I designed this 2-1/2" x 3" bead knitted bag in the most scrumptuous royal purple #8 perle cotton with deep dark ruby silver lined 11/0 czech glass seed beads specifically thinking of the popularity of the Red Hatters out there.

The top opening is 1/2 inch and this little amulet could hold a bit of change, chakra stones, medallions or any precious treasures.

The neck piece is hand crocheted beaded rope joined to the bag with 3 charming deep dark ruby czech pressed glass beads. The rope length is 25 inches.

Bead Crochet Rope of muted lavender & mint 8/0 Japanese Opaline glass seed beads intertwine over a soft hot pink Japanese Toho Aiko core with a bit of gold lined Japanese Toho Aiko glass beads twisted in for good measure.

Each bead was handstrung on polyester top stitch thread one at a time in perfect pattern to achieve this piece of ART. A very trying and time consuming process but well worth the result.

This bracelet measures 8 inches unstretched and as all my crochet ropes it stretches to at least 1 inch more for ease in rolling on and off the hand.

My hand crocheted rope is created with tiny size 13/0 transparent yellow Czech charlotte true cut seed beads hand strung on a variegated polyester thread and crocheted with a very small size 12 steel crochet hook. The entire necklace measures 19 to 20 inches depending on which split ring you hook the silver plated heart clasp into. A 4mm swarovski rhinestone rondelle decorates each end.

This Photo Pendant of a wild cactus blossom from the southwest desert measures 22mm x 23mm with an additional 10mm on top for the sterling silver bail. Sarah Whitney is the photographer and you can read about her technique for producing these gorgeous pendants at her shop:

Truly a One of a Kind infinite bead crochet. This 7 inch inspiration came right out of my imagination.

Purple posies and sky blue background is created from Japanese 8/0 seed beads as are the silver strand of spiralling butterflies.

This was carefully laid out in a pattern format and strung one bead at a time onto polyester heavy duty thread, invisiblt joined and flighty flutterbies added after completion.

Here is a bigger bag, 47mm wide at the actual bag bottom before fringe and 44mm deep before the 12mm fringe. The Czech seed beads used in this precious piece are black lined ruby red transparent size 11/0. The DMC #8 perle cotton thread that I handknitted this pendant/brooch with is a lovely shade of purple.

Findings are all silver tone pewter and the pin backed bow is removable from the split ring for wear as a pendant on a thin chain or ribbon. You get two uses for the price of one.

Dainty Delicate Design

This is another perfect addition to any Spring/Summer wardrobe. This rope is so lightweight, you won't even know you have it on. The diameter of the rope is only 5 mm and the length is 15 inches.

I used a very special newly developed Japanese seed bead from TOHO bead company in Hiroshima, Japan. This bead is a tiny 13/0 cylinder of glass that is identical in size and shape with all of it's fellow beads. Doesn't sound like too big a deal, but the seed bead industry has been struggling with this for ages.

The beads are white pearl and shiny gold lined. I have strung them in a Z pattern which necessitated alot of time in keeping the pattern perfect even before I crocheted the rope with polyester top stitch thread.

The clasp is a gold plated magnet 4mm and extremely strong.

Again, this is an extremely durable treasure.

Thousands of tiny seed beads create the stunning diamond patterns that I hand strung on polyester heavy duty thread then hand crocheted into this one of a kind heirloom art jewelry with sterling silver hook clasp.

This piece is designed with genuine silver plated and 14kt gold plated seed beads along with complimentary browns and greens. To form the diamonds, I first chart with colored pencils on graph paper to get the stringing pattern. I then spend many many hours laboriously hand stringing the tiny 11/0 glass seed beads onto the thread in that intricate pattern for 126 inches in length and finally hand crochet all that length and design into a 20 inch finished tubular rope with amazing strength and durability.

In complete honesty, this piece took me years to complete due to its intensity of design.

Handknit Beaded Holiday Ornament Red/Green

70mm or 3 inch diameter heirloom green ornament covered by my hand knitted red yarn and green silver lined glass beads in up & down arrow pattern.

I knitted this by hand on four double pointed needles so that it would be seamless then slipped it over the unbreakable ornament and stitched each end closed. The red yarn is acrylic and has a thread of red metallic nylon coiling through it. The glass transparent green 6/0 Czech beads are silver lined for brilliance.

This is a unique addition to your HEIRLOOM HANDMADE HOLIDAY decorations.

This hand knitted little amulet bag measures 40mm x 40mm and is uniquely equipped with a 23 inch hand bead knitted twist chain. (I say that because the labor intensive nature of knitting the strap is a rare fete of mine) Total length of this piece is 26 inches which fits nicely over any head and eliminates the need for those pesky clasps.

The three sapphire sparkle drop embellishments on the flap of this bitty purse are 8mm faceted cubic zirconia.

An absolutely exquisite addition to any wardrobe.

I hand knitted this one of a kind creation on size 0000 four inch knitting needles after first stringing all the 11/0 Czech seed beads onto #8 perle cotton thread. The process from start to finish was at least 7 days of intensive labor but the result was the reward.

This SUPER rope...as I call my extreme efforts in length..reflects the American Way of freedom. Measuring a whooping 65 inches from fringe to fringe it is a righteous belt/lariat in a radiant blend of blues,reds, golds, silvers,and purples. All the 11/0 Czech seed beads in this colorful mix share one common trait...they are transparent.

My background thread is a dark blue heavy duty polyester for durability and heirloom longevity.

The accent genuine Venetian glass 16mm disc beads have real copper and gold shavings swirled with a light turquoise core. The 85cm (3 inch) long fringe of 5 loops bears glass Japanese rectangular cube beads and 6/0 seed beads at the bottom most points.

This ooak labor of love took a month in creation and ranks with the finest of my works.

Unakite Slider Rope

Another of my endless ropes with a natural gemstone slider pendant. This one is a unakite teardrop 34mm long 24.5mm wide at the widest point and 15mm thick.

The rope portion is 23 inches in length for ease in slipping over the head without need of a pesky clasp. I made the rope a matching shade of 11/0 Czech glass seed beads to the salmon threads in the stone.

Unakite is a semi-precious stone native to the mounatains of North Carolina. It is also called "epidote" which is derived from the greek "epidosis", meaning "growing together". It is a combination of red jasper and green epidote solidly bound together...hence the statement "what comes together belongs together".

Unakite is said to lift one's spirits and help you see the beauty in life. It is also used to uncover deception. Used in spell casting, unakite gives the user more confident control of any spell and the user will find things lost or missing with the stone.

I wear very little jewelry myself, but I do have a unakite pendant similar to this one on an infinite rope chain that I slip over my head before going anywhere. It goes with any outfit and is so comfortable I forget I have it on. I wear the stone as a reminder that my heart is in NC with my children and grandchildren.

Whole different ball game this design. I invented this particular pattern myself by creating a chart to follow then had to string each individual bead in pattern onto my heavy duty polyester thread. After I had about 48 inches of strung beads I was able to begin the process of crocheting them into an infinite bangle.

It usually takes about 15 hours to accomplish this, barring the unforseen knot which can take hours to unravel.

This one of a kind piece is composed of size 11 Miyuki Japanese glass Delica seed beads in brown matte, red silver lined and yellow silver lined. The bracelet measures 7-1/2 inches before the stretch factor of an inch or more for rolling over the hand.

I was teaching myself to make straight lines/stripes in crochet rope which is not an easy task. The common spiral is the natural occurrence when crochet rope with beads.

is the superb glass artist who created this unique little green lampwork glass snake climbing on my "woody" 18 inch bead crochet necklace. Her adorable snake is 50mm in length and slides perfectly on the rope I hand crocheted from my own hand spun mix of 11/0 Miyuki Japanese glass seed beads. It also can be removed for a different look AND it is able to be slipped in hair braids or dreads.

Meanwhile, as if totally unaware of the approaching excitement, a sweet little 28mm "copper" kitten plays with a ball of yarn as the "S" hook clasp.

This is one very versatile piece suitable for a variety of wearers. What a wonderful gift idea! I can custom design matching bangle/bracelet, earrings or anklet to create a complete "set" if you wish. Be sure to allow me at least a week to finish any additional items.
