INSPIRATION

Lydia K is a Toronto designer that I admire, she is extremely talented and truly individual. She designed a bustle a couple of years ago to go under her jackets in her collection. I am totally mad for bustles and wanted to design one that would be more modern and functional. So I decided to marry my two loves...fanny packs and bustles and voila, my new favourite bag.

DETAILS

The main fabric of the bag is a heavy dark navy denim. The ruffles of the bustle are made from bias cut yellow and white striped shirting(65%polyester & 35%cotton) and very stiff white nylon tulle. The strap is adjustable and detachable and fits from 33"-42" for all you renegade ladies that will wear it on your waist or if you would like to wear it across your chest. The metal zip closure measures 14" and I attached my own pull for the zipper...a mini handcuff that opens. The lining is made of yellow and white striped shirting fabric and is hand sewn in. Inside there is a 5" zippered pocket for your wallet, compact, etc. Last but not least the back of the bag is finished with white cotton piping.

MEASUREMENTS

13"long and 10.5" tall.

CARE

Fabric are not pre-washed. I am clumsy and well stains and spots do happen from time to time. My bustle bags always has a Tide stick inside just for those moments.

My love for menswear and cute things. I wanted to design a layering piece that you can wear with a beater or a fitted long sleeve thermal. I am in love with anything super high waisted and this is the perfect top. This is one of my signature pieces and co-ordinates well with my trousers and skirts. I love names that are androgynous...always keeps people guessing.

DETAILS

This sweet shirt is made from traditional men's pink shirting fabric(65%polyester/35%cotton). Ruffles along the centre front and along the top of the collar give it a more feminine touch. All hems are finished with 1" elastic to give a sassy, girlie fit to a otherwise boxy shirt. One snap closure at the collar...that's the Spanish in me givin' some gangster.

Centre front to Hem: 15"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 15.5"

CARE
Fabric is not pre-washed. Wash in cold water, hang to dry and iron at cotton setting.

White cotton ripstock(98% cotton/2% lycra) trousers, the slight stretch in the fabric makes for an amazing fit. Low rise wide legged pants with a unique off centre zip front. Side left front pocket and one right back pockets for all your pocket treasures. Carriers for your belt wearing pleasure.
