$12.00
This is an English translation booklet of the 'Minigama' book by Mr. Akira Yoshida, which is written in Japanese. (ISBN4-575-29122-6) It is an instruction book on how to make your own mini-kiln. The size of the basic minigama is about 20" long, 12" wide. It has the basic components of a kiln: air intake-opening, grates, stoke hole, ware chamber, flue, and chimney. He introduces the firing process to be 3 hours long, using charcoal and a hair dryer.

I translated the book into a booklet and drew the illustrations with Mr. Yoshida's consent. The booklet is 22cm x 18cm (8.5inches x 7.25inches), 43 pages.

This booklet tells how to make your own wood firing kiln that is small, portable and can be fired at your own leisure - a minigama (a mini kiln.)
From the basics of making the minigama to techniques on how to best use the kiln are included in this book for everyone to enjoy. It is for those who are at the introductory level of ceramics, who want their own kiln, who already have their own kiln... etc.
The minigama is easy to use for the introductory level. Yet, it has the capacity for every technique that goes into firing. It will satisfy even the advanced potter.
This book also includes instructions for making a kamigama (paper kiln), which is used for bisque firing the minigama.
Please make use of the kiln for experimenting with techniques and materials or just to have fun with friend potters.

I will ship internationally. Shipping to Canada and Mexico is $3.00, so total of $15.00. To the UK, it is $9.50, total of $21.50.
For other places, please let me know to where.

Thank you.
