First cataloged as a star, The FURRY NEST NEBULA is actually an immense star forming area. Strange shapes and textures can be found in neighborhood of The FURRY NEST NEBULA . The unusual shapes originate from fine interstellar dust reacting in complex ways with the energetic light and hot gas being expelled by the young stars. The FURRY NEST NEBULA, given a technical designation of XBY-000-06, lies about 768 light-years away towards the constellation of Mad Crafter and spans about 4.9 light-years.

This unique needle felted brooch was born after I got some gorgeous one-of-a-kind spinning batts made by Steph Gorin of Loop. The textures, shades and glitzes of these beauties inspired me to create Universe inspired items and to bring some magical images from magical Crafters Sky to the earth.

The brooch is needle felted by hand and with felting machine/embellisher onto cheer fabric and could be worn on everyday clothing or evening gown, on hat or bag...

There is safety pin on the back.

This brooch measures approx 6 (10) cm X 9 (13) cm / 2.4 (3.9)" X 3.5 (5.1)"

As this brooch is really delicate and has lots of beetling fibers - please wear it gently! I do not suggest wear it under outerwear!

I used latest "fruit" of my polymer clay experience to make this one-of-a-kind necklace.

Look carefully - this unusual focal bead is not glass bead, as it seems. I crafted it from Kato Polyclay and Liquid Kato Polyclay. It took quite a while to make it, but I like how it turned out.

The focal bead of necklace measures approx 1.3 cm X 2,2 cm / 0.5" X 0.9"

Chain is made of seed beads on illusion cord. Total length of the necklace is approx 45,5 cm / 17.9" Finished with silver tone safe clasps.
