SHIPPING & CARING FOR:
This item will be sent to you in a flat package. You will need to wrap it around your arm to suit. Bend it only this 1 time! if you take your bracelet off bend it only slightly by bending the ends vertically NOT HORIZONTALLY. It is not fragile but over extensive bending may cause breakage so please handle your wristwrap with a little love and you can enjoy your wrap for a very long time.

A little bit about me:
I was made with a technique called wire wrapping. The technique is, as said, coiling the wire to take its desired shape using only basic pliers. We were finished with some coils and sparkling rackled glass beads. My shape reminds oddly of a butterfly and flower, not in the original sweet way but with a wonderful stylish modern flavour. Wonderful as a gift but better to keep ;-), can be worn casually as well as to a party.

A little bit about me:
I was made with 2 techniques. The cabochon area was created with bead embroidery. My gorgeous Rhodoite cab was glued onto a base of red/ Bordeaux ultra-suede. It was then framed in with beautiful red lustre, black and platinum seedbeads. A flourish of swarovski crystals in 4 shades frame my gorgeous cabonchon.My band was made with peyote stitch. Super flexible and comfortable to wear. If you have never worn a bead woven ring before you’ll be amazed with the comfort of wearing a ring like this that follows the shape of your finger whilst being flexibly steady and stays where it’s at!

I am a beautiful handflower. absolutally unique in its kind. I was made with Peyote stitch, a technique in which 1 bead is added at the time. The beads slightly overlap each other in this weave (like stones in a brick wall). This is a great way to create supple shapes in your weaving. The sides of my bracelet section were joined with Square stitch, A technique in which 1 bead is added at the time allowing the beads to fall right underneath or beside the next.

a little faq:
The Red Lacewing is found from India to the Phillipines, and is a member of the Heliconiinae, a subfamily of the butterfly family Nymphalidae. It’s colloquially named - rather self-evidently - for the exquisite, ‘lace-like’ patterning on the underwings - which are much easier to see than the vivid red upperwings that the butterfly only seems willing to show off occasionally!
