This long (14") 500 ml bottle has decreasingly smaller "bubbles" and ends in a long neck. I have no idea what it was in its previous life but now it is a decorator hummingbird feeder. I've encircled it with my copper wire art accented with my hand-formed signature copper leaves and cobalt blue glass beads. I've custom-fit it with a white rubber stopper (white rubber is THE BEST for hummingbird feeders) with a hand-formed plexi feeding tube dipped in red. Overall measurements: 20"x5"x3 1/2".

Included with each feeder is a pamphlet with the sugar/water recipe and tips for attracting hummers.

New Life for an Old Vase

This is one of those glass vases that every lady has received at some point in her life. This one no longer holds flowers but instead will offer nectar to those amazing little hummingbirds that everyone loves to watch.

The vase is inverted and surrounded by my copper wire art, accented with my signature hand-formed copper leaves and soft pink beads. It is custom-fit with a white rubber stopper (white rubber is THE BEST when needing an air-tight seal) and has a hand-formed plexi feeding tube with a red tip. Hummers stick their little bill in the tube and lap up the nectar they need for quick energy. Overall measurements of the feeder: 16" x 4 1/2" x 4". Included with the feeder are the nectar recipe and tips for attracting hummers.

This Isn't Your Grandma's Prune Juice

The bottom of this round green glass bottle, which is now the top, says Sunsweet, and as I recall, that is prune juice. The bottle is about 7" tall x 5 1/2" across x 3" deep. It is inverted and surrounded with copper wire art in loops and swirls to complement the shape of the bottle. I've accented the frame with my signature individually-formed copper leaves and lots of red raspberry glass beads (front and back). Then I custom-fit the bottle with a white rubber stopper and a hand-formed plexi feeding tube with red tip to show the hummers where to find their sweet nectar. Overall measurements of the feeder: 13" x 6" x 4 1/2".

Included with each of my feeders is a pamphlet with the nectar recipe and lots of tips for attracting hummingbirds along with a certificate stating that it is handmade and one-of-a-kind.

Hummingbird Feeder Ornament

I've saved all the stoppers from the decanters I've used to make hummingbird feeders, figuring they could be used to make something. And sure enough, the decanter stoppers are perfect to turn into hummingbird feeder ornaments (non-functioning), in the same motif as my feeders.

The glass stopper is wrapped in copper art, with a red bead and tiny copper leaves. The non-functioning feeding tube is copper dipped in red liquid plastic. Overall measurements: 4.5"h x 3"w x 2.5"d. A perfect ornament or suncatcher for the hummingbird enthusiast!

This two-station tube feeder is designed to be added to a hanging basket, patio plant, or windowbox. Constructed of hand-twisted copper wire. Feeding tubes are plastic with red rubber caps. The hummer sticks his little bill into the hole and fills up. Hummers think they're at a trumpet flower - only better! Yes, they use them - look at the pictures in my header. I found this light green square wavy glass container and warpped it up in copper art. I've accented it with green beads and my signature hand-formed copper leaves. This two-piece set is sure to please any hummingbird lover.

The shepherd's crook is about 34" tall and has a tri-pod base to insure stability. This is the perfect height for a large planter or window box. It would also work in a flower garden that hummers already visit. Because most of the hummers that visit North America do not prefer to feed low to the ground, it is probably a little short to place out in an open area. It is decorated with purple beads and my signature copper leaves.
