Natural Black 100 percent Angora yarn, 3 ply, 2 ounce ball

$22.00
Actually a darker grey than the natural grey yarns, from black angora hybrid rabbits. The yarn itself varies as I spin it along, from light to dark to light again. The yarn will stripe naturally but unpredictably. They have black guard hairs and the awn fluff and wool hairs are a dark grey. Each ball is approx. 90-120 yards. Handcrafted three ply yarn from my spinning wheel and drop spindle, all from the old-timey way of spinning and plying yarn by hand. There is a light worsted weight feel to the yarn, and it thickens and thins as it knits, because of the handspun factor. Very nice yarn. I have new black rabbits in the barn, two does named "Blackberry" and "Blueberry". They love having haircuts and all the alfalfa they want:) I have to apologize for the pictures, but it shows how the color will change in the ambient light. Thanks for looking!

Pizza! Everyone loves pizza night and Pizza Dragon is here to deliver! He stands 15 and a quarter inches tall, wearing a chef's hat and "Kiss the Cook" apron which was cut from white commercial felt and sewn on. He was needlefelted from neon green wool(which had no other purpose)on to a wire armature. His wings are needle then wetfelted, along with the pizza which is removeable. He has big red oven mitts needlefelted to his front feet so he won't get burned carrying the pizza.
Coincidently, the pizza is sausage and cheese, which is my husband's favorite:)

Angora Rabbit Fiber, White, 4 ounces Prime Wool for spinning, felting

$18.00

This is four ounces of prime white angora rabbit wool for your handspinning needs. It is clipped right off the rabbit and ready to be processed. I prepare my fibers like this: grab up a handful, tease with carders to get the wool tangled a little so it's not so slippery, and spin onto your drop spindle or spinning wheel. Then, ply as you like, skein your yarn, tie it off and wash. Block and dry and you are done! Now all you have to do is knit it up into something! You can also blend this fiber with other fibers.
I send out the 4 ounce packages in a paper bag so they do not felt as they do in plastic. Thanks for looking!!

I have been busy experimenting with various media. These cute little plush bunnies are sewn out of long fluffy faux fur and stuffed with poly fiberfill. They sit approx 13" high, 5" wide and 8" deep. I needlefelted sheep's wool paws and noses on them for a realistic touch. Each bunny took a full two days to make, but they sure are cute. Their whiskers are made of clean goat hairs, and they have plastic safety eyes. Not meant for small children simply because they would be very hard to clean, i.e. no washing machines, spot and air dry only. Thanks for looking!

Adds a warm and invitingly soft feel to your knitting, and takes dyes readily. Colors usualy get a pastel look with angora. Handspun and hand-plyed with a spinning wheel and drop spindle, these yarns have been lovingly handraised on the rabbit, clipped off without hurting the animals, and completely handcrafted by myself.
The yarn is a light worsted weight, with some thickening and thinning to the plys, when worked up you won't see much difference. Can be used by itself or worked with another yarn. The ball in the picture is the 1.5 ounce size, the 2 ounce ball looks the same, just a half ounce bigger. Each ball is appox. 90-120 yards.
