This Big Cat makes a nice, bold Ring. It is a metal button from Italy. The metal may contain Nickel. It looks like a drop of Emerald Green of resin was used to highlight the eyes.

This Exotic Cat looks like a Lynx or a Bobcat and has a mystical quality to him.

I found a limited number of these buttons on clearance, and they are no longer being offered. I am definitely keeping one for myself, but sharing the rest with my fellow cat lovers. The wire is a professional quality. It is Fine Silver Plated Copper Wire that has been sealed for a tarnish free shine.

This Ring was designed using both pure Copper and Brass Wire. The focus is a Cool Metal Button. This Button was made in Spain, and has jagged "sun rays' surrounding a Copper colored Resin center with Black spots.

The Shank is pure copper wire. I wrapped Brass wire around the base of the button for contrast and just plain fun.

Handmade 24 gauge Fine Silver Plated Heart Headpin Findings

These Headpins are great for using with pearls. The professional quality wire has a coating over the Silver that protects the finish from tarnishing. The wire has a copper base with fine silver plating.
Since Pearls are sensitive to chemicals, this wire may be preferable to Sterling Silver. 24 gauge is the thinner wire that should accommodate most small holed beads such as pearls.

I created a small heart that is unsoldered. Please refer to the closeup pictures. You will note that I flattened some of the headpins to show the unsoldered edge, but your headpins will have the look of a connected heart. Keep in mind that these headpins are made by hand, so there will be slight variations. I will also do my best to have the size of the hearts as similar as possible.

I also have included a picture of earrings I made where I used these headpins to hang the ear findings. I have also listed the beadcap headpins that I created to hold the Pearl.

This simple Hook Clasp is handmade by me using Professional Wire.It is Gold enamel over Fine Silver plated Copper.

The listing is for the Hook and the Eye as a set.The length for both is approximately 3/4 inch or 20mm.

This listing is for FIVE (5) Sets. I also have a Single listing or can do custom orders.

I prefer hook type clasps for their ease in closure. The wire is 22g which is lighter than my solid metal clasps. They are more delicate, but I work harden the wire by lightly hammering the clasp.

This gold is very bright and pretty and sealed to be maintenance free. If you prefer solid metail, please look at my Brass, Copper, and Sterling Findings.I can also make 14k GoldFill.

14k Gold Fill Handmade Clasp Finding

This Handmade Clasp is made from 14k Goldfill Wire. An elegant loop on each piece. The hook has a secure loop, with a fancy swirl that is easy to connect to a jump ring, wire, or other jewelry component.

I shaped these pieces with a bracelet in mind, so that the connection allows for the bracelet to lie flat on the wrish. If you want the pieces flat (for a necklace, etc), let me know, and I will make yours according to this request.

Each piece is approximately one inch in length.

This cute Bracelet is three strands married with a Hematite Pendant. Genuine Hematite Rondelles are matched with Red Garnet Agate Round Beads and Gold Plated Round Metal Beads for a casual affair. I was thinking about the Florida State Seminoles when I pairs the colors, but these colors are a nice combination for any occasion.

The Hematite is genuine, and not the manmade material that is usually found in jewelry. A very cool element, the center is actually red. That is why it is called Bloodstone. An occasional bead may have a slight blemish that shows this red center.

This style turned out so pretty that I have made several in fun colors. Many with Genuine Freshwater Pearls for a bold, but dressy Fashion Statement. Dressy or casual, a focal Hematite piece is complemented with Genuine Green Freshwater Pearls, Japanese Glass Crystals (not genuine crystal), and Hematite Rondelles. Easy to wear, and a nice fashion statement.

The Hematite is genuine, and not the manmade material that is usually found in jewelry. A very cool element, the center is actually red. That is why it is called Bloodstone. An occasional bead may have a slight blemish that shows this red center.

Very unusual and pretty, you can use as connectors or for putting the clasp in the front or side of your design. With this set, both the hook and the eye are S-clasp, but one Clasp is closed. You can also just use these pieces as two separate hook clasps and I can close the open one.

Copper Wire Wrapped Ching Hai Jade, Green Aventurine, White Glass Bead Necklace

Copper Wire contracted with Green and White makes an elegant or casual necklace. I used pure copper wire to wrap a large Ching Hai Jade Nugget as a centerpiece. Then, I alternated Green Aventurine bordered by Japanese Glass Crystals, Creamy White Glass Beads, and Ching Hai Jade Stars.

This necklace is approximately 17 inches long.

With the stones used, I safely dipped the necklace in a solution of vinegar and salt to remove the copper tarnish. Then, I washed in soapy water with a touch of ammonia. A final rinse and dry is all that is needed to have a shiny, bright copper necklace. Obviously, you don't want to soak the necklace, but the procedure above is a quick and easy way to have a shiny copper. I polished with a light coat of Renaissance Wax to delay tarnishing. If you wish, you can just let the natural copper patina occur.

This simple Hook Clasp is handmade by me using solid Copper Wire. The listing is for the Hook and the Eye as a set.The length for both is approximately one inch or 25mm.

I prefer hook type clasps for their ease in closure. The wire is 20g, so the Clasp is sturdy but not too thick.

I shaped the wire, then hammered it. Then, I put a protective wax that should delay tarnishing. I prefer this finish over enamel or lacquer as you don't have to worry about the finish flaking off.I also find that it is easy and quick to clean pure metals such as copper, brass or silver.

This Copper is very pretty and shiny. It can be polished without every worrying about a finish wearing off like most gold-plated items. I also have listing this finding in Brass and will be adding Sterling Silver.

This Ring features a large Vintage style Button. The diameter is approximately 1 1/4 inches. The Black Button has a wood look and feel, with decorative carvings. Tiny oblong silver and copper dots are arranged in a circle near the button's center.

The Wire is professional quality wire. The core wire is copper that has been plated with fine silver then protectively finished with Gold Enamel. This thicker wire (18 gauge) has a sturdy three wraps ending with a swirl on top. The Size is 7.

This Eyeglasses Holder (convertible Necklace) is made by creating solid Copper wire Links. I used my favorite assortment of luster,glass beads. These beads range between shades of brown and metallic bronze. I alternate round beads with square beads that are separated by glass rondelles.

I also created a large S-Link that allowes these Eye Glasses Holder to be converted to a neckace. Simply insert the link in the rubber holders, so the exchange is quick and easy.

The length is approximately 25 inches long.

I lightly buffed & polished the copper, but left it natural. You should be able to safely remove any tarnish by briefly dipping the piece in a mixture of vinegar & salt, followed by antibacterial soapy water, and a final rinse. However, the vinegar dip is not necessary. The natural patina of the copper will complement the colors in the glass.

If you want, i can put a protective wax finish (no extra charge) on the copper. This will result in a light patina color, but have a protective layer to delay further tarnishing. Just let me know when you purchase.

I used a large rectangle Black Spectrolite gemstone as the center piece for this necklace. This stone has a three dimensional quality, similar to an opal, and the colors sparkle depending on the angle.

This stone is accented by a wire and chainmaille hand design and then I made wire leaves to dress up the necklace. I used small sections of chain, herringbone style wrapped square Black Crystal, and White Glass round beads. Small rondelles finish the necklace with my handmade hook clasp.

My Earwires are typically longer than average. I have had earrings lost due to smaller earwires falling out which is why I prefer longer wires. These wires are approximately one inch long. The wire is 20 gauge which is very sturdy. Earwires are typically 22g (smaller) to 20g. All work fine, but 20g will handle heavier beads, etc.

The Sterling Silver has been hammered for appeal and to harden the wire. This style is typically called fancy, but is also one of my preferred due to its easy of use, and, of course, has a dressier look.

This Bracelet is made by wrapping Glass Beads, separated by Silver Plated Chain. The Center Bead is a Creamy White, and is complimented by Black Rippled Beades with a White Striped Center.

This Bracelet is approximately 8 1/2 inches long and is connected using a Toggle Clasp.Struggling with various Toggle Clasps, I finally figured out the best way to fasten the Toggle easily while also ensuring a secure closure. I added a small silver bead to each Clasp. When securing, you should pull your Toggle through the Circle and this small bead. This allows the Toggle to set in position easily, and you are frustrated at trying to get the Toggle to go through the Connector.

This Triangular Drop was handmade by me using solid copper wire. After shaping the wire, I hammered it, and then polished it to a nice shine. Then I applied a protective wax to delay tarnishing. The Drop is sturdy without being two big. It measures approximately 3/4 inch in width and length.

Use this drop in necklaces, earrings, bracelets, lanyards, keychains and unlimited uses. Many people like copper for its medicinal properties including arthritis.

This Hook Clasp is handmade by me using Copper Wire that has been plated in Fine Silver and coated with a bright Blue finish. The listing is for the Hook and the Eye as a set.The length for both is approximately 1 1/2 inch or 35mm.

I prefer hook type clasps for their ease in closure. The wire is 20g, so the Clasp is sturdy but not too thick. A genuine Denim Lapis gemstone provides a decorative finish that would look nice on any type of jewelry.

I shaped the wire, then hammered it to allow the Fine Silver to show through and complement the gemstone. Then, I put a light laquer coating to protect the finish and prevent any flaking of the enamel.

These Spacers are individually made by me using 20 gauge wire.

I have had this wire for a while. The pink has flaked off in spots which is not typical for this company. The silver you see is actually Fine Silver. The base metal is pure Copper.I love the Hot Pink color, and wanted to find a fun use for this wire. I am making various findings and offering at a much reduced costs due to this flaking. This is a bargain as the price for Copper and Silver is very high right now..

I put a light laquer coating on the wire to prevent any further flaking of the pink coating.I will make these as they are purchased, so your selection may vary slightly.

The size is approximately 1 inch x 1/2 inch for the larger size, and 3/4 inch x 1/2 inch hole for the smaller size.

Handmade Square Hammered Copper Natural Patina-One Inch

I created this pendant by hand.I love working and experimenting with metal. The listing is for the one pictured in the pendant as I don't think I could duplicate it. It as a product of trial & error which I enjoy the most about art.

Using solid Copper Sheet, I hammered and forged this pendant resulting in approximately a size of 1 (ONE) inch square. I am including two jump rings that have also been fabricated by me. The color is achieved through fire, and has no added chemicals (patina, etc). I put a protective professional quality wax (used at the best museums to protect artifacts, documents...), on the surface and the jump rings.

You can use this pendant in either direction depending on how you want to use the jump rings. If you prefer, I can take the unsoldered jump rings out, and you can use the holes at your own discretion.

I customized the back of the pendant with my store name and year.

I am also working on more pendants which will be listed when finished.

This Clasp is handmade by me using Copper Wire that has been enameled with a purple coating. This wire is professional quality and the Coating holds up very well to hammering.

The truth is that I was actually making a Heart shape and wasn't paying attention to the amount of wire I was using. So! I decided to make a different shape which I can't exactly describe. That is why I am calling it a half-heart.

This clasp is two pieces. The Hook is shaped with a fancy S so that the closure will lay flat (for bracelets, etc). If you would prefer the hook to lie flat, let me know, and I will be happy to send a traditional S-Clasp.

They both hang approximately one inch. You don't have to use these pieces as a clasp. They can also serve as connectors for earrings, bracelets, or necklaces.

I am constantly drawn to these acrylic donuts because of the color. There are reflective swirls that appeared white until I added the gold chain and wire. Now the swirls appear gold. Very cool.

I used high quality, freshwater potato pearls in a shiny lavender as accents for this donut. I took little topaz crystals that are also acrylic with a leaf centerpiece.

To complement this pendant, I strung simple, lightweight seed beads on professional quality wire (it will not break or shed, etc).

Very showy, but simple, the necklace is between 15.5 to 16 inches. You can always use a Gold Filled Chain, Leather, etc. if you want to change the look.

The wire used in the wrapping is also professional wire. It is fine silver over copper wire base that has been enameled in gold. The headpins are also handmade by me.

Long Shiny Silver Chain Necklace with Greenish Blue Seafoam Glass Beads

This necklace is a shiny Nickel Silver. It is a simple chain with Glass Beads and Japanese Crystal (Glass) bicones. Each bead is unique, picked from my collection. Some of them I wire-wrapped, one is a white leaf shape with subtle blue-green highlights. One of my favorites is the one painted with a marble swirl.

This necklace is approximately 23 1/2 inches long. I was originally going to make it longer and convertible for holding Eyeglasses. If you are interested in this modifications, let me know for a revised price quote.

Note that some people are sensitive to Nickel, and for that reason, I have not used it. However, Nickel is used in jewelry due to its Shiny appearance, and is often seen in your department stores.

I like to fully disclose my materials so the buyer can make a conscious decision. I have had this chain for a long time, and it has maintained this nice, shiny appearance. So, I will probably start incorporating this material for an inexpensive alternative to Sterling.

This simple Hook Clasp is handmade by me using Professional Wire.It is Gold enamel over Fine Silver plated Copper.

I prefer hook type clasps for their ease in closure. The wire is 22g which is lighter than my solid metal clasps. They are more delicate, but I work harden the wire by lightly hammering the clasp.

This bracelet features genuine turquoise. The small rectangular, center stone has shades of green, blue, and brown. I complimented this piece using brown, glass rondelles. Finally, I added more pretty, pale, green-blue turquoise rondelles.

The stones are connected with my handmade findings in swirls and s-shaped wire work. I also fashioned an easy S-shape for an easy to attach clasp.

I used 22g wire to make all of the finding in these earrings. I created a head pin that cradles this Teal Glass Bead. Then I created spacers with the look of a love knot, and attached to fancy ear wires.

The wire is a professional wire. It is Fine Silver over Copper Wire that has a Gold enamal and finally sealed to protect the finish.

I file all of my ear wires before shipping to ensure a comfortable wear. Unsmooth earwires are often the cause of irritation instead of allergies.

These earrings hang approximately 1 inch and very lightweight.

I prefer this finish over enamel or lacquer as you don't have to worry about the finish flaking off.I also find that it is easy and quick to clean pure metals such as copper, brass or silver.

You don't have to use these pieces as a clasp. They can also serve as connectors for earrings, bracelets, or necklaces.

Handmade 24 gauge Fine Silver Plated Beadcap Headpin Findings

These Headpins are great for using with pearls. The professional quality wire has a coating over the Silver that protects the finish from tarnishing. The wire has a copper base with fine silver plating.
Since Pearls are sensitive to chemicals, this wire may be preferable to Sterling Silver. 24 gauge is the thinner wire that should accommodate most small holed beads such as pearls.

I created a Headpin with a Beadcap that is approximately 5mm in diameter when flat.You can leave them flat or use your closed pliers to make a domed shape. I did this for the Earrings in the picture. The Pearls are 6mm. If you want, I can dome them all for you.

Keep in mind that these headpins are made by hand, so there will be slight variations. Due to the design, the pin is slightly off center, but this only adds to the finished designed.The pictures show the details.

Distinction between Gold Fill and Gold Plated:

We all know that gold is not inexpensive, and these days the spot price hovers between $800-$1,000 per ounce. 14 karat gold filled is the affordable solution. This double strand necklace is approximately 20 inches long. For the first strand, I used tiny Steel Grey Seed Beads to accent the Genuine Citrine Chips. Then, I complemented these autumns colors by stringing Genuine Yellow Turquoise Barrel Beads separated by Gold Seed Beads. A Vintage-Style plated chain with double links connect the to stands together. To finish the necklace, I handcrafted a pure Brass Heart Clasp. The natural patina of the brass marries the Chain and Gemstone strands together.

Yellow Turquoise is actually a different Gemstone, Serpentine which is thought to help communication, intuition and creativity, and bring wisdom.

TIPS:

Please note that this bead is Glass, and does not meet the true definition for Crystal. Czech and Japanese Glass are often used in jewelry, and sold as Crystal. Swarovski is Crystal, and specifies a particular cut, and lead.

Care should be exercised to prevent bending or snagging the wire. I store many of my jewelry pieces in ziplock bags. With these tips, your jewelry will outlast many of us!

The copper in this bracelet was all constructed using wire. I took great care in shaping, filing, sanding, and polishing this piece resulting in a smooth, shiny surface. All jump rings have been soldered for extra security.

The center stone is actually a Crazy Horse Jasper, although it looks more like Picture Jasper. It reminds me of a western landscape in the fall. Complimenting this piece are rectangular Red Tiger's Eye stones.

This piece measures between 8 and 8 1/2 inches and securely fastens with a handformed clasp.

The bracelet comes in a nice jewelry box for easy wrapping. Thanks for looking.

Hammered Copper Wide Band Ring

I created this Ring with a heavy gauge wire I found in my garage. After flattening the wire, I randomly hammered star shapes and little dings, plus used filing to get the unusual shape. The color you see ranges from yellow to blue to green and is all natural copper-no added paint, pantina, etc. I work with the metal until I am satisfied with the color, but never know what I will end up with as many factors effect the end result.

Since the band is so wide, I made it adjustable to slide over the knuckle. And since metal is sensitive to constant bending, the wearer should have an approximate Ring Size of 5 1/2 to 6 1/2. This will allow for the finger to naturally size the ring with a small separation.

I love to play with wire and experiment with unusual designs. I also strive to make my jewelry as low maintenance and resistant against breakage.

These Earrings feature Glass Beads framed with Purple-Green Glass Beads. They have a nice sparkle in the light. I used Professional Gold Wire for the wrapping, but the Ear Wires are 14k Gold Fill. These earrings hang approximately 1 1/2 inches.

I only make one of each type of jewelry, but these Earrings definitely stand out as being one of the most unique pieces I've made.

Using pieces of Copper Wire, I created Rosy, Red Headpins that show up in the center of these Flowers with an extra one posing as a Berry. There are two different flowers and a leaf glass bead on each earring. I wrapped various gauges of copper wire to create a more vine look. To get the symmetry and add a little extra style, I shaped an hammered a copper wire in a leaf shape.

I accented this design with a genuine Turquoise Rondelle. The Earrings are 14k Gold Filled.

The length is approximately two inches as shown in the model view.

I enjoy making all of my links, clasps and findings using wire. I hammered and filed Copper Wire, then used fire and water to bring out the rainbow of colors.

Three genuine turquoise rondelles accent a large teardrop turquoise drop. Between the copper links are genuine White Blister Pearls alternating by turquoise chips. Then I added more turquoise chips, separated by a hexagon seed beed.

The finding is a hand formed Heart and S-Clasp. I added a series of links to the necklace so the length would drop down far enough to show all of the connectors. It is approximately 19 inches long.
