Realistic faux pebbles made of polymer clay are securely wrapped in sterling wire. So lightweight you won't even know you're wearing them! These are my best selling style at shows. They look great on almost everybody.

Each pair is a little different, just as real pebbles would vary. They all look just like beach pebbles or river stones. The color will be a very deep charcoal grey that looks black.

The earrings hang aprox. 1.5 inches from the top of the earwire. The pebbles are between 3/8 and 1/2 inches.

Bold, but very lightweight, these polymer clay and sterling silver earrings are sure to get comments! A black and white marine design has been transferred to luminous white polymer - the ink transfer looks like the pooling of light you see under water. A soft off-white polymer clay pendant with an image transfer of a traditional Japanese cherry blossom branch. My transfer technique involves distressing the ink to give it that crazed, porcelain appearance that brings out the gray and indigo tones. The back is textured charcoal gray polymer.

This is a comprehensive tutorial on how to build a lentil shaped focal bead and pendant out of polymer clay and metal foils. It consists of 22 pages and more than 40 photographs of clear step-by-step instructions on how to construct a fabulous, finished and beautifully crafted bead in less than 30 minutes (not including baking time). Throughout the tutorial, I've included lots of general tips about working with polymer clay. And, as a bonus, you get an additional 3 pages of variations using caning, mica shift and textural techniques!

Some polymer clay experience is helpful, but not necessary. The tutorial is geared to the beginner and intermediate clayer with a basic knowledge of polymer clay techniques, even if just seen in a book or demo. Only simple tools and a pasta machine are used. Materials are readily available at craft stores or on-line - sources are included in the tutorial.

Small faux polymer pebbles stack at the end of sterling silver wires. The long, linear shape curves nicely. They are sophisticated, simple and very becoming. Guaranteed to gets lots of comments.

The earrings are very lightweight. For added security, I include clear rubber stops that are pushed up to rest against the back of the earlobe, where they can't be seen. They hang 1.75 inches inches from the top of the earwire.

20 gauge silver wire is used - this may not be comfortable for those with newly pierced ears.

Another in my series of black and white pieces with an Asian flair. These large, bold earrings have a stylized cherry blossom motif transferred onto polymer clay. My process includes crackling the black ink, lending the appearance of crazed porcelain. The color is not stark black - it has indigo and grey undertones.

The backs are a dark charcoal gray. They measure a bold 1.75 inches in diameter, but they are extremely lightweight. They are finished with handcrafted 20gauge sterling earwires.

These wonderfully shimmery earrings are very versatile. Dress them up or dress them down. Equally attractive with jeans or a little black dress!

My transfer technique onto polymer involves distressing the ink so that it looks like old porcelain. These are smallish earrings, measuring a little over 1 inch from the top of the handmade 20 gauge sterling silver earwire. I finish them with a rivet and a textured black back.

Extremely lightweight and comfortable. So light you won't even know you are wearing earrings!

This is really a Japanese garden with dahlias, but I think they look like fireworks! I transferred a traditional Japanese design onto luminous, creamy white polymer clay. The earrings are backed in a rich, buttery yellow. The 20 gauge sterling silver earwires are also handmade.

Polymer clay is washed with shades of blue and fuschia alcohol inks and silkscreened in gold acrylic paint. The shape is a stylized leaf, with an organic twist. The edges are painted with gold leaf pen, and look very much like a gold bezel. Both sides of the earring are finished.

They hang about 1.5 inches from the top of the handmade 14K gold filled earwires (20 gauge). For security, clear rubber stops are included - just push them all the way up the earwire so they rest invisibly behind the earlobe.
