put in on your craft table... you will definitely find something to put in it.
9. Put it on the coffee table to put alllllll the remotes in.
10. Put some ice in it and chill a bottle of wine.
