Vintage 1960's PIERRE CARDIN Misses Suit McCall's 5550 Sewing Pattern Size 12

Single breasted, boxy jacket and slim three-gore skirt. Jacket has curved seaming, back and front; away-from-neck collar. Three-quarter sleeves set in drop shoulder armholes. Built in pockets with bias bands in bow effect. Jacket is lined; collar, neck, front and lower edges, pocket bands and sleeve hems are interfaced. Dart fitted skirt has low pleat and zipper closing at center back.

The waistband in Style 2 is finished with belt carriers through which a purchased belt is inserted. Two oversize patch pockets accent the skirt front and saddle-stitching is used as trimming.
