This fun, whimsical ring is made with one of my small needle-felted wool nests in shades of raspberry and blackberry. I carefully sewed tiny glass beads in the center which can represent eggs or seeds or whatever you like!

The adjustable ring base is a silver colored basemetal with a pretty leaf pattern embossed into it. Nest sizes vary from ring to ring but most stand just under ½“ (1 cm) tall and measure around ⅞“ (2 cm) across.

Each ring is made to order and will vary slightly from the image shown.

I ship first class within 3 days of receiving payment.

This twig from a cherry tree was knocked down in a fierce nor'easter and brought inside to bloom.

Earrings - Ghost Fronds

Earrings measure 1 7/8 inches (4.5 cm) in length including earwire, 5/8 inches (1.5 cm) wide, are about 1/8 inch (4 mm) thick and all the metal is sterling silver.

Color: Metallic golden green

These earrings are cute, modern and lightweight!

I made these polymer clay earrings using the "mica shift" technique. I impressed the clay with a fern pattern and then sanded the ovals so only the ghost of the image remains, the image really appears to be 3-d but the surface is smooth and shiny.

All earrings come in a gift box with a raffia ribbon (removable, so you can look inside and then put it back on if it's a gift!) I ship first class within 2 days of receiving payment.

Egg Ornament - Polymer Clay Over Eggshell, Yellow Flowers

What is it about an egg? I am obsessed with the perfect shape and all the symbolism therein. I hang them all over my house year 'round.

I created this egg ornament by (carefully) blowing out a large chicken eggshell. I covered it (so carefully!) with slices of a polymer clay cane I made with the image of a yellow flower. Then I baked and sanded it to give it a smooth finish. I make all my own designs and I don’t use any paint, all the colors come from the clay.

When it's got a hard protective casing of cured polymer clay, the egg is not so fragile. (True that, I've dropped them in the sink while sanding and they just bounce around unharmed, phew!)

This ornament hangs by a green ribbon through a brass loop. Though I may use the same patterns on several eggs, all the eggs are slightly different, couldn't repeat them if I tried.

Each egg comes nested in its own bed of shredded tissue attractively arranged in a clear plastic box adorned by a raffia ribbon. I'll include information about how I made the egg. (You'll still end up explaining "Yes, a real eggshell!" to everyone who sees it.)

I created this flower pin by needle felting beautifully hand-dyed wool roving the gray is from the enchanting http://geekpixie.etsy.com ). I sculpted each petal individually then felted them all together to make the layers. I love going through my vintage button collection to find the perfect match to sew in the center.

I gave a flower to a friend at the holidays and someone thought I had just cut the petals out of felt fabric, then they saw me endlessly poking at loose wool with tiny needles and realized it’s a whole other craft!

I have made my popular felted nest into a ponytail holder!

I created it by thoroughly needle felting wool into a circle. I then sewed tiny, white, matte glass teardrop shaped beads in the center and sewed and glued a sturdy brown ponytail elastic on the reverse.

I fell in love with fabric flowers when I worked in a fine crafts gallery. I have a whole garden’s worth! I love wearing them on hats, scarves, jacket lapels, bags and sweaters. Now I’m delighted to offer my own felty version.

I created this flower pin by needle felting beautifully hand-dyed wool and gray alpaca roving. I sculpted each petal individually then felted them all together to make the layers. I love going through my vintage button collection to find the perfect match to sew in the center.

I gave a flower to a friend at the holidays and someone thought I had just cut the petals out of felt fabric, then they saw me endlessly poking at loose wool with tiny needles and realized it’s a whole other craft!

This fun and whimsical novelty ring is made with one of my small needle-felted wool nests in oranges and greens. I carefully sewed tiny glass beads in cream and golden green in the center which can represent eggs or seeds or whatever you like!

Egg Ornament - Polymer Clay Over Eggshell, Geology

What is it about an egg? I am obsessed with the perfect shape and all the symbolism therein. I hang them all over my house year 'round.

I created this egg ornament by (carefully) blowing out a large chicken eggshell. I covered it with polymer clay swirls of white, black, mint and various browns and gold polymer clay (so carefully!) baked, sanded and buffed it to give it a lovely smooth surface. I make all my own designs and I don’t use any paint, all the colors come from the clay.

When it's got a hard protective casing of cured polymer clay, the egg is not so fragile. (True that, I've dropped them in the sink while sanding and they just bounce around unharmed, phew!)

This ornament hangs by a thin white ribbon through a painted brass loop. Though I may use the same patterns on several eggs, all the eggs are different, couldn't repeat them if I tried.

Each egg comes nested in its own bed of shredded tissue attractively arranged in a clear plastic box adorned by a raffia ribbon. I'll include information about how I made the egg. (You'll still end up explaining "Yes, a real eggshell!" to everyone who sees it.)

Ring - Pink Oval, Polymer Clay Optical Diamonds

I made this whimsical ring using the "mica shift" technique in polymer clay. I impressed sparkly pink clay with a diamond pattern and then sanded it so the ghost of the image remains but the surface is smooth and shiny. The effect is a shimmery 3-D optical illusion of depth and movement.

The adjustable ring base is a silver colored basemetal with a pretty leaf pattern embossed into it.

Sleepy Sheep - needle felted friend

This little wooly friend is approximately 3 inches (7cm) long, 1 3/4 inches (4.5cm) wide and 1 1/4 inches (3.5 cm) tall. Sleepy Sheep has a creamy white face with a little pink in the ears and a mottled brown/gray wooly coat.

Sleepy Sheep is a needle felted creature I sculpted with loose wool roving. Wool roving is like a cloud of cotton candy, when I poked it repeatedly with barbed needles it became a solid fabric, I was careful to poke it into the shape of a Sleepy Sheep :)

I will be making Sleepy Sheep to order so yours will be unique and perhaps not exactly like the one in the picture, but it will be very close as they are all cousins :)

The nest parts vary in size between ⅝ inches and ¾ inches (1.5 – 2 cm) across and about ½ inch (1 cm) thick. The bobby pin parts are 2 ½ inches (6.5 cm) long.

I securely sewed freshwater pearls as eggs in the center.

Necklace - Cat Face Pendant in Polymer Clay

I created this pendant entirely from polymer clay! You can see a series of pictures I took documenting the process by copying and pasting this Flickr address into your browser bar:

The pendant is about 1 1/4 inches (3 cm) across and about 3/16 (5 mm) thick. It has a smooth matte finish.

I strung it on a 16 inch (46 cm) brown silicone cord with a sterling jump ring. Let me know if you would prefer a black cord or either cord at 18 inches.

I used a picture of my fab kitteh, Chester, to make a stylized cat face with different colors of clay. I made a log with the picture running through the whole length, then I cut slices and baked them, then I sanded them smooth!

This pendant is a slice of the log so the picture is on both sides.

I created this flower pin by needle felting beautiful wool roving. I sculpted each petal individually then felted them all together to make the layers. I love going through my vintage button collection to find the perfect match to sew in the center. This one is a vintage bakelite button in a gorgeous burnt orange.

This pin measures 3 ½ inches (9 cm) across with a one inch pinback.

I gave a flower to a friend at the holidays and someone thought I had just cut the petals out of felt fabric, then they saw me endlessly poking at loose wool with tiny needles and realized it’s a whole other craft!

I fell in love with fabric flowers when I worked in a fine crafts gallery. I have a whole garden’s worth! I love wearing them on hats, scarves, jacket lapels, bags and sweaters. Now I’m delighted to offer my own felty version.

Materials: polymer clay and sterling silver

Length: Earrings measure just over 1 ¾ inches (4.5 cm) long including sterling earwire.

Color: magenta, coral, yellow, white and lime with orange and mixed colors on the back

I created these polymer clay earrings by mixing my own colors then arranging thin layers and impressing the stack with a vintage button. All the color is from the clay, I didn't use any paint. After I bake the clay, I hand sand the surfaces to reveal the pattern and buff each piece to a smooth matte finish.

*Each piece is unique, I couldn’t exactly reproduce the results if I tried! The earrings you receive may not be the exact ones in the picture, but will be very, very similar.*

Egg Ornament - Polymer Clay Over Eggshell, Yellow Flowers 2

What is it about an egg? I am obsessed with the perfect shape and all the symbolism therein. I hang them all over my house year 'round.

I created this egg ornament by (carefully) blowing out a large chicken eggshell. I covered it (so carefully!) with slices of a cane I made from polymer clay with the abstract image of a flower. Then I baked and sanded it to give it a smooth finish. I make all my own designs and I don’t use any paint, all the colors come from the clay.

When it's got a hard protective casing of cured polymer clay, the egg is not so fragile. (True that, I've dropped them in the sink while sanding and they just bounce around unharmed, phew!)

This ornament hangs by a green ribbon through a brass loop. Though I may use the same patterns on several eggs, all the eggs are slightly different, couldn't repeat them if I tried.
