100% cotton, our bras are double thickness, and hold their shape even without bones or wires.

This version is cuteness itself, combining girl-next-door gingham with abstract daisies. The main body is soft red and ivory checks, while the cups are ivory daisy shapes on red, with navy or royal blue centres. The bra (including the cups) is lined in the red and ivory check print, there's a narrow, biscuit coloured lace trim around the entire garment, and a sweet tomato red satin bow between the cups.

The straps are blush coloured, picot edged, satin-fronted, plush-backed elastic with white metal rings and adjusters. The bra is lightly elasticated for a snug fit. It fastens at the back with a standard two hook adjustable closing.

100% cotton print, featuring a red collared, patch-eyed terrier cavorting on a bright sky blue background. There is a frothy creamy coloured lace front panel and all round trim, and a deep red satin bow on the front waist, and tiny coffee coloured satin bows on the back garters. The garters are detachable (enabling you to ring the changes with different coloured garters - see our sky blue satin ones for instance) blush coloured, picot edged, satin fronted, plush backed elastic with white metal hooks and adjusters. The tartan print used in this garter belt is a reproduction of a 1930s original, so it has a wonderfully authentic retro look. 100% cotton with a soft ivory background, the tartan comprises shades of red, navy blue and mustard. The lower edge is trimmed with a narrow, scalloped white lace, and the waistband sports broader, red and white heart patterned lace. There's a flower patterned white lace front panel, adorned with a red satin ribbon rosebud, and two saucy red satin bows above the back garters.

The belt is supplied with one set of garters; these are broad, red, satin-fronted, plush-backed elastic with white metal adjusters. They attach to the belt with white metal hooks. Inspired by real life events - viz the number of otherwise respectable guests whose first request upon arriving for a visit here at our Highland atelier is 'Have you got a spare carrier bag for my dirty washing?', say hello to the traveller's laundry bag: a 100% cotton bag with twisted cotton pullstrings that will hold all the dirty drawers and socks you will ever own. It measures approx 14 inches by 20 inches, and is fully serged and fully washable.

The centre panel of this version features a jaunty, whimsical print of brightly coloured pets on ice: cats and dogs (including a very attractive BLUE scottie dog!) all snuggled up in woolly hats and scarves have taken to the ice on skates and sledges in order to deliver their holiday packages. The background is a deep sky blue, dotted with snowflakes, and the animals and their clothes are bright primary colours. Above and beneath it are panels of a 1930s reproduction plaid: red with deep navy blue, mustard and ivory: soft vintage-looking hues. There's a broad band of deep red satin ribbon bedecked with holly leaf appliques to finish the whole thing off.

This version packs quite a punch of victorian nostalgia: deep, pillarbox red with smoky tan, olive, bottle green and maroon stripes, it has a centre panel depicting a snowy village preparing for festivities, with a good deal of sleighriding, shopping, meeting and greeting, and excitement going on among the pine trees, shops and churches, all in subtle shades of red, sage, ivory and black. To finish off, there's a band of broad, deep red satin ribbon trimmed with sage and red coloured pine tree appliques.

Here's a passionate little item. The stripes are reminiscent of burlesque style, while the ribbon print is romantic, flirty and frivolous.

100% cotton, our bras are double thickness throughout. There are no bones or wires, but they hold their shape nicely while still being soft and comfy.

The main body is black and smoky burgundy stripes: softly muted shades that are elegant and grown up. They are perfecly matched by the print used for the cups: trailing burgundy ribbons and bows on black. The bra is completely lined in the striped fabric. There's a very retro-burlesque black net lace trim around the upper and lower edges, and a black satin bow between the cups.

The straps are broad, black, satin-fronted, plush-backed elastic, with black metal rings and adjusters. The bra is lightly elasticated for a snug fit. It closes with a traditional two hook adjustable fastener.

For some the mere whiff of an Eiffel Tower is enough to send temperatures soaring - so hold on to your pacemaker!

You can wear these knicks as sleepwear or underwear (or both if you can't bear to be apart from them). You can also attach garters (available separately) via discreet tabs beneath the lace, for a truly authentic 1930s look. We now stock garter sets in a plethora of different styles and colours to enable you to ring the changes.

The fabrics are all cotton: the bodice is a black background overlaid with trailing pinky red ribbons and bows; the main portion is an ivory background on which burgundy eiffel towers are uniformily and closely arranged; they have little burgundy and black flags flying from their tops.

We've trimmed the legs and bodice with our favourite 40s-ish, burlesque-ish, black net scalloped lace, and put a big black satin bow on the front. The straps are narrow, black, satin-fronted, plush-backed elastic with black metal adjusters. There is a three popper under-crotch fastening.

Bras are back! We've had a revamp to achieve a better fit and great shape, even without wires.

Still 100% cotton, the new model is double thickness, which means it's a lot more substantial than its predecessor.

This version once again combines the boudoir classic colours: black, white and pink. The main body is narrow black and white stripes, while the cups are from the sweetest print of little girls in ballet costumes surrounded by rosebuds, and ballet slippers; all in beautifully soft pastel shades on a black background. Romantic, charming and very retro.

The bra (including the cups) is lined in the black and white stripe print; there's a narrow, heart patterned black lace trim around the entire garment, and a sweet pink satin bow between the cups.

The straps are broad, black, satin-fronted, plush-backed elastic with black metal rings and adjusters. The bra is lightly elasticated for a snug fit. It fastens at the back with a standard two hook adjustable closing.

These pants are meant as sleepwear, but we know indie girls like to wear them under summer frocks, or over patterned tights with skirts. Feel free to let your imagination go wild - spring is here and summer can't be far behind!

So here's a pair that will look particularly good with all the burlesque inspired black, white and pink items in our shop, but the bold black and white print will really look great with any colour.

White, black and charcoal diamond shapes form a wonderfully retro harlequin print. The fabric is 100% cotton. The legs are trimmed with sheer black lace and a black satin bow.

They will fit up to 42 inch hips; the encased elastic waistband measures 28 inches unstretched and will stretch to fit up to 38 inches. (Let us know your waist size and we will adjust to fit you before we post them). The inside leg measures 3 inches and from waist to hem on the outside leg, the measurement is 15.5 inches.

We're wallowing in a sort of innocent decadence this week -if that makes any sense: all on a theme of scandal, gossip, intrigue and outrage.

Here's another item that crosses the Moulin Rouge with a Bond Street hatbox, to produce a frothy, winsome, flirty Bertie camisole. It matches perfectly with our Scandalous Humbug knickers. Wear as lingerie, sleepwear or even on the beach.

Two 100% cotton prints: the bodice is classic black and white stripes, and the main body a stunning white on black large Eiffel Tower and flower design. The hem and bodice are edged in pink and white scalloped lace, and there is a tiny pink satin bow on either side of the hem and also on the bodice where it joins the straps. The straps are palest rose, flock fronted, satin-edged, plush-backed elastic and have black metal adjusters. As a final flourish, there is a three layered corage of black and white fabrics with a tiny pale pink rose at the centre.

This camisole incorporates a lightly elasticated bodice for a more defined shape and extra support - an option always on offer when ordering nightdresses or camisoles.

There are so many ways to wear tartan. The muted 1930s shades used here can make it nostalgic and romantic or it can be cute or kitschy or rebellious or punky...

All depends what you put with it. If you wore our red tartan garter belt with these blue tartan knickers it would make quite a statement! Team them with romantic roses and hearts camisole and it would take on an entirely different atmosphere.
