Light your way with the glow of PEACE. Put on a steamy kettle of JOY....fill your cupboard with a little enchantment. Have a cup-o-WHIMSY with a dash of bottled WONDER!

This stocking is made from vintage material I picked up at a funky antique shop. It's pretty darn adorable...there are cute little tea pots and kettles, old fashioned scales and lanterns, some pots and pans, utensils and drawers with little key holes and cook books on the shelves. The colors are delightful! Across the top I've stitched a piece of wool from a recycled blanket ( the same one used in the "Herb Collector Trashion Shoulder bag for sale in my shop.)The word "WESTERN" was already embroidered on it...maybe the brand of blanket? I just thought it was cool. I've also sewn on some scraps of dark teal corderoy, vintage sixties black and white polka dot polyester and some thrifted magenta cotton with printed stars. I've also appliqued a large sprig of holly to add a bit of a Holiday feel. It's a bit camoflauged but if you look closely you can see that I've stitched on the words: PEACE, JOY, WHIMSY, ENCHANTMENT AND WONDER on various articles of the kitchen print. The back is made of only the kitchen print and the stocking is lined with an off white cotton weave...complete with a themoonismymother tag!

There's plenty of room for Santa's goodies..this baby measures about 16" from top hem to heel, 11.5" from heel to toe and is 8.5" wide.

Fantabulous, unconventional Christmas stocking made from fun, recycled material!

Sick of just red and green?

This one reminds me of your Great Aunt Nelda's garden.It looks like it would even smell like an old lady. Flowers up the wazoo and lots of scrumptious texture. Bits of blue gauze, maroon velvet, and a natural hand-woven material at the toes and heel. Flower body is made from a vintage pillow case as well as the yellow and white checkered print across the top....all material is recycled! Lined with bright pink vintage flannel by LANZ (I'm pretty sure my Mommy made me some jammies out of this stuff when I was a kid)

Big enough for a whole load of coal.

Top to heel...aprox 18"
Width....around 8.5"

Boho streamers are pretty streamy streamers for your ears! I've created these with the idea of flowing femininity an loads of fun in mind!Streamers are sandwiched and stitched between vintage fabric and pierced with a metal eyelet for hanging ear wires. Years ago I created a paper mache mask of myself and used left over, torn scraps, of raw silk, lace, and shimmery sequined fabric for the hair....I've been trying to come up with an accessory that reflects the beauty of all those different textures and
colors.......voila!

HAUNTED was made with a scary combination of colors!Tombstone grays,graveyard dirt brown,midnight blue and black and sparkling full moon white!An assortment of dry dangly leaves hang from the ends and a glow-in-the-dark bead is tangled into one.You'll also spy some casette tape wound into these creepy steamers cuz everyone knows how much ghosts love to make their voices heard on electronic equipment!Streamers made from 100% recycled/repurposed fabric.They measure aproximately 14" long.

Ear Streamers are super light and best worn co-mingled in long hair..it takes just a bit of getting used to because they feel...not heavy at all...but definately......there. Please be careful if you have little ones or you're just a rowdy girl that you don't get them pulled or snagged....OUCH!

I LOVE making and rehabbing clothing from upcycled and vintage materials....I just don't do enough of it here on etsy. This is the first skirt in my "FRANKENSKIRT" series...where I use bits and pieces of different,found materials...stitch em' together to create a freakishly stylish one-of-a-kind creation for the unique-loving eco minded shopper.

LONDON CALLING is made from two vintage, Irish made tea towels...soft as ever...and an antique silk pillow case!The predominately red tea towel sports a Mounted Guardsman (it says so at the bottom..and..by Ulster too) The colors are vibrant and the print is reminiscent of a faery tale scene. I've added a stitched heart to the horse ( made from vintage fabric) which reads: "Home is where the heart is." The other tea towel is mostly a very light sky blue and dons a dapper looking John Cleese type with pin striped knickers, black jacket with a red corsage holding a breif case,a paper under his arm and an umbrella....and for even more fun,I've added a sew on googly eye and big, grey buttons to his sports coat.Near the bottom hem, I've added a bright blue and orange knit doily and an appliqued bunch of cabbage munching rabbits. Under slip is made from an antique white,silk pillow case. The pillow case is really old and a bit fragile...infact there were a few tiny holes and small stains that I've lovingly appliqued with small square patches...they only show if you lift the tea towel flaps though. Where the tea towels meet,I've added five metal eyelets per edge where the skirt laces up with vintage yarn and at the mid front is a vintage, faux jade costume pin ( removable) This skirt is meant to be worn with the lacing up the front and back but can also be worn with the lacing up the sides....also looks really cute with waist band around top of bust...as a tunic.

I don't own a serger....I think they're awesome but I prefer to stick with the old school stitch of my trusty machine. The waist band is stitched sturdily with no raw edging.While cleansing,please treat this garment with the gentleness that it deserves....HANDWASH IN WARM WATER,MILD DETERGENT AND HANG TO DRY AND PLEASE REMOVE BOTH LACING AND COSTUME JEWELRY PIN BEFORE WASHING.
This is a piece of wearable art that is super comfy and sturdy so don't be afraid to have fun in it but please be aware that the materials are pre-loved and in vintage condition which require a bit gentler handling when washing.

Should fit a Small/Medium but please read the measurements below for a fantastic fit!

Length of tea towels: 29"

Lenth of pillow case: 21" ( please keep in mind that the pillow case peeks out a bit at the slits and that it is semi-sheer so where you bestest white panties!

VOGUE reminds me of of back in the day when Madonna wore ginormous false eyelashes, pleather bustiers and had platinum hair! Created from a black/white/pink pallette, I've used materials like, vintage eighties black & white splatter paint print, vintage black & white polyester, recycled t-shirt, silver metalic fabric, hot pink curly yarn from the 70's, black "eyelash" yarn as well as other vintage/recycled yarn,lace & ribbon. This pair is a little extra special because from each one dangles a 2" long plastic doll eyelash! And...as usual I've also added a few feathery leaves,beads & giant reflective sequins. Measures about 14.5" long!
