Kokeshi dolls are painted wood dolls made in Japan. I found 6 little vintage Kokeshi picks. They were so cute, I decided to make a little charm bracelet out of them. I added little wire-wrapped beaded charms in blue and green with some white and black accent.

The chain and connectors (head pins and jumprings) for this charm bracelet are copper. The chain does have a copper colored metal toggle clasp. The bracelet is 7 1/2" long. It is meant to dangle. The little seed beads in black, green and white are vintage. The rest of the beads are new.

This is an altered vintage illustration of fairies doing their laundry from a children's book.

I used a light colored suede leather strap and a Swarovski crystal toggle clasp. I liked the mix of texture. It was like mixing the ethereal with the earthy, the feminine with the masculine. I thought it captured the essence of what I think of when I think of fairies, heavenly creatures that are tied to the nature on earth.

The image hugs the Rummikub. Some of the image spills over on each side of the pendant.

The necklace is 20 1/2" long.

Unique Copper Chimpanzee Necklace and Earring Set

I've loved chimpanzees since I was a toddler. I loved them so much that my siblings nicknamed me "Monkey". We didn't know that chimps were not monkeys. I made one of these necklace for myself. Since I made extra, I thought I would go ahead and offer a set for sale on etsy.

The chimp picture in this necklace and earrings set is a copy of an original drawing by me. Both the earrings and the pendant are signed on the back.

The pendant and earrings are made with copper metal box labels. The image is a print on top of cardstock inside the box label. The cardstock makes the earrings and pendant quite light and easy to wear. Each chimp has amber glass drop earrings. I made the spiral beads on the necklace with two gauges of copper wire.

The color in the sets is a mix of gold and copper with browns.

The necklace is 17 1/2" long with a toggle clasp. The pendant is about 2" across from "ear to ear" and 1 1/4" long. The earrings are about 1 1/4" from "ear to ear" and 7/8" long.

The domino is 1"x2" and about 1/4" thick. The sides of the domino have been painted with copper leaf. The necklace is about 18" long. The clasp is a vintage brass barrel clasp. The necklace has 8 orange glass flower and 10 blue glass leaf beads running up the neck.

Vintage paper from a German magazine, mixed with vintage images of a butter and a rose are all collected in a collage under a glass nugget.

The pendant has a soldered ring around the outside. The collage is a variety of vintage and vintage repro papers. On the back you can see a page from a vintage german magazine and the black and white image of a spring flower.

The braided leather cord necklace is about 19" in length with a silver colored metal toggle clasp.

These earrings are oval shaped lavender colored bead with a pearly finish on one side. Each bead has a swirly pattern on the inside of the oval. The earrings are 1 1/2" from the top of the hook to the bottom of the bead. The earring wire is plated sterling silver.

Bow Wow! Doggy themed Charm Bracelet.
This is an 8" very adjustable charm bracelet in black, white, red and silver. The bracelet features dog head and bone charms. The beads are a mix of faux pearl, plastic and a few glass. The bead stems are wire-wrapped and added as charms.

I made this bracelet with a whole package of toggle clasps. The result is that the bracelet is very adjustable. The dog heads and the bones with the shaft are the two parts of the toggle clasp.

Lanterns is made with vintage recycled Lucite beads, red glass beads and frosted green beads. Each stack of beads looks like a lantern with the big bright bead in the middle.

I love the little bubbles inside the Lucite beads. When the light is shining through the beads, it reminds me of a summer patio party.

This bracelet is quite chunky. I've added 3 tiny bells that tinkle when you move your wrist. I also added 2 metal flower charms.

The 7" chain is silver plated. The clasp is a silver toggle clasp.

When you have a nice focal piece such as this 1 1/2" circular bird and flower pendant, I don't think you want to add much goo-gah.

"Color of Money" is a copper and green charm bracelet featuring a solid copper chain, vintage copper findings and vintage beads. The focal point of the bracelet is an orphaned earring with two small bead charms matching the center beads on the earring. The piece does have a button back, so that it is gentle on your wrist.

The bracelet has three types of big beads, vintage reused lucite beads, vintage 70's glass macrame beads and brass(?) tube beads. Two types of vintage copper finding have been added, twisted flowers and 3-leaf charms.

The bracelet measures about 7 1/2". To give you an idea of fit, my wrist measures 7" and this bracelet is too small for me. So to fit in this bracelet you need a wrist smaller than 7".

"More Pink" is an altered art mixed media charm necklace made with a variety of pink, gold and white found objects. The centerpiece of the necklace is a cluster of pink and white cabs set in gold on a gold leaf background.

The necklace includes a variety of reycled and reused items including buttons and orphaned and/or broken jewelry pieces. I've included a pink and black ladybug and a greyish pink pig as well as some wonderful pink beads.

The found objects are attached onto a gold chain connected to pink cord. The clasp is a gold toggle clasp.

The necklace is just under 24" in length.

The Rock Collector

As the wife of an avid rock collector and lover of stones, I was thrilled when I found a broken necklace fill with polished stone beads at an estate sale. Finally, I could easily put together a beautiful polished stone wearable!

I wire-wrapped 6 lovely polished stone beads on gold headpins with little amber glass seed beads. I added stems of fire-polished amber colored glass beads and gold metal beads as well as a couple of round stone beads from the same broken necklace. Diamonds are not the only stones that remain beautiful forever.

The stones vary in color from red to purple to greenish with some grey and white mixed in. The chain is gold colored. The bracelet is 7" long. The clasp is a gold toggle clasp.

"Going Tribal"

A new recycle/reuse button and bead charm bracelet made from handmade turned wood oval beads. The wood on the beads is gorgeous. I added plain dark blue posted buttons for texture and color. This bracelet also contains some white and black beads with simple tribal designs.

The bracelet is just slightly over 7". The chain is silver, as is the toggle clasp. The beads are wire-wrapped and attached with jump rings.

The Rock Garden

The flower in this beautiful rock garden necklace is actually an orphaned earring that I found at an estate sale. I decided to turn the earring into a pendant. The pendant has a couple light purple crystals and a lovely purple and white stone set inside a decorative filigree setting.

The necklace matches the bracelet I listed called "The Rock Collector". It features polished stone beads from the same broken necklace I found at an estate sale. The fire-polished amber-colored bead stems have the same gold metal accent beads. The same amber seed beads were used on both.

The necklace is 18 1/4" in length with a toggle clasp. The stones are a purplish red with a little white and grey.

This is a two piece set made from polished stone beads I found at an estate sale. The beads area greenish color. I've added some iridescent amber glass beads and some gold metal beads as well. Colorful Festive Sparkle Crystal, Glass, and Silver Charm Bracelet

I had my eye on the colorful beads in this bracelet for a long time. The colors were so festive I couldn't resist. When I brought them home, I couldn't wait to make a charm bracelet out of them.

Along with the multi-colored glass beads I used large prism cut crystal beads. I added a variety of silver metal beads, beadcaps and earring backs. The chain is silver plated. The clasp is a crystal toggle.

Each wire-wrapped charm is attached with a split ring, so that they won't easily come off of the bracelet.

The bracelet is 7 1/2" long.

Butterflies and Crystal Flowers

This wire-wrapped charm bracelet features large (10mm) peridot green swarovski crystal beads and large (approx. 27mm x 21mm) silver butterfly charms.

The silver flower charms have been enhanced with a vintage pearly blue center and swarovski 10mm bicone peridot crystal beads. To accent the butterflies and flowers I've also added little buds consisting of swarovski crysal 6mm wide white opal briolette beads with vintage pearly green toppers.

The bracelet is designed to dangle on a larger wrist at 8". The chain is an upcycled found chain. The clasp is a silver toggle.
